Went to Le Chambre for a second time, hoping it would be better than our first visit, to our disapointment it was not. same group of clicky people took over the whole dance floor just talking to each other with no respect for anyone wanting to dance, The owners who seem a lovely couple need to do something about this group as we have heard the same thing from many other couples, wont be going back until this gets sorted.

La Chambre – Sheffield - 19 July 2008
We visited the club on a couple’s night in July 2008 and had been to the club once previously in 2004. Normally when we visit a club our opinions on it are usually universal as we tend to like the same kind of places and people, however on some aspects of La Chambre, we couldn’t find mutual agreement, and so we will have to split parts of this review into two voices on a few points. La Chambre is one of the longest running clubs in the UK and has been featured on numerous television programmes and documentaries. Located in the suburb of Attercliffe, a short drive out of Sheffield city centre (Around £6 by cab) there are several decent hotels near by, but we opted to stay at The Leopold in the city centre which was excellent and also upgraded us to a king suite for free at no extra cost. La Chambre runs different nights and events, including monthly bi nights (for women, and men) as well as Fetish nights. It is also the only club we know of that has a regular printed newsletter with events and extra information listed. There is a member’s forum and chat room on their web site, which was originally included in membership costs but is now run by an outside organisation no directly connected to the club which charges for its use, which is a seems a little bit cheeky, still not much comes for free these days. Yearly membership is a reasonable £25, and the entrance fee is an equally amenable further £25, so your first visit is £50, for all that the club has to offer, it is good value for money and if memory serves, cheaper than our previous visit.
The Club
As we had an existing membership already in place and we still had the card so a call to the club resulted in a swift response from Craig, the club manager to tell us, rejoining again would be no problem after such a long absence, so we didn’t have to bring any ID but for your first visit, make sure you do. The club is located in an old bank and is on three levels, plus a terrace out the back. When you first arrive, you will come straight into the main ground floor lounge. It is divided into the long bar at one end, a seating alcove on the left (Where the bar use to be on our last visit) and there are another twenty or so tables with lamps are in the first part of the lounge, adjoining this is the dance floor which is bordered by a small stage with dance pole and the DJ box. Further seating surrounds the dance floor on two sides and is handy for enticing lap dancing. Through a door off to the left past the alcove is the club wet area, containing the lockers for your clothes and valuables, showers, a uni-sex toilet, urinal, steam room and sauna. Turning left through this space leads to the plunge pool on the right, a warm shallow pool with seating for approximately 30-40 people (Yes we are sure more have tried to fit in it in the past!) Back in the main lounge adjacent to the DJ box is an exit that leads outside to an open terrace out back for smokers. Since the change in the law, smoking areas (Or lack them) have been a major headache for those that indulge, not so here. There is a huge open space and a covered heated area, both outside, so if you smoke, you can do so in relative comfort (and warmth) at LC. Stairs from outside also lead up the fire escape to the second level, there is also the main stair case going up to the next floor by the dance floor. Another toilet is located by the stairs to the basement, make sure it’s pointed out to you, it’s easy to miss. On the first floor is a maze of play rooms all leading off from the central corridor, where you can also chill out on some sofas. The décor of each room is very different. Several of them have viewing ports where you can watch couples playing on the raised bed areas. Each room has a slightly different theme, some are darker and more private than others. There is also a room with portals for poking things through and a couple of lockable private rooms. The rooms were cool and well aired. There is plenty of room up here to watch and be watched. There are also two more toilets here, a ladies and gents. On the ground floor via a steep set of stairs from the main lounge is the basement, well dungeon, and boy does it look like one. Every contraption known to man (and woman) is located down here, from Slings, to crosses, to restraint chairs and more. It is a fetishist’s playground of delights and has a suitably dark décor to add to the atmosphere. There is also a grope room, a couple more private rooms and a lot of space for people to play.
The Night
We were fortunate to have met via the net one of the regular couples from the club (Thanks to Paul and Carol) who arranged for us to meet them at the local boozer over the road. The regulars were a friendly bunch and though we don’t think they knew quite what to make of us, we thought they were all lovely. (Thanks for that Umbrella Julie!) Craig, the club manager showed us round once he got the chance and was very helpful throughout the night. La Chambre has come under criticism in the past for being especially cliquey, we tackled this in 2004 and will reiterate our view again firmly here, that we think such a view is bulls**t, in addition to the regulars we met in the pub, people could not have been more friendly. It is quite normally for people to feel more comfortable speaking to people they know, but the regulars do make a point of being on the look out for new people to make them feel welcome, and we saw few, if anyone being ignored and left alone looking uncomfortable. La Chambre is no cliquier than any other club we have been too, in fact, in comparison to many others it is far less so. Certainly Craig would be more than happy to introduce you to some regular