Cupids Swingers Club

Went to cupids this weekend, after wanting to visit the club for years, only the 2 hour drive there had been putting us off, but finally we made it, and what can we say...big let down really!
Although the staff are very friendly and it is the cleanest club we have visited, with easy parking and security keeping an eye on cars outside, it is lacking any atmosphere here. There were plenty of couples and single males attended on this particular night, but no action apart from a few in couples room, people preferring to stand around other playroom doors waiting for something to happen (which never did!) We do enjoy the social side of swinging, but I'm afraid this club came over as just another social club.
Didn't like the changing rooms, there are no lockers, just open boxes with hangers in, and only a very small box (sandwich box) provided for valuables and kept behind bar so I ended up carrying my bag around with me all evening.
This club I could imagine being a good club...but there seems to be a lot missing...atmosphere & genuine swingers.
Sorry cupids, but wouldn't return, even if we lived only a mile away.

This is our favourite club. The Saturday night Halloween Party was excellent. Fantastic atmosphere and two great acts, the male stripper was amazing. We visit this club sometimes on Saturday nights and find it absolutely amazing for our needs .... seeking single males. Although we never venture into the couples area other than to view it ias always packed to the raffters (which speaks volumes for the club's appeal). We are always made to feel very welcome and single males are very respectful, we always have a great time when we visit and love the dark atmosphere.

we usually go to partners but thought we would try cupids for achange, we went on a wednesday night 29/10.
there were about 6 single guys in and only one other couple, we didnt click with anyone so we played by ourselves.
BUT it was wednesday and we half expected it to be quiet...it was just a little too quiet.
Now the important stuff, Everyone undresses before entering the club, which is a really good idea, The club is the cleanest club we have ever visited, which is so refreshing, good decor throughout, lots of playrooms, all clean, with tissues available.
The hosts are very friendly and polite, and have strict rules regarding behaviour of single guys, and to be honest we had pleasant onversations with everyone in the club ( okay there wasnt many ) the single guys were discrete and respectful..what a change that was.
The club has a dedicated smoking room, huge extractor..and its not a lepor colony either...TV , and sofas and carpeted
Club is really easy to find and is 5 mins from M62,
yes it was quiet, But this is manchester the city of fun, we picked the wrong night.
In conclusion, a fantastic,clean and freindly club..and we WILL be going back, this will become our regular club, it would be nice to go with another couple next time...5 STARS

first time we have ever really expierenced the swinging scene and absolutley loved it. very clean and friendly atmosphere and wide range of people attending (but was not pestered by single males) we got talkin to a couple frome here and they told us pretty much all we needed to know. we didnt swap on this occasion but did enjoy some fun with echother in cpls only room (which was amazin by the way) deffinatley be going back there as had a great time xxxxxxxxxxxx

Recently'discovered' this gem! Have been a few times recently and Saturday night was fab! It is clean, contrary to some previous comments, the staff are very friendly and really made us feel very welcome. We found the atmosphere very good, lots of people there and of course there will always be single guys but we certainly didn't have any problems. We have visited Cupids 3 times now and think it is really great! Mary and her husband make you feel totally at ease and are very friendly, which was really helpful as we were really nervous when we went for the first time. We had an amazing session in the viewing room, so much so that 10 guys were trying to watch, one came up to my partner Dee and said that it was the best display he had ever seen at Cupids and would remember it for many nights to come!!!!! Everyone is very polite and we have met some very appreciative guys - one of whom was lucky enough to help give Dee her first spit roast experience!! We are becoming Cupids regulars!

visited Cupids July 08.I really do think that swinging clubs need to take a good look at themselves, My wife and I went for our first ever visit to a swingers club, and I have to say that the first impression was awfull, the area is a bit dodgy, up a side street and generally gives a real sleazy feel, which some may think is just what it should be, but I have to say it made my wife feel very uneasy. Inside the whole place feels like it needs a total refurb as I cant think of one area that looked like it was new, the changing rooms are a joke ! with no security at all, and felt like a scout hut from the fifties. The staff generally seemed nice as did some of the people we met, but overall our experience was not good, the worst was when we wanted to leave and asked for a taxi. the staff told us it would be easier to flag one down in the street, well at midnight in a strange area, thats not a really good idea and also not what the website told us. So to sum up, if you are a newby to the scene I would not recommend cupids, if you are a hardened swinger looking for a challenge then perhaps it would do it for you but personally, wild horses would not get us back there.

our first swinging experiance, sat 23rd, we were both nervous and turned up far too early just as the club was opening so we were the first ones in. mary showed us round and was very friendly and put us at ease. i must say we were abit disapointed by the amount of singles males to start off with but they were all very respectful and not pushy at all, we even chatted to few. We discovered a new side to our sexuality, our excibisionist side, we got intimate outside the couples room and before long had a group of single men watching and getting turned on, i must say this realy did it for both of us, i was slightly worried one would take it too far but they all seemed happy enough just to watch, one asked if he could touch and when i said no ,he respected that. hopefully we'll be back.

