Been to LC's three times now, with a very good girl friend ;)
We've been on both Friday and Saturday nights;
both nights are quite different; Fridays allowing in single guys as well;
Saturdays couples / single ladies only.
The halloween party had to be seen to be believed - over 80 couples attended !
On Fridays the single guys can be a bit pushy in the rooms, but if you are straight with them then order can be restored quickly !
On both nights, it's really just one big party with very friendly people
met some great people there - you know who you are !
We'll be going again this weekend.
Can't recommend this club enough
drink prices are cheap, staff are friendly, and the music is great

Hi all we both went to the club on Saturday night for the first time and we looooooooved it the staff was very nice and the place had everything you could want, you deffo will be seeing us again there. The place is very clean and you dont get kicked out at the end well not until you have finished what you are up to anyway lol. Enjoy xxx

I used to attend this club years ago and loved it that much that we came as often as we could manage and highly recommended it to a few of our swinging friends... however after a few years of not going because of unforseen circumstances, i went back with my new partner ( whom i spoke to a lot about this place) things have changed and although we enjoyed ourselves, La Chambre is not as busy as it used to be, the dress code has changed ( for the better) We didnt get asked if we wanted a tour of the place, we went on the saturday ( couples night ) and had a bit of fun, this place has lost the spark and buzz it once had because less people are going and it seemed so empty in the lovely rooms mmmm... overall the place is nice, well run , staff are very friendly and so are the members.We will be back but will maybe try some other places too as we can only compare it with one other place (La Chambre is the better one.) We went on Sat 17th July, after much disussion we finally decided to take the plunge and go to a swinging club, we had read the reviews and were a bit concerned about some of the comments but decided to give it a try, As this was our first visit to a club we were quite nervous, crossing the road from the car park we were a little apprehensive, first impressions and all that, when we got inside we completed our membership and was given a guided tour, we were quite suprised at the size of the place, it was clean quite well presented with a good mix of couples, there were a few groups of people and apart from a polite hi we did not really chat to anybody in the bar area, so we decided to go into the pool, were met two lovely couples in there (maybe the fact you are all naked helps break the ice?) Anyway we decided to go down in the dungeon, what a laugh and a sexy session to go with it, then upstairs into the dark room, we had a fantastic time, Niki was big curious before we went she has decided she likes female on female and is wanting to go back for another try, anyway to sum it up, if you are curious and want to try a swinging club we can recommend this place. Went to La Chambre on the 24th July. I am quite heaily pregnant so sorry if that put anyone off. We tried not to push ourselves onto others in case it turned them off. Instead we choose to play within range of others so we could enjoy watching and if they wanted they could approach us. We played in the dark room and the mirrored room. The best club ever, we go about twice a month & have done on & off for many years.
Its always a good night on Fridays or Saturdays (couples night) we always come away haveing had a good time.

Must admit it could now do with a little update in places a fresh lick of paint & a few more air freshners here & there but over all its a very pleasent exsperiance we would defo recomend it to anyone.

been going to this club for a number of years now we both think it's a great place to be wether you want to swing or not the people are great nice big splash pool sauna and steam room downstairs and plentifull playrooms upstairs there is a nice area outside where you can sit and relax in the summer of course.we mainly go on saturday nights this is couples only night so dont hesitate get along to La chambre .........Long time members

After 4 years of attending this club we are sad to announce that due to an altercation with the owners of the club we will no longer be attending.
Our review of the club is that they seem more interested in making money than looking at the true swinging scene. So, until the club changes hands we will not be attending. Our advice, find pleasure else where. Have to add, Partners in Manchester certainly have this one in the bag !! :)..

WARNING: We hadn't been here for almost a year because it was so bad. But time heals the memories. We only ever do couples nights, never singles. Sat 21st Nov.
We played upstairs in a room on our own for a few mins, just relaxing and enjoying. When in came a man, coat and shoes still on, never mind the rest of his clothes and climbed on to the bed, staggered over to us (we were naked and therefore vulnerable) and said to the doorway 'she'll do, she's blonde, get in ere'. He then began to strip. Terrified was an understatement.
Luckily my partner defended me and the man decided after a few minutes to leave, not carry on. For those minutes I seriously considered I was about to be assaulted, raped or my partner attacked.
We have enjoyed clubs all over Europe and UK, never in any instance has anything ever like this happened.
People have complained about La Chambre, drugs, too much drink etc and nothing is done.
There is NO supervision of the rowdy drunk voyeurs prowling the top floor and no respect at all for any normal decent people there to swing. Indeed you cannot swing under those conditions. Its hardly surprising this club has haemorrhaged attendance to other clubs and unless the situation is urgently addressed, something very serious is going to go wrong. No one should be allowed upstairs drunk, drugged or dressed, end of.
If anyone can get to the management team and show them this, they need to know.