clubbers if you want to break the ice. There is no pressure to play here either. So the regulars won’t kidnap you and tie you up in the dungeon (Unless that’s your thing in which case the couple with all the piercings we met will probably jump at the chance….) We met loads of nice people and the DJ was excellent, good at getting people in the mood and playing a wide range of tunes to suit every ones taste, he also did a good job on requests too. (I gave him a personal booty shake to say thanks) The club was not at its busiest when we went (to be expected the schools had just broken up, holidays etc) with around 35 to 40 couples present at a guess. Ages, looks and types of people were all the usual mix. One couple we met were 20 and 23 and were club regulars. (Thanks to my recent short hair cut I probably looked about 12 even though I’m 24!) There was a good atmosphere and the dance floor soon filled up and later we were all treated to a re-enactment of the dance from the Full Monty by some very brave regulars (This was a scream) but it also soon emptied again where as on our previous visit there was a mix of people up and downstairs most of the night but then it was much busier on that occasion. Later there was a rather impromptu blow job competition that took place on the dance floor, which took us rather by surprise! (‘Well this is a first!’ commented some older members) There was plenty of playing going on but we didn’t do much of that ourselves as one of us liked the playrooms here and other did not (See below) The club has a licensed bar and drinks were reasonably charged at pub prices, staff were friendly and helpful and the door security were subtly placed and unobtrusive (Plus they had good manners, a contrast to some other venues elsewhere on the scene.) The club has a lot to offer, the smokers shack is real social area which almost made me regret having given up (Almost), people were friendly and everyone seemed to have a good time. Also for Fetish enthusiasts one can’t imagine a better equipped club to the task.
Criticisms.
Asha – The carpet surrounding the dance floor was extremely sticky and black in colour (Not its original from what I could see) and is in a severe need of change. Cleanliness in the club was good but I still felt it could have been better and this was one of the reasons I wasn’t so keen to play there. I didn’t like the playrooms, though Alex will disagree, but for me I found the upstairs too claustrophobic and not conducive to making me want to leap on the nearest bi girl (Which was a shame because there were quite a few I could have happily done that too) This is purely a question of taste, but those rooms weren’t for me. I felt the upstairs was tired in places and parts of it could do with refurbishment and too much of it was too dark, though I know some people love that. The dungeon was cold and smelled damp to me, for some that would probably add to the atmosphere, but for me it was off putting, the pool had problems too but I will Alex comment on that, seeing bits floating in it and grazing my leg knocked that one on the head for me. We used the showers afterwards and they were rather tepid so say the least. Don’t get the wrong idea from these points because there was a lot I liked about the club, especially the people in it and the music, but I think it could do with refit as much of it looked and felt old, this is purely my opinion and I think new comers and old hands alike will love the club so don’t let my criticisms over shadow the positive things we mentioned earlier.
Alex – Mine are few. I personally think the playrooms are great, fun and exciting though perhaps some could do with a spruce up. I agree with Asha on the carpet by the dance floor, my shoes actually came off because they were stuck on it at one point! We tried the plunge pool later in the night, as it seemed the playrooms were off the menu, (women have all the power etc) but no sooner as I had sat down, I cut my hand on the seating shelf, not once but twice. We were told that it had been partially finished with a new seal added recently and was still being resolved, Asha also grazed her leg the same way, and we noticed all around that part of the pool the seat ledge was as sharp as ‘Paul’s humour.’ Not ideal and not very safe. We didn’t bring any towels and though available behind the bar, £2 each for their use seemed a bit steep and normally such things are complimentary. We can appreciate towels probably go missing but still….
There isn’t really any food to speak of at La Chambre, this didn’t bother us as we don’t like to eat when playing, so for us not a problem, but worth mentioning that you should get a bite before you go. I am not sure if this last point is a criticism as much as it was just an observation but while the women were dressed up and sexy in every way possible, the men in contrast seemed to be dressed in everything from smart trousers and shirts to hoodies, jeans, t-shirts and even trainers in a couple of cases. That seemed a bit lax to us as dressing to impress always seemed to be part of the night out when going to a club on the scene. Asha and others are also right, the club needs a really good clean and more bins should be available around the club even just for chewing gum, at least that way it won’t end up on the carpets.
Despite the points listed above La Chambre is still a great club and the changes since our last visit were all for the better, but there is still room for some improvement and the pool area could perhaps be re-fitted out with a newer water feature, as it seems old and a little dated, this is just a thought. With competition in this market stronger than ever before, the older clubs can’t afford to take their eye off the ball. Obviously you cannot please all of the people, all of the time and one shouldn’t try to do so but pleasing as many as possible is a good start and it will only require a little brushing up to do that here. La Chambre can still out rank many of the clubs on the scene but it will have to fight the good fight if it wants to remain in that position and some of the younger clubs are all vying for the top spots.