What a dissapointment. After years of swinging and been threatened at a dogging site we deceided to try our first club.
The club its self was nice and clean and well decorated.... but....
We found the barman a bit surley and not very friendly to first timers, the young girl who showed us round was plesent enough but could have explained the do's dont's a bit better.
So we sat for over two hours with only one young lad talking to us (and we had started to talk to him outside anyway)while others sat in there little group and all dissarered into a room together.
Thank god for Ros and her hubby who when we were getting changed to come home informed us that although the site says men/cpls will arroach you, in fact you have to approach them.
All this and we paid £15.00 for me to give one guy a BJ....I could have gone down the docks and been paid for that lol.

Went for the first time on 10th July and I was very nervous. My partner and I had never done done anything like it before. Arrived at 9pm and were given the tour by the very friendly staff. The club was very clean and we were suitably impressed. As it was Thursday night it was very quiet but that didn't stop us appreciating our visit. We had fun in the couples room, both on our own and with another welcoming couple we met. We'd like to visit again on a more busy night.

o mg brilliant i am a single female who went on the 12th july for the first time ever made to feel really welcome, had the guided tour by staff all rooms where clean tidy and well furnished ecxellent night the bar is a nice place to chill and socialise others where happy to answer my querys. i expected to get harrased by single males but no infact made some friends. later on after the bach theamed party stippers, i was welcomed in to the couples area and enjoyed my self it wasnt aukward of false and i would return hear every week instead of the clubs in the city even just to chill and have a drink absouloutly wonderfull thanks cupids and staff

Went to Cupids last night (5th July) for the second time. Had the most amazing night. Loads of couples which was great. We had some amazing fun in the couples room and spent about 3 hours in all in there. Single men respect your wishes. People are really friendly and we met some lovely couples (young good looking too)- just chatting and having a laugh. The only problem was that i had my makeup bag stollen out of the changing rooms. the only downfall is the changing rooms which are open. You do have the option to put your small valuables in a box behind the bar however, clothes, shoes etc. are kept in the changing room. All my makeup, cigarettes, and other bits were stollen out of my bag. Be warned and dont leave anything hanging about of value. HOWEVER all in all we had an amazing memorable night. Great place to go.We went to cupids on the 7th June our very first visit to a swingers club.From the very second we walked in the door we were made to feel very welcome and at ease.We was quite nervous this being our first visit but there was no need at all.From the moment we got there we felt so relaxed and chilled.Everyone there is so friendly met some great people.We went with no expectations just to have a fun evening and that is exactly what we had a fun filled evening in more ways than one.Infact we enjoyed it so much we went back the following saturday.On the 21st we have plans but on the 28th i am in no doubt we will be back ther,And looking forward to it.Thanks guys and gals.Oh and all the single guys there all behaved like gentlemen.There was no hassle from them at all. Have been to Cupids 3 times now on a Saturday night and the experience has got better with each visit. Last visited on the bank holiday weekend when the club was absolutely packed. Played with one particularly nice couple, you know who you are and had a great time. The people to be found there are friendly and welcoming as are the staff. The only downside is that the club it self could do with refurbishing . To say it's dated would be an understatement. The club on the whole though is generally clean with no untoward wiff's and odors. The fact that you have to get changed immediately upon arrival is intimidating as first timers to the club scene. Would we go back? yes after all its not the surroundings that makes a good time its the people you have them with.

We went last Friday 28th March, my partner had been before but it was a first time for myself. I was quite nervous but can honestly say that within half an hour I was feeling very relaxed. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, no pressure from anyone and the single men behaved as gentlemen. Was luckily the first club we visited eight months ago which i now use as a benchmark for other clubs, clean and run by experienced swingers and i have seen first hand surveillance with the clubs cameras checking on and protecting people in the club. Relaxed atmosphere and good couples room. Free pool table, private rooms really are private with locked doors. If i can give advice to any newbies it would be to come to Cupids first as the atmosphere is just right to get into the swinging scene.

My girlfriend and i went for the first time on Saturday 9th Feb. First time to Cupids and first time to a club. WOW.
Started in glory hole booth which broke the tension for us nicely, then spent most of the night in the couples room. Sorry we didnt join in when invited but our nerves got the better of us.

Went for the first time as a single guy on Saturday 19th January. Warmly welcomed by the staff and given a tour round. The whole night was mind blowing with plenty of action everywhere. Loads of couples, enough single guys and one, I think, single lady. Lots going on in the couples room (with vision from the viewing room for us single guys)including girls on girls. Decided to visit Cupids the Saturday night after the Halloween party 2007. I was appalled by the dismal appearance of the building and some of the clientel. I won't be going back.

I went to the |Christmas Party with a companion - it was a fabulous night. Well worth the slightly higher admission charge. The only disappointment was that there werem't a lot of single fellas for my companion to enjoy, and many of those that were hanging around just seemed to want to watch rather than get involved - polite to the point of diffidence, in fact! Still, a great night - possibly my best-ever at a club (apart from the Candy Club in Amsterdam!).

