Hi, we visited on fri 18th november, place was nice and clean and well decorated since our last visit, everyone was friendly but there just wasnt much action going on.... over the night there was prob six - eight couples , some of which didnt even move from the bar area, one couple sat in the lounge were in normal clothes and again didnt participate in any action.
Single males, probably about 20 minimum, who just followed us and another couple round all night, when i say followed, literally a train of them behind you, so much so they practically got stuck as its so narrow by the dark room downstairs, simply far too many males. Some males didnt speak english, mrs liked the idea of 2 male friends she liked the look of, but we couldnt communicate with them in what we wanted as they barely spoke english. We had fun with one guy and then waited for some action in couples room but it was just very slow considering it was a 'theme' night.
Although the club was clean and pleasant etc (despite what other people say), we were disappointed with the night as we had been looking forward to it for a long time, we have been before and had some fantastic nights and some ok nights, this was a let down unfortunatley.

cupids has a new Dogging room first in ant club we think,its open from 1pm till 12am now on sundays and has one or two new play areas and the Dark room is very popular we like the changes keep up the good work Colin the new manager

Hi, We've been to Cupids about lots of times (last 2 or 3 under the new management) and have always enjoyed ourselves immensely there.
We have always gone together, and quite a few times, we have just gone for the sauna. (although my wife usually finds something else to entertain her while we're there!)
Gets quite busy on party night, and the rooms can be left in a bit of a state, but that's more down to inconsiderate guests rather than the management.
Staff are friendly and help to maintain the relaxed air about the place.
Cons - OK, there are a few. The club needs to be open during the day on weekends (although it has started opening on Sundays from 1pm) - Especially Saturdays.
I Would also like a designated bisexual night (for the men, all women are bisexual anyway, everyone knows that!).
Despite the rules, single blokes always end up downstairs on Wednesday evenings (you are not allowed!!!), and I think the new management are turning a blind eye to these rules in case it deters some of the paying (single-men) guests.

We've been visiting Cupids for a few years, it changes a little every now and again but the changes are usually subtle and usually for the better.
However, there has recently been a Sea Change at Cupids, Glen and Mary no longer manage the club with the long time owners son 'Carl' (or Colin) now running the show. Glen & Mary appear to have left under a cloud but for the record we found Glen & Mary to be excellent hosts, they ran a very tight ship, were always friendly and without them I don't think Cupids would have retained it's spot as one of Northern Englands best swinging clubs, We have no desire to involve ourselves in the management change but recognition of Glen & Marys time served at Cupids should be given, we hope we've given some of that recognition.
To the review, we'd been in mid december 2010 but this was when the management was in the process of changing over, the bar staff were different, things were up in the air so we left reasonably early. We returned on Saturday Feb 19th 2011 arriving later than we usually do (this was because we'd visited Partners of Bury first ) getting to Cupids at 11.30pm. Entrance fee was the usual £20, no ID required for couples but is as usual required for single males.
Parking is easy and they have security that tend to keep an eye out on the cars parked around the club.
First thing we noticed was the stairway had had a paint job and when you got to the top of the stairs to pay we were greeted by the new owner who was friendly enough, there is a camera right on the reception for the purposes of snapshotting new members (single males)
The changing rooms are simply cubby holes with no locking facilities but again it does have a camera in there so there is some security to your belongings, we'd prefer small lockable lockers but it's never been any different at Cupids and we've never had anything go missing in all the time we've visited the club. As with most private clubs there is no drink licence so take your own alcohol which they keep refrigerated for you, soft drinks can be purchased at the bar.
The new owner is obviously keen to add his own changes and some of the decor in the bar area has been updated (for the better) and I seem to think some of the screens have been replaced (gone are the days of the old overhead projector they used to have..but that was a long time ago) The bar area is reasonably big, the dress code is the same througout the club, towel or shorts for the males and towels or lingerie for the females, good to see it hasn't changed. As is usual with Cupids the place was warm throughout, the private rooms both upstairs and down are private enough with lockable doors with just one of them having a viewing area, the newly appointed dungeon looks fun as does the small 'glory hole' cubicles. The couples room by the sauna has a dark viewing area and although not lit it does gain a little light from the already lowered lighting in the couples room, it works well. The jacuzzi isn't particularly big, it's been there for a while now but it's never overly populated anyway, probably only seating 4 anyway. The Sauna was excellent and you could add your own water (in moderation of course). Not sure I like the 'netted area' by the pool area, this would be better served as maybe a darkroom free for all (dimly lit). The private rooms were clean with some of them having full sized mirrors.
Cupids can be a bit hit and miss in as much as their can be an unhealthy ratio of single males to couples with single males being in the majority or close to but this wasn't apparent on this visit, the music was good and not too loud, the place was warm, the bar staff friendly and the atmosphere was pumped up a little, action was never far away, couples room, netted area, the seating area downstairs next to the large couches and the private rooms are always busy.
Jules felt at ease when she went on a wander by herself, she wasn't harassed or followed by droves of single males (which can sometimes happen) but she did stop and talk with a few and things progressed and we ended up leaving around 2.30 after a good amount of fun for the last hour.
Cupids I guess is our swinging spiritual home, we're sad that Glen and Mary have moved on and should they ever get themselves a club of their own or appointed somewhere else then we'll be sure to check them out but we'll also still visit Cupids 3 o4 4 times a year and on this occasion we had some seriously good fun.