Awesome club.... we went on a Saturday night (couples night), very warm welcome put us at ease straight away as we'd never been to a club before, very clean, very lively, naughtiness going on in every corner by the time we left.. can't wait to go again! no hassle no pushy people just great sex with some very sexy couples xxx

Yes like some of the reviews say it is like a disco but with the added benefit of being able to swing .. how many times have you been in a night club and thought god I really fancy a shag well at la chambre this you can do... Many people go have a few drinks have a dance play around on the pole then go off and have a play. Yes you do get the couples that go and watch but isn't that part of swinging? You have people who watch, people who play on there own and people who play with others. At la Chambre you get all these people. The difference with here is that it is not expected that you go in havea drink at the bar and bugger off a shag a stranger here people get to know each other and take it from there. As for the comment about the ugly blokes with trophy gold digging girlfriends ... how wrong where you!! We have been going for around 3 years now and try to go once a month and never ever have i ever seen anything like that ever!! So i guess you were looking at the wrong place!

Le Chambre is a very nice looking club and the management are excellent.
However, that's where the joy ends of Le Chambre, because it is no more of a swinging club than your average nightclub. It certainly has a high selection of attractive couples but it's primarily ugly middle aged men in with their gorgeous trophy gold-digging girlfriends, who want nothing more than to be 'seen' having sex with a fit girl.
Most of the couples don't swing and also can be extremely rude when approached by other couples in the most friendliest manner.
Unfortunately, it's just a place for a lot of exhibitionists to hang out and other couples to stand around fully clothed, huddled together like commuters in a packed tube train staring in through the windows at the couples that DO actually go there to swing.
By the way, don't expect any action whatsoever until it's almost closing time. Don't know why.

Went on a Saturday night as a couple and would only recommend going to this club if you are into Discos etc, luckily we have been to Cupids and Partners before La Chambre.
Craig was brilliant to show us around and it was a themed cowboy night - agree with some other comments as the dancefloor was taken up by the regulars dressed as cowboys etc and didnt vacate the dancefloor until they got tired! So 90% of the night consisted of loud music and cowboy games on the dancefloor which was ok but we had travelled over an hour for a swingers club?
As far as the swinging scene was concerned i found that a lot of people didnt participate at all and sat in the bar area - i think this may have been due to couples arriving and expecting more of a swinging scene but were overawed by the disco experience.
We went upstairs to find a lot of people fully clothed - for example 1 couple having sex in a room consisted of 10 couples crammed into a small space taking a peek! Looked more like a zoo than a swinging experience due to too many wanna be swingers allowed to look around at any bit of nookie taking place (A bit like looking at the girls through the windows in Amsterdam).
We decided to go in a private room (No locks), and at least twenty times the door opened with a mans head peering round the corner which i found annoying - they could have bloody come in and watched but stop opening the bloody doors please, theres a draft!
Then a young girl was pushed in the room (Newbies)by her man friend who hastily ran out, eventually they came in ten minutes later - got cold feet and scarpered.
I feel La Chambre is more of a night club with swinging facilities. Too many voyeurs and too many nosy parkers making the swinging scene at the club secondary to the disco / club atmosphere.
Left our private room with 1 couple having sex in 1 of the bigger rooms and this was late on, although there may have been approx 100 couples i expect only 40% were true swingers with only 10% having sex on the night. Very difficult to communicate with people when disco is in full swing.

