We are Emma and Stuart... The new hosts at Buddies. As we were customers before we started hosting we would just like to say that buddies is a fantastic swingers hotel. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere kept us going back week after week and we had lots of sexy fun with some great people. Now that we are hosting we have made a few changes including new decor in the rooms and are currently redecorating the bar area. we would love to see lots of you sexy swingers down there soon. We promise you will have a great time. take care Emma and stuart xx

Your Reviews of Buddies Hotel Swingers Club

8th Jan 2012 - 4:56pm
Visited saturday 7th january 2012, A great and very friendly place, i think we will become regulars here ! well worth a visit, Beth and Frank as soon as we arrived where both friendly, accomodating and keen to make us comfy, thus allowing us to enjoy there company as well as the other couples and guys we met throughout the evening. having a licensed bar was an added bonus and drinks all at regular bar prices, so great to see no inflated or rip off drink prices, every one here where all down to earth and friendly people with the right attitude for making sure the night goes well, we met some nice couples and look forward to meeting again soon. Centrally based in the heart of blackpool and all in all a great value for money stay. keep up the good work and we will see you next month. Lorraine & Ian xx

What can i say hotel looked nice on outside when was given key to room it went downhill fast was small double room not much room bed you could feel all the springs so was not nice bed tv did not work when i told them said all tvs were going to be taken out, bathroom was cramped fan did not work and toilet was fun of s..t from someone else, then at night time on the friday was told its a meet and greet night so you get to know other people and sat night was the fun night all i can say is seen more fun in my local club pub and working mans club than there what swinging that went on was behind closed doors in rooms so i will not be going there again and would say to you do not go

Visited a few months ago with the intention of staying overnight and ended up coming home instead. The guy was good enough to give us our money back but the place was smokey beyond belief and the rooms were simply dingy, damp smelling and horrible. His comment was - well, it is a Swingers hotel - what do you expect.
Unfortunately this type of seedy, creepiness is all to prevelant with UK swinging clubs/hotels and we find ourselves going less and less and instead saving up for European adventures rather than slumming it in places like this. If this is a "swingers hotel" then we are not swingers by any stretch of the imagination.

Just spent a weekend at Buddies and the smoke inside was even too much for smoking friends who were there. They seriously need to look at the smoke problem before they loose all their customers totally.

Just had a Frid night at Buddies.Wished I could have stayed all weekend.
Lots happening!Have been to a few other clubs but never had any action as a single bloke, but Buddies comes op trumps most times-certainly it did last Frid!
If the lovely couple(no names mentioned) read this WOW WOW-even the fire alarm going off spoil the fun.Thanks. Tony

Just returned from a weekend at Buddies. Have visited clubs and hotels both in the UK and overseas - this has been the worst yet! If you are a non smoker avoid this place at all cost!! Granted it only cost £70 per couple for the weekend, however we will pay more next time to avoid the possibility of lung cancer by passive smoking!! Uncomfortable beds, poor decor.....the lists goes on!! The owner uses colourful language which may offend. He runs the hotel as he sees fit, however I am certain there are rules about smoking indoors both in the bar arae and dining room, even whilst guests are eating, a hotel/club to be avoided!!!

just spent the weekend at buddies end of feb 2010 (school girl night). all we can say is what nice people run this hotel, inc ian, stewart& emma, frank and beth.its the best 70 quid we have ever spent, the hotel is very clean (rooms as well) fresh sheets and towels as you would expect in any blackpool hotel, not as previous reviews say. we are looking forward to booking again in the near future as we enjoyed it very much and the hotel was full

Hi, We just spent the w/e at Blackpool and went to another club, however we intend to have a revisit for another weekend after the new year and would like to sample other clubs whilst we have the opportunity. However as we are non smokers and avoid any passive smoking of any type, we are naturally concerned about some of the comments on this review, we would be grateful if could you clarify what the policy is re smoking at your hotel in order to give us an informed choice of clubs to visit.

Thanks
P n J xxx

Been there three times and had a good laugh, with Ian ,Frank & Beth trying keep everyone happy and welcome.Forget the dumb reviews and gret REAL folks!!Two people stay for £70 for a weekend including a nice brekkie...thats £17.50 a night pp !!It may not be the poshest hotel in Blackpool, but its certainly one of the friendliest and there no pressure to play or not to play,so give it a go...Some people are just off thier trolleys when they critisise Ian...like to see them running the hotel any better on his budget..lets all pay £200 for a weekend then we can demand Five star otherwise get REAL!!

As the hostess at Buddies Hotel, I find the below review extremely offensive, and would advise other swingers to disregard it! Cleanliness is our top priority at Buddies and only true swingers who have actually been to the hotel will know that this is nonsence and is obviously someone who either hasnt been to the club at all and leaves reviews as a favour to rival clubs or someone who did come to the hotel and didnt "play" and decided to take it out on the place itself rather than themselves and the lack of personality.
Thanks

This swinging club is a joke. As non smokers they flout the no smoking law we found it difficult as the air was so heavy with smoke. there is no smoke alarms. The rooms were disgusting. The toilet had skid marks on from the previous 2/3 people. The shower didnt work and again was dirty as was the sink, i had to buy some disinfectant wipes it was that bad. The club itself was heavy with smoke it really affected our breathing, even whilst eating breakfast he had a fag dangling from his mouth whilst he served!!!!!!! saying that though we met some good friends and had some fun I WONT BE GOING BACK.. i'm not a snob just working class this place needs pulling down.

We go to buddies every week and just love the place, unlike some places it is clean, friendly, and you only have to look at the regulars that go week in week out to know that its good. The hosts are fantastic and again unlike some do it because the love it and not because they see pound signs. The play rooms are what you would expect clean warm and made to have fun in ,you also have your room to play in,obviously you cant please everyone some people think it should be the ritz but come on lets keep it real at £70 B&B for the weekend per couple what more do you want.
Keep up the good work guys we love it

As a non smoker we found the dont give a shit attitude to the smoking laws typical of of the rest of the "hotel". The room was very small and the shower didnt work. The play rooms are a joke and we wouldnt vist there again if it were free. There are some nice clubs in Blackpool try one of those.

buddies hotel what can we say. great place to visit the staff are friendly and will go out of there way to help. The licenced bar is great dont have to bother with bringing your own like many other clubs. The rooms are clean and tidy. its a must place to try. its not the hilton hotel the rooms are like most b&bs in blackpool. it good value for money. £80 for the weekend with entry to a swingers club, you cant get any better than that. there is even a small resturant in the hotel we you can get a evening meal.

we most definetely agree with peter

Stayed over Sat night (16/5/09). Disappointing really - although the people there (both staff and guests) were very friendly, sexy, attractive and approachable, the bedrooms are tiny and very much in need of redecoration, and the play facilities are limited. We both smoke, so that wasn't a problem, but I can see that non-smokers would find it very off-putting.

Cleanliness could have been a lot better, too.

We won't be going back.

28th Nov 2008 - 4:43pm
Been a few times now and compared to the other swinging hotel in Blackpool, this club has much better bedrooms, and levels of cleanliness. Yes it has smokers but the fans in the main rooms keep it fresh ( I am a fussy non smoker) Good groups of friendly people.