Ok for those who just want a short review amazing fantastic wonderful. For those prepared to read a little more, please read on.
We went on 21st November Saturdays couples only night.
As a couple we have been into thinking abou swinging for a while but only really got active this year. We are mainly looking for bi fems for Beth to play with. We would recomment La Chambre to any like minded couple, or soft swappers. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out we felt very comfortable and respected and horny as hell. We have been members for a number of years and have always enjoyed ourselves, yes there is always the problem of a lot of men on a friday but you can always say no, and also men with clothes on upstairs. But we have alway had great nights that is until friday. We travel a long way to the club plus hotel makes it an expensive weekend but well worth it until this friday. The place really is like a night club, the music in the main area is too loud and not conducive to meeting and talking with new friends. There seemed to be a posse of "regulars" who appeared to be more into dancing than actually swinging.
The rules were explained to us on the tour (dressing down in the play areas and single guys to play by invitation only) but when we went to explore these rules didn't seem to be enforced. Whilst we were playing some of the multitude of single guys would continually pester us to let them join in, at one point tugging on matt's leg mid-shag!!
There were lots of good themed play-rooms but some seemed to smell a bit dank.
It's quite an expensive night as there is a membership fee, entrance fee and as it is licensed you have to buy their (reasonably priced) alcohol.

We visited for the first time on Saturday 27th June.
Well, what we CAN say is that after visiting a number of clubs around the Yorkshire and Lancashire regions La Chambre is one that SHOULD NOT BE MISSED.
At this point it may be worth while noting that yes it was us 'knocking' on the door at 930 exactly lol.
From the moment you enter the club, there is a warm welcome from all the staff, as well as an exciting atmosphere.
It is as though you have walked into a nightclub / pub, but no ordinary club, this one's SPECIAL in ways we have not experienced anywhere before. in our opinion we were glad to see the club is not tucked away on a side street 'out of sight', but encoorporating itself into everyday life and the local community.
We have always commented on the fact that it would be good to feel as though your on "night out" few drinks, decent music, bit of a boogie and the ability to be able to engage in hedonistic enjoyment.
Well we have now found our PERFECT swingers club, not simply because of the fantastic rooms, dungeon and pool area, yes we tried them ALL! (oh and sorry to the lovely lady in the pool, hope we didn't make to many waves) but because of the clientel, wow sexy people, awesome clothes and the pure erotic electricty in the air.

WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE We almost didn't go after reading some of the reviews here, but being people who like to make our own minds up we decided to see for ourselves. And are we glad we did.We have been on four occassions now, two fridays and two saturdays and haven't failed to have a fantastic time each time. Facilities are second to none, a dungeon as good as some we have seen on the continent. The playrooms if a little crowded were clean and well upholstered.
We never saw any cliques just lots of people who were happy to chat to anyone even newbies.
We would recommend anyone uses their own judgement rather than listen to others,some who look to me like they have an axe to grind. If we had taken notice of them we would have missed some of the best nights ever, WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK

daveanddebbie69been here on several times, staff friendly enough but normally only speak to the regulars. will not be going back to this club again, if your not one of the IN crowd then dont bother and they even charge membership here which makes it even worse, we have been to xtasia, 101, chams, infusion, cupids and this is by far the worse one of the lot