Having tried many clubs we still end up going back to what we consider to be the best!!! We travel 2 hours to get there but thas cause we are guaranteed a very very good night! Everything makes it the cheap bar, the party games, the wonderful dj and fantastic staff. Not forgetting all the couples who are guaranteed to be there week in week out, you are almost guaranteed to have 100 couples in on a saturday night!!! Long Live La Chambre!

great club now, the owners seem to have sorted out the over aggressive single bloke problems chasing women.Also the doormen are no longer following women around on couples nights and hanging around the booths. Really relaxed atmosphere now, great stuff, well done the owners!

We have been trying to arrange a trip to this club for a while, now, and we have sent three messages on their site -- they have a form that one can fill out for questions -- simply trying to ask which Premier Travel Inn appears on their map. (The map appears to be misleading in scale, and the address that their website gives confuses Google maps...) They have never responded to any of the questions, as simple as they would be to answer. We also have tried sending a message to the email address that appears on their website (and on Swingingheaven's website), and our message comes back saying that the address is no good.
When a place gives such flimsy (really, non-existent) customer service before one even arrives, one has to ask what things will be like if one ignores the question of accommodation and arrives...

we went 22/12/07, xmas party(couples only)the bar & dancefloor area was full of people ages varying from 20's to 60's.lots of sexy ladies in fancydress, made it a great atmosphere, at about midnight couples start to go upto the ample playrooms, where you can play alone, join other couples or just watch the fun, whatever takes your fancy, there is no pressure. we have been members 3 years & have enjoyed some great nights, even on what you could call a quiet night there is a good number of couples in. frieindly, relaxed atmsphere, well worth a try

hi i went on a friday night and it was singles and couples.I went with a guy who is a past fb but sometimes we still play.
When we went in i felt totally at ease the guy showed us around and we thought the place was fab..plenty of rooms different and also a few private rooms as well. After a dance on the pole with another female and a couple of drinks(mate was driving) we went upstairs and watched for a few mins but i wanted to join in so went in the playroom,loads of fun...i was then having fun in other rooms,private rooms it was fab..went to th pool and relaxed after and enjoyed being in the pool naked surounded by younger sexy males. what a good night will go again asap.....

Weve been going to La Chambre for about 6 weeks and thought we would give some comment
At first, we went on a Saturday Evening (Couples Only) and found it interesting. The thing that puzzled us most was the number of couples who sit in the Bar Area and dont take part. Equally odd was the couple who came in together then seperated, lady sat in bar and guy on prowl, perhaps not true couples and a guy hoping to get an invite to join
Weve gone on a Sunday Afternoon again couples only till 6.... best described as relaxing and great sexy fun. At 6 single guys get in, weve stayed for a hour or 2 and yes weve played with other couples, but have let guys join in... especially in the twilight room
Went last nite to Bi niight, very disappointing.... loads of guys on their own and 3 other couples...one single bi girl (who we did enjoy a little fun with). The other couples just stood chatting and didnt seem to want to have fun. We put on a show in the Couple Room and got compliments at the end.... does your ego good
We were puzzled...... all these supposedly bi guys (my chap is straight)... but every where we went they followed and they certainly wernt interested in my chap.... Think most of them just wanted female and thought BI night might be there chance

La Chambre is well worth a visit, not the most upmarket setting but the staff are fantactic... we felt like incomers at first after chatting to the staff now were enjoy going and relaxing.

Again would like to comment on La Chambre. We went on Friday evening, not knowing what to expect, as we'd read all the reviews etc and all differed..the only way to find out we felt was to go and see for ourselves.
We had been previously on Saturday night only, but really wanted MMF/MMMF fun.
On this particular couples/singles night, there were plenty of couples nicely balanced out by single guys.
We did not feel at all intimidated (we thought we might) by any single guys, and ALL behaved
impeccably.
We will be making Fridays at La Chambre our regular swinging venue, as we felt totally relaxed & at home, and had lots of fun there.
We would highly reccomend giving this place a try.

