Your Reviews of Paradise In Blackpool Swingers Club

23rd Oct 2011 - 10:27pm
Great location, superb hosts, great company, a clean bed to sleep in afterwards, a great breakfast. Play rooms are lights and airy, bar prices very reasonable and the rooms pleasant ( and are currently all being up graded!)
Not pretentious in any way if you are a newbie this is a place for you, the same being true for more seasoned campaigners.
No snobs and not clicky, just good honest fun. Want the Hilton its two miles up the road, triple the price and frankly the breakfast isn't as nice!

Visited 'Paradise' on Friday 29th April to check it out as a possible future venue for a Blackmans Fanclub weekend that i am thinking of organising at the end of October

Sue and Keith are a great down to earth, lovely, friendly couple that welcome all of their guests with open arms - newbies and regulars alike and we were made to feel at home immediately

The hotel is ideally located for 'fun' in a very lively seaside resort

The facilities at the hotel are more than adequate for the costs charged and the food was served with a beaming smile and was super tasty too!!!

The hotel was clean and fresh smelling!!

The rooms at the hotel are currently being renovated and those that are completed are LUSH!!

The communal playrooms are very spacious and more than suitable for the frolicks that ensue ;)

The social area is welcoming and the bar well stocked with a good variety of alcoholic drinks on offer - however there was even evidence that they are more than happy to go out to buy it if they havent got it!!!

All in all this couple (and their friends who play a major part in lending a helping hand) are all that you could ask for from a B&B.

It is obvious that they are passionate about ensuring that guests enjoy their stay and that they are determined to do their utmost to help them have a great time giving out local information, history of the area, arranging taxis and throwing in some good old Northern humour too!! ....

I know that the BMFC members will love this hotel and staff as much as the staff will love our members

So, roll on October coz its time that the Blackmans Fanclub put the Black in Blackpool!!!

Visited the club Sat 19th Feb, a warm and friendly atmosphere, no pressure to join in, wicked Cheeky Vimto's and games to break the ice.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, finger buffet served at night.
Sue and Keith made all the guests feel at ease, Newbies attending didn't feel any pressure to play.
Met some great folks, will definetly be back, Had a great night thank you to J and K :-) xxxxxxxxxxx

When we went the last time, we all played some games to get everyone interracting more, which was fab! There was no pressure to play tho.

Fantastically located near the promenade. We met some wonderful people there, it's just such friendly place :-)

14/6/08 The rooms were lovely and clean and at £70 for two of us half board was very reasonable. The bar was great, with a lovely patio area for us smokers. The staff were very friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we had all we needed. The play rooms were lovely and at no time did we feel pressured or obliged to do anything. It was just a lovely laid-back atmosphere. The buffet provided for us was A1 and breakfast was the same. A big thanks to all the staff for putting up with us they were saints lol

We are not going to specifically retort on all the unnecessary, deliberate negative comments in the previous 2 reviews; people are entitled to their own opinions that others don't agree with, but it is obvious to us that the Hotel Paradise (not advertised as a swingers club, it is a hotel!) is not a suitable place for hardened, exhibitionist swingers (such as the previous 2 reviewers). We will however say that this place is perfect for any nervous, shy first time swingers, newbies and the curious, because there is a "no pressure to perform" very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

What can I say ... Dont Bother wasting your money. This is not a swingers club and can no way be described that way. We have been to many places around the North West and even further a field and this has to be one of the worst. We paid £100 for the weekend which including a snack on Friday NIght and Evening Meal On Saturday. We wouldn't even touch the food they wanted to serve us as it couldn't even be classed as food It was disgusting.

The swinging facilities class of 2 bedrooms downstairs that have no viewing windows and 2 small double beds. Once you go in there no one knows to follow you in because you can leave the doors open as they are fire doors and have to be Shut!! WHY

We are only a young couple but found the club had there regulars there which consists of 3 couples (all have left good reviews on here, and all totally false) They are all well into there 50s and spend the night smoking (in the bar) and looking down the nose's at anyone else who is there.