We have been members of La Chambre for a few years now, but have not attended the club for the past 8 months or so due to the bitchiness in the 'clique' that had become more and more offputting.
However we visited the club this weekend after hearing the news that the offending members had been given a life ban and what a complete difference in the atmosphere.
The club is no longer a 4 person show, it has returned to its former glory, everyone being so freindly and welcoming and the party atmosphere is again there. Lots of fun happening in the playrooms upstairs people mingling nicely.
If you have not been to La Chambre for a while we urge you to try again now this 'clique' has gone for good.
We spoke to the management during our visit who asked why we had not been in for such a long time and when we told them the reason why they said they knew there was a problem with a certain small group but they have now been banned.
What an amazing night we had there just like the good old days of La Chambre.
We would give the club full marks now the best swinging venue in the area for miles.
we would also like to comment on previous reviews about the la Chambre: the place is not dirty and is cleaned after each evenings event thoroughly but as you can expect during the course of an evening things will get a bit sticky! The venue has a zero tolerance on drug use on the premises and this has now been adressed once and for all. This is a swingers club as before mentioned by reviews that no one plays upstairs, again I think you will find this has changed so much. We had a fantastic time and lots of action in the rooms upstairs.

The club have turned a corner and have got rid of the bad wood causing all the issues in the club, I would strongley advise to try the club again as the atmostphere has changed here now and is now more fun as the so called locals who thought they owned the club have been banned, fantastic now

weve been member for just short of a year now weve been on fridays, saturdays & sundays so weve can give a very acurate view of this club, over the last 6 months this club has really gone down hill it is both filthy and smelly a place where you probally wouldnt take a dog, our view is the whole place needs a good clean and the beds and play areas need to be cleaned as they are allways sticky and wet. theres a shortage of bins and tissue in all the rooms the toilets are disgusting and there is no way i would sit on any of the toilets at lc chambre.
the whole place is somewhere where there must of been over a thousand kids with as many sticky gooey sweets as they wanted wiping there hands over all the floors, beds, wall and urinating all over the toilets and never been cleaned since.
WE WILL CERTINATLY NEVER BE USING THIS CLUB AGAIN ITS THE PITS

I went with a fella that I met on here to this place at the weekend as i had heard a lot about the place and was very curious. Neither of us been before so heres our views.we went all excited and revved up raring to go. Was shown round by a decent chap, friendly staff, good tunes playing.
This is where my comments are not so great. The downstairs toilet wet floor lack of loo roll plus very smelly.locker room and sauna area stunk of rotten something also? The jacuzzi pool looked dirty and was cold when I dipped my hand in so we decided better safe then sorry and did not bother with it {let down}.
The music played all night quite loud which meant there was little chance of sitting anywhere apart from the bar area to talk in comfort to other people but there was no chance as this is such a loud Not intimate scenario going on {more like a loud disco than a swingers club} this is all people here seem to do dance and maybe flash their tits and bits about.Upstairs was very disappointing the dark room again had this nasty odour happening in there and althow this club could be made nice it was all rather cheap and tacky and quite unclean in all honesty. Drinks {alcohol} were Ok priced but charging £1.50 for a bottle of water is absurd. On going down to the dungeoun the equipment was very tatty and lots unusable - what use is a cross to strap people on without any restraints? We mentioned this to the man who showed us around on exit and he said they had been stolen; oh thats nice what sort of a place is this when people do not respect and steal from the place? The air was pungent in the dungeoun so we left to go outside into the fresh air where many couples who introduced themselves as the ''mad'' regulars were openly smoking drugs.
At this point we left the club more than disappointed. What a complete waste of time and money.
We would suggest to the management to sort out these points;
the smell and dampness
the cleanliness and sanitation
the jacuzii pool area
the ridiculously loud music and there only being this one bar area to relax and talk to others in
the lack of reasonably priced soft drinks for non drinkers
the fact that people are smoking illegal drugs on your premises
and a seeminlgly clique going on, I had read about it but seeing is beliveing

This is where my comments are not so great. The downstairs toilet wet floor lack of loo roll plus very smelly.locker room and sauna area stunk of rotten something also? The jacuzzi pool looked dirty and was cold when I dipped my hand in so we decided better safe then sorry and did not bother with it {let down}.
The music played all night quite loud which meant there was little chance of sitting anywhere apart from the bar area to talk in comfort to other people but there was no chance as this is such a loud Not intimate scenario going on {more like a loud disco than a swingers club} this is all people here seem to do dance and maybe flash their tits and bits about.Upstairs was very disappointing the dark room again had this nasty odour happening in there and althow this club could be made nice it was all rather cheap and tacky and quite unclean in all honesty. Drinks {alcohol} were Ok priced but charging £1.50 for a bottle of water is absurd.