We went to La Chambre saturday 27 October. The facilities are great, clean & plenty of playrooms, good bar prices, very helpful & friendly, polite staff. We only wish we had gone to this club sooner, only the membership fee put us off incase we didnt like the place, but its well worth it. Car parking facilities are directly accross the road from the club, and security were present keeping an eye on cars all night. The place is very spacious compared to other places we have been to, and on this particular night a good age range of attracive people having fun. A special thankyou to the DJ who was very welcoming, informative and friendly :)
For smokers there is a large outdoor heated space with seating.
We have been swinging for 5 years now, and will definately be back again.
Only wish we had gone to this club sooner.

A fantastic club with lots and lots of couples every week to chose from. No single men on a Saturday night. Very clean, fantastic atmosphere. Every time we've been there always seems to be lots of new couples joining so they must be doing something right. We have tried endless clubs trying to get something like this closer to home and failed miserably. Craig, Barry, Marie & Charley(dj) keep up the very good work.

We have been visiting club a while now and the place is going down hill fast, no direction or management and is being taken over by clicky groups of members. This place is now like a social club full of a group of regulars acting as though they own the club. Age group at this club seems to rise every month.

We visited last night for the first time(13/07/07)
a Friday mixed night and what a fantastic night we had, the facilities are clean and fresh, the bar prices are resonable and the lounge area was comfortable, the music was at a comfortable level which still allowed for conversation without having to shout at everyone and the staff were polite, friendly and very welcoming.
The play areas are subtely lit and the viewing windows allow for those who just like to watch without disturbing those in the rooms playing.
We would just like to say thank you to those who joined us last night.
We will be returning to this club and soon we hope, and as we live in teesside it was a long journey but one which we thought was worth the effort.

We visited this club last night with friends for the first time (13/07/07) it was a Friday mixed night and we had a great evening, the staff were polite and friendly, the tour of the facilities was very informative and the general rules were explained.
The playrooms were large and the lighting was at the right level for us, the viewing windows provided a oppurtunity to see what was happening in the rooms without entering and disturbing those inside, however , we did have one or two of the guys sat on the platform giggling whislt we played which we found a bit disrespectful but when asked to leave the room they went without comment. For those guys who joined us thank you for a fun filled evening.
The club has a resonably priced bar with a good selection of drinks available, and the seating in the lounge is comfortable.
We will be returning to this club which takes us over an hour to drive to, so we must have enjoyed it.

we went to the club on last saturday in may for first time and in particular because we knew yhere would be no single men harrassing us.wow...totally fab,horny, freindly,clean.the list goes on.met some really nice people.it was very much like having a good night out except with an orgy at the end of it!lol.there was no pressure whatsoever and we could not believe the cross section of people who were there and all nice people we will add. we would recommend it to anyone

Good stuff;
Staff were very friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was great with the DJ playing great sounds.
Not so good stuff;
Lack of usable toilets.Dark play area entrances did nothing for my nervous partner's confidence.All in all upstairs needs a big revamp with improved lighting and decor.At this time it appears a bit Seedy.
Although smart casual dress was stated on the L.C website with jeans not acceptable we found that jeans were worn by many. If any attire is ok apart from perhaps soiled work clothes and muddy boots then LC should state it on the website.
The whole Friday night experience for us as a new couple to LC
has put us off nights that have single males allowed in.
To be fair to LC we will try a Saturday night there before commenting further.
We feel dissapointed about the club after our 1st visit.

First visit recently. a good range of people go, different age groups.Exciting atmosphere. The bar staff are great,shame about the pervy doormen who seem to be getting on a lot of peoples nerves wanking upstairs and hanging around the rooms. One of the better clubs.

Much better this time round.
Went for the second time to LC's bi night and found it much better this time. Still hasn't any condoms, condom vending or stuff like that which does make me feel uneasy. But most people seem to have come prepared. Early evening still had the wandering round of many guys with no-one wanting to start off. However with much more people it seemed a lot livelier than before but still not packed to make you feel chlostrophobic (if thats how you spell it??)

11/04/2007 - Been members for 3 years and the facilities have continued to be improved during that time. We've had nights where we have and nights where we haven't swung - sometimes its clicky sometimes not. Went around xmas and again last w/e - horrified at how dirty the place has become, the facilities might be great but the place if really filthy. Thick layers of dust in all the playrooms and toilets. MALE MEMBER OF STAFF WANKING ALL NIGHT IN THE PEEP ROOM(ON A COUPLES ONLY NIGHT). Barry and Marie and their son Craig are always great hosts but the place is definitely going downhill. Not sure we would go back.