Well where do we start about cupids.
The club is very friendly with lots of nice people we find it none clicky and can approach people. It is very clean and the staffs are very nice and helpful, the club has a new manager and he is very helpful and most of all listens to the customers. The club is having a face lift and is looking very good and we just love the new dungeon ooo and the swing. We have had lots of good times in cupids and many more to come we find the bar/lounge area a relaxing place to meet and chat and at the party’s its just perfect to meet area. So well done cupids keep up the good work. Can’t wait for the party this Friday and what a refreshing change no extra cost defiantly a place for party people.

Wow what a busy night in cupids we attended on sat the 8th jan the club was full very full.the club has lots of play areas to have fun club facilities are very good,very clean.
the atmosphere was great lots of dancing,chatting and playing going on not clicky like some of the clubs we have been to.we would recommend this club to all and definitly the partys,we had lots of fun xx

My wife and I travelled from Newcastle and attended this club for the first time on Sat25th Sept 2010. We believe the following review to be true and accurate and without prejudice. Upon arrival we were not shown around nor did we have any club rules explained to us.
The gents toilet was not working, and should have been taken out of order, but was not.
The décor throughout the main area is a little dated, a very 70s decorative style, perhaps a revamp may be in order.
The music was very good and at a good volume, you could hold an audible conversation without having to shout. The video screens were well placed and showed good quality movies, (some even had a story line).
Apart from the toilet issue the club was clean and in fairly good order.
The staff were friendly.
Some of the ladies who attended were very sexy and dressed for the part, for every couple in attendance there were an abundance of willing single males, this may or may not be of benefit to you. The couples room has a separate viewing room, which gets a little cramped at times, The couples room itself is quite small, clean and may benefit from being a little larger. (they have made good use of the space available).
The hot tub and sauna area is big enough for a club of this size, again good use of the space available, All in all the club is clean and pleasant, a little dated with a high volume of single males, the question is would we travel to visit this club again, the simple answer is “no” we would not make a special trip to revisit “Cupids”. But if we were staying in the Manchester again perhaps we may attend but only perhaps.

went on a tuesday did not like being given cards out by an escort on leaving the premisis couples room is to small and acts as a sauna its that hot - otherwise typical of north west swing club tacky but thats all we got !!

SalfordfunWent to Cupids for the first time last night and went as a couple with a friend on here. My first time at any club as have normally met in homes or hotel and was a bit apprehensive at going. As soon we got there all worries were put to rest. Found the staff really friendly and was given a full tour of all facilities and all rules explained in full. Found all the rooms clean and not too hot or cold. Really nice surroundings and nice friendly people. I would defiantly recommend to couples and i know ill be going back.