All I can honestly say about this club is dont go you will be dissapointed. This is not a swingers hotel and should stop advertising itself as.

19th May 2008 - 4:27pm
Ok went with friends for a weekend. Arrived Friday to be greated by an oldish scruffy man with a fag in his hand. It would appear that the Crystal Hotel dont have any care for the smoking in Public places. As this continued all weekend with all the regulars sat around smoking. Was told if we had any objections they would have to go out side when I objected it was laughed off.

The food was dire to say the least we got a slice of bread with some steak patty thing on and a bowl of greasy chips. THe Saturday Night meal was some strange tasting thing which they called curry again with a bowl of greasy chips. MMM you'd be better of finding some greasy cafe in Blackpool.

There is no parking at All and if you do happen to be able to park outside the hotel you will be asked to move the car so a regular can park there!! So you have to pay around £15 for the weekend in a carpark about 10 minutes walk up the road.

Ok Swinging hotel it says it is Swinging hotel is certainely isn't!!! Ok Not by my standards and the 3 couples we were there with. They have a very small bar room which is were everyone sits of an evening now if you were to have 20 people in there it would be cramped. So no relaxing. They have normal Saturday NIght telly on the tV and no music playing in the background!! I couldn't get myself into the mood cause it felt like we were in some working mens club!! There is 2 playrooms on the lower floor which are nice however they are like 2 bedrooms there is no viewing window ... so no good for people who like to watch and no use for exhibitionism. And the beds are a very small double so no way can an orgy take place. And we also found that once your in the room no one knows to come in and join cause there is no way of telling. We also later got told that while me and a friend were in it (my friend is a bit of a screamer) that the door to the bar was closed as apparently she was a bit loud and they couldn't hear the TV!!!! Oh my word isn't this a swingers club!!!!!

Also there is no toilet downstairs so you have to go up a flight of stairs passed all the guest bedrooms to get to a toilet (and there is only 1) which I find very poor.
And not forgetting to mention the lovely looking manager of the club wandering around with his tracksuit pants and tshirt looking more like wayne and waynetta slob swearing every time the phone rings and constantly chain smoking

This place makes for a wonderful swinging experience NOT!!!

Save your money and try somewhere with a good established reputation!

28th Oct 2007 - 5:30pm
Went Saturday 28/10/07. Sue and Keith are the perfect hosts, warm, friendly and lots of fun. The bedrooms have everything you need and are very clean and tidy. The en-suite bathrooms are clean. And nowhere did we see any neglect. Keith's evening meal and breakfast are just what you need. Nightime 'entertainment' was a good laugh and ice breaker and nobody is forced to do anything. We did have fun in the playrooms - very comfy and thank you to C & M (you know who you are). All in all for our first time at a hotel we enjoyed it and would definately go again. Just a shame that people put bad reviews that are totally untrue.

24th Oct 2007 - 1:24pm
We stayed here with a group of friends and found the place very intimate, keith and sue were the perfect hosts and gave us every assistance. the rooms were a bit on the samll side, but then again how much time do you spend in your room :-).. the place was clean and tidy and breakfast was fantastic, just what you need after an evening of fun.. i saw no trace of damp or peeling wallpaper as the previous reviewer stated and at the end of the day it's more down to people and what you make it, i can honestly say i had a better saturday night at paradise than i have ever had at a club.

2nd Oct 2007 - 2:09am
got back from a weekend in the crystal hotel if your thinking of going take my advice...DONT its got to be one of the worse ive stayed in!! the rooms were disgracful the paper hanging off the walls n the smell of damp could knock u out the food (if i could call it that) was like something you see in old films getting dished out to prosioners....slop i think we can call it. the parking or lack off was a shambles think most in hotel got a parking ticket. then comes the swinging side of it..well the rooms looked nice even tho we only popped our heads in the door...we went to infusion where we knew it was clean n u had more choice of people to play with ..our idea off swinging aint to play with the owners the cook n the cleaner who were all there both nights no wonder the b & b was full. sorry folks but from now on i will stay in a nice clean hotel n pick where i eat n swing