Firstly thanks to Swinging heaven for introducing me to this club. It is a fantastic club with plenty of space and really nice friendly people working there. I went and had a good time watching (not many couples in fact 80% of the time the couples just sat around chatting), safe sex really isn't provided and I didn't see anyone there with a condom so I didn't feel safe.

Good club but lacks a bit of privacy. We went on Saturday. Its a little offputting to look up and see people staring, some of whom never seem to get involved in anything other than gorping through the many windows. Really annoying when what turned out to be cleaners, where stood for ages at the window making sarcastic comments about womens arses etc. This aside its a good club with a good mixture of people.Some of the staff probably need to be more considerate or piss off and get a job at the local Zoo.

Chose New Year's Eve for our first visit. Was told that we were in for a baptism of fire (you have to start somewhere though lol!!!!)
How was it? Fantastic! The club's atmosphere was great, it was clean (an especially great achievement on the busiest night of the year) there was no cliques, and the staff when they saw we were new to the club went out of their way to show us round everywhere in detail even though it was NYE and packed.
Friendly, clean, comfortable, well equipped....... we've just pencilled in when we are next going!!!!
This is by far the best club we've visited for overall experience.

recently become members and LC is our first experience of a club. Our Impression? It is absolutely fantastic. Staff are really friendly to put newbies at ease and the atmosphere is totally relaxed, at least on a Saturday when we have been. No pressure from anyone to do anything, we went at our own pace. Also club is extremely clean and always been very busy when we have been there. Saturday night is couples only and ideal for newbies who might be a bit nervous about going the first time. We went and cant understand why we didn't go sooner!! Virtually everyone we speak to has said that LC is the best club around. Can't wait for the next visit.

We went to the club about a month ago on a Saturday night for the 1st time.
I had to put on this after reading the last review which we didn't agree with . We have now visited 5 clubs in the UK . Most clubs have their good and bad points but overall La Chambre was very good.
We found all areas of the club clean and tidy. The bar area had a really good atmosphere.
The staff were very friendly, we thought it was very busy and got talking to loads of couples all of who said that this was a quite night.
We had an excellent evening.
If I had to complain about anything the light in the playroom we were in was slightly too bright.
We are going back in the next couple of weeks and are really looking forward to it.
We've always found it a good idea to give all clubs more than one visit as they are different every time we go.

We have tried 4 different clubs in various regions of England and this is by far THE WORST. The decor upstairs is really nice but there is only one private room. The public playrooms had used condoms left all over the place, not a bin in sight.
Downstairs was even worse, the floor was sticky, I hope it was from booze.
It costs £25 membership for cpls and £25 to get in. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

To C and S, my partner and I have been members for nearly a year and have been about 4 times on a saturday nights, we're new to swinging and were very nervous about it,but the welcome you get at the club is outstanding they even take the time to show newbies around to make you feel at ease. I have to agree with the comment on here about the dungeon it does seem to be a bit social down there at times, but all in all we think it's ok, the last time we went we were in a room with about 4 or 5 other couples and it just got fantastic. My girlfriend ended up giving me a brilliant show with an absolute stunner called Vicki. It's a really cool place, give it another go. I feel quite confident you'll enjoy it. As to the comment on here about safe sex, we practice it and so do a lot of the other couples. It's really up to you if you want to take the risk isn't.

We are not regulars at the club, as it is so far away from us, but can recommend it and if it opened late I am sure there was a reason, as for the security, once the club opens they are always dressed smartly on the ocasions we have been there and have no problems. We suggest you give the place another try. The inside is excellent, the club looks deliberately non chalont from the outside to keep friendly with the locals. You will not be disappointed. Just got back from our evening at la chambre and have to say we were VERY impressed. It was my wife and i's first atempt at anything like this and had origianlly gone merely to people watch from the bar. After a great introduction from Steve (Thanks!) we spent a little while at the bar before taking the plunge and visiting the pool. Things really took off from there and before long we were chatting with a lovely couple (keith and julie a big thanks) who put us very mcuh at ease and helped us enjoy some great adult fun! The evening flew by so quick and the 2 hour journey home was probably the best road trip ever, we had to keep stopping for sex every 10 miles because emma was still so horny! Will be going again next week (4/03/06)and hope to see evryone again...will get in the pool quicker next time...