Visited Friday 7th may and to be honest had one of the best nights we have ever had at a club!!! - Was a little quieter than normal & whilst there were a number of single guys there - we did not get bothered unless we wanted them to... - ended up in a playroom with 3 fantastic guys(all strangers to each other - not a tag team - lol) - all extremely polite and knew what they were doing... We visit many clubs around the UK and rate Cupids as one of the best.... - see you all next time xxxx

shame but to many single guys, went nov 09 met a couple on sh thank god,jucussi not on or couldnt be botherd ,was best club by far a few years ago,?whats happend,why dont they make appointments with single guys,on phone first ?and do some work on the place,

Let me start by saying DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB!!!!! this is no exagiration this is the dankest dingiest seediest club I have been to and I have been to a few this makes infusions look like fun4two it is awful, we paid £30 to be letched and continuously followed by single guys a ratio of 5 single males to 1 cpl but felt like more. They dont leave you alone in there the place looks like an old toby jug carvery in desperate need of a revamp it would make better sense to knock it down and start again. we were there till 12 and we saw one cpl the same age as my granparents playing. So if you fancy a night out at a club take our warning and im not being harsh its the truth avoid at all costs.

we have to say, haveing visited as a couple a few times, the couples room has one large bed and everyone else sits around on the benches because there is no room on the bed once you get 3 couples on there, that does not make for sexy interaction between couples...otherwise a nice club

Naughtygalnhimhi, we have been going for some years now, and its one of the best looking clubs we been to. However on the last cpl of occasions we have to endure Hollyoaks and X factor on the big screen instead of the usual Porn. If i wanted to watch them id stay at home, or am i wrong..there wern't many people watching it, in-fact it was one of the staff who was watching the Hollyoaks on a Tues nite..
I have found that numbers are dwindling over the last couple of years,it used to have an hard core of members both cpls and singles but they seemed to have moved on, I cant put my finger on what the main reasons are. Maybe its the music, maybe its the to many changes, the cubicle rooms have been taken out downstairs and a lot of ppl used to enjoy them, the same with the singles darkroom overlooking the cpls room its now gone. Maybe it the being charged to exchange ur towel just because you have a shower , even though you have paid £20 to get in.
If anything needs to be updated its the wet area, if that ur thing...

Went to Cupids on Saturday 8 August with my friend Cat. Club quite busy - very hot and steamy - literally and metaphorically! Seriously, some rooms were too uncomfortably hot to stay in. Great crowd, though, very friendly. Action very hot and raunchy, especially in the Group Room - the Couples' Room was much more sedate! All-in-all a good night.

We went to Cupids Sat 27th June 09.
We have to say it has improved a lot since we last went, a lot roomier and and cleaner.
Even people that are there are happier, enough room for everyone and it is a good atmosphere.

I went on a Tuesday, there were a a good few people in there, the host were very nice, and the every one seemed to stick to the rules set out by the host, which is great to hear and know if your a couple. I went on my own, and I only have partners in Bury to compare it too, and I must say I was impressed. I was only there for a couple of hours, but within ten mins of arriving I was invited into a room with a nice couple and had some very nice fun (thanks hope to see you again soon)

always been happy with cupids but recently they have been altering it again ,but every alteration they do including the ones in the past seems to be for the worse and this is not just me talking it is most people i speak to ,take the new alterations which is on going they have took the dungeon out which is were most of the fun took place and what i can gather is they are making the lounge area bigger not needed also this has been going on for a month now , also 20quid for a couple in the week is over the top especially when you can go to another close by for a tenner need to listen to peoples needs as numbers are dropping, but still the best around just think how good it could be if they listened to what people wanted

We went on Saturday 29th March for the first time. All we can say is FANTASTIC. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and all the people in the club ere very friendly and polite. The facilities are excellent. One of the main points though was the single males which is what we are into. Well my wife is lol. Unlike another club that we have visited in Manchester, none of them followed you around like a pack of rampant dogs. They were very courteous and polite. Every single one acted like a gentleman. No one tried to touch unless invited. Unlike the other club i have just mentioned where we always end up just playing with each other because my wife is usually too put off to bother with anyone else. At cupids she was very relaxed to the point where she had no worries about walking round the club by herself to chat with people and see what was going on in the different areas. And because she was so relaxed we met a really nice guy who she had fun with. He was well mannered and very respectful. So thanks to you if your reading this. This club is a credit to the people who run it and also a credit to the couples and singles who visit. You all make it what it is. This club is exactly what a swingers club should be. You can do as much or as little as you want without feeling intimidated and you know that if your an exhibitionist you can get down to having fun without worrying that someone is going to try and join in without being invited. All the other clubs in the area could learn one hell of a lot from cupids because the owners have got it bang on. As iv said the people were great and there were also some very good looking people there also. So if you have never been to a club before but have been contemplating going to one. Look no further because this is the place to be. We will defo be going back again and again. Keep up the good work.