My wife and I went last Sat night. This was our first visit to a club and we were first to arrive around 8pm, we were also one of the last to leave at 3am!
Whilst we have no other experiences with which to compare we had a fantastic time. The staff made us feel very welcome and so did the other members. Good spacious club - hot couples room and downstairs greedy girls area, plenty of action. Some very attractive people all ages.

Would be 5 stars but for the anachronistic towel rule for the men. It's really not a sexy look and the sauna and jacuzzi are tucked away and were hardly used.

If the dance floor were made bigger (nice pole area but very small) and the music better this club would be fantastic and clothes would be fine and contribute to the atmosphere and erotics - surely that's the way things are going now. The white towel scene seems so old fashioned now - catch up, Cupids!

Maybe they should have a fetish-wear night, we'd definately go back again for that.

Brilliant club that we have been to several times this year on different nights . If you are a couple then best to go on Saturday or maybe a weeknight after 10pm - but saturday is miles better because the place gets packed & there are a lot of couples of all shapes , sizes , & ages . On other nights there are maybe too many single men - women need to walk around with a partner or the men may feel intimidating at times .
There is an unoficial smoking room but the main area is the bar area which is big & very comfortable - the club is well laid out & very tastefully done . There are many play rooms .
If you havent been then give it a try - its a great club .

Sorry Richard but what you say is totaly wrong!! having worked there ( I dont now) for over a year I know how much cleaning is done. The rooms are cleaned everday and in between the club being open in the day and evening. I cant see how there was blood or whatever visible as well because all the beds are covered with waterproof, dark blue covers & with the amount of cleaning done that wouldnt have been there at the beggining of the night, maybe it happened during the night?? All the fleece blankets are changed daily, or more if needed.

I've just read Richards review and had to write in response as I didn't agree with it.

We have been going to Cupids for nearly 2 years now and found the place great.The bar staff are very friendly and Cupids itself has a great atmosphere.We have tried other clubs but none comnpare to cupids.

There are plenty of private rooms with big nice comfy beds to get down and have some sexy fun on, all rooms have fans to keep you cool during your steamy session. There are plenty of different seating area's to choose from around the club from quiet corners to watching people in the dungeon area whatever your taste's are there is something for everyone.

It can get busy sometimes and the rooms are obviously used all night long but that's a sign of a good and lively club. I have used rooms into the night and found them to be the same as at the beginning of the night. Most people I know and talk to say the same thing.

You cant really expect a cleaner and chamber maid to be waiting outside each door to rush in after the rooms have been used each time.

It's just polite to the next people if you leave the room your using tidy and put rubbish in bins as a common courtesy to others,but we have never had this problem anyway as the rooms have always been ok.

We will definitly go back to Cupids again and again as the place is great.

Went on Saturday 27 October for the Halloween Party - a great night, the place was bunged - it was standing room only in the "couples only" room. Two strippers - one male, one (gorgeous) female - added a lot of variety to the night. All-in-all a brilliant night and well worth the raised admission price.

Been here with my girlfriend twice. Atmosphere is good, lots of singles also but not a problem.

Cupids has a serious problem. Maybe most people do not see it becuase they are sex/alcohol drunk or both.....Plus maybe becuase the lights are dimmed.
The beddings in general are very filthy and most unhygenic. The decor needs some serious makeover.

During my second visit, I was there until last orders were called. The lights were turned on. I was nearly sick at what I saw. The sheets were deplorably stain and the mattress was very filthy, not just from the night, but you can tell these were blood and other stains from a long time ago. I will spare you the detail.

I have not been there again for a year now. I like the people who go there. Will visit again this month. If no improvements have been made, then its bye bye Cupids.

08/09/07 - First time me and my bf have ever been to a swinging club and after tonight i think we chose the best one in our area. We are new to this lifestyle and are gradually finding our feet as it were. We tried this club for the first time on Tuesday nite (24th). We went with an open mind, particularly her who is still self concious about appearing in public in lingerie or a towel (where we normally go its casual clothing)...hey...guess what within 5 mins she was relaxed as a very relaxed thing. The club was very good, quite a few single guys but they caused no problems at all. They look but don't touch unless invited. The place is very clean and friendly and we can't wait to go back. Mind you we did get lost trying to find the place initially!!

We have been to Cupids on several occasions both weekends and weekend Party nights. What a fab, fun clean, friendly, non-pushy place.
The hostesses were friendly, showed you around and made you welcome. Just tell them at the door you are new and can someone show you around.
We have not found there to be clickiness within the club on the nights we have been.

Men understand NO and yes sometimes there have been as many men as couples, but all respect the rules of the club and if you want to get away from them there are the couples or private rooms.

We visited Cupids on a Monday and really liked it - the staff are very friendly, the facilities are clean, the areas for relaxing are comfortable and and there are lots of different playrooms to try out :)

It was quiet when we went (usual for a Monday night apparently) but we enjoyed playing in the dungeon room - we were a bit taken aback by one single male attempting to join in without asking but he backed off when we asked him not to.

We will definitely be returning, but will aim for a busier night next time :)