we have been members now for just over five yrs [god has it really been that long, its flown!!] We've seen quite a few changes in that time, some for the better. The club is warm, welcoming, friendly & fun. I really enjoy dressing up in a raunchy, sexy manner that you can only get away with at a place like this, & recently had a few compliments that i do appreciate greatly, as i try to stay in shape, but am not getting any younger! There are certain things however i would like to suggest, the touch/feely box in the dungeon does not seem to get used much. This could be either because its not noticed, i feel it needs peoples attention drawing to it, by perhaps lighting it up in some way? [it also needs mending inside] SORRY to hear that Marie is quite ill, hope you get well SOON, and we see you both back at the helm!! P.S. More good singer impersonaters would be good as a change from G.M. (eg a robbie williams guy is about somewhere?

Went Saturday night 11/2/06 for the first time to this club and arrived at 9.30pm and upon arriving there were 4 blokes dressed in scruffy jeans & trainers trying to open the security shutter, ppl were arrriving by taxi and just walking away round the block instead of being seen outside on the main road.We thought that this was suppose to be a professionally run club(first impressions didn't show this in anyway looked more like a working mens club or seedy strip club from outside)and it wasn't what we expected and decided to save the £30 entrance fee and get our kicks elsewere.In future we'll be going to the Liberty Elite instead. Sorry but Le Chambre was very dissappointing to us. If the outside was like that then whats the inside like

We have been members for 3 years and think it is fantastic. Just been on saturday nights and they are a lot of fun. The best club we've been to. Everyone very polite and nice. Highly reccomend to both beginners and experienced swingers.

We've been a few times now and I'd definitely recommend it for experienced swingers and newbies alike. Try the couples only nights/days first though if you can.

we are paul x carol from sheffield, we are into our 5th year now and go every week unles we are on our hols, dedicated members we are, we love the club and all the staff they feel like family to us now, when people ask where di u go on sat we say to the local lol,well it is to us. i have read some of the reviews from others and all i can say is all you that came to the club years ago come back and have a look now wow wha ta fantasic place, the new bar is fantasic much bigger and looks good to. the pool are looks more inviting now its been done up, the dugeon still as the same disired affect but alot warmer and more inviting, thats where you will find us as craig will say to the new members these are part of the furniture so come sit on it lol only jokeing but feel free to come and chat we dont bite it might look a bit scarey a few people sitting chatting and haveing a laugh we like to just chill out b4 the night starts we will always make people feel welcome to sit with us we are no different to you are anyone else we are just regular couples that come and meet up so feel free to come and chat. as for up stairs well there is more staff now and they are always on the ball if some thing is rong up there. the new privert room looks more inviting so its a nice place to go if u want a bit of privacy plus the new play room with the holes in the wall well craig what can i say u have a briliant imagination lol. if you are new to swinging and thinking of going get yaself there you will wounder what made u not go sooner and you will come back i know you will lol its a place you will get addicted to like us. we always recomend the club to people we meet along the way and they all love it. but a big thanks go to barrie and marie and all of there lovely staff who make us feel welcome every week. c u all saturday.xxx

We are Bi Couple from Lincoln who have been visiting the club for last 5 years off & on , been on every night (even the Monday s - keep em!WE say )and never been disapointed . Great the "no smoking" rules upstairs is working with the odd notice around to remind people of it . Cant understand People complaining about to many voyeur s around in their posts -very strange call that !!! come on get real! Staff walking around at times is always welcome just in case of trouble but never seen any and they always working in an professional manner. We are not a Pushy Couple and find the club suits us great , the best in the U.k , and maybe we have had the odd male following us around but no real problems . Saturdays are busy and we have had many good times but also it nice just to sit back & people watch and when its the ladys "call " what can we males do but listen to them. if your thinking about it try it" but put sme ground rules down 1st. Cheers!!!!!!

we thought we would have to share our experiance of this WONDERFULL club,we visited on the 11-12 of november05 we would reconmend it to anyone that wants a nice friendly, full of attractive people type of club. we carnt wait to go again well done all the staff. 10/10. x
