Went for the 1st time, was a little quiet but was their 1st Sunday event in January so not surprising.
Lovely place with the couple running it (Vicky & Jim) making everyone feel welcome and at ease.
Had a fun night and will be back whenever we are staying that side of the country
Would recommend to those new to clubs but also those that have been to other clubs like Chams

Went for the 1st time last night....very friendly host (showed me around and introduced me to a few people. Nice facilities It was fetish night and was interesting....looking forward to going to one of their swinging nights.

We went to The Townhouse last night as both our first club and first swinging experience. We took advantage of the 'free Friday night admission for couples if you register on-line' offer that's on their website.
The owner put us at our ease, gave us the ground rules and lots of useful advice, and then one of the bar staff gave us a full tour of the facilities. The bar staff were incredibly friendly, as were most of the guests, though some of the couples didn't seem to want to bother with us and were perhaps happy in their own cliques.
As first timers, we have no benchmark to compare it to, but we felt that the facilities were clean and mostly well planned. We had expected to see some other couples having fun to get us into the mood, but we seemed to be the first couple to get things going.
Unfortunately, we did find the behaviour of some of the singles rather offputting. Maybe being watched silently wouldn't have been a problem, but the loud conversation and laughter that was coming from some of the guys was a real mood killer, and had us on the verge of leaving at one point.
We returned to the bar and paired off with a couple who we'd previously met in the spa pool. We found one room that would have been ideal for us to play, except for the fact that it had a viewing window with a congregation of singles on the other side. We ended up in a private room that had two double beds, which had to be pushed together to make room for the four of us to properly interact.
Overall, the positive points heavily outweighed the negative and we wouldn't hesitate to go back, maybe trying a BDSM night next time around. If we could make one change, it would be to add the option of privacy to some of the larger rooms so that couples can play without being watched.

Went on Saturday 24th July and were pleasantly surprised. Nice and clean. Lots of nooks and crannies to go wandering about and have a look. Pleased with quality of single guys (couples outnumbered them easily) and lots of places were guys can't go so can have fun in peace. Nice and clean with friendly people. Most definately be going again.

went for first time this weekend ... odd place does not really set a sesxual atmoshere and a bit small to really get the feel of who is there and definately one of those places were clicks are in situ wont go back alas

We thought we would try the bi night on 11/03 and we were left totally unimpressed!It seems that the owners are more concerned in bringing in the money and letting in lots of single males, far too many with no females or couples in there and spent the hour we stayed for trying to get rid of a persistant male who just could not seem to take 'no' for an answer. If we had wanted to try greedy girl night we would have gone on a Wednesday!

New years eve party very good, buffet and champers free along with the company. Lots of private and public fun. This is the place to be next year.

Really relaxed evening on Saturday 12th Dec. It was the first time into this club with mixed expectations of it being a good club but clicky. The latter is rubbish. Very Very good staff and a great mix of people of all ages who were there on Saturday. Social interaction for an hour pre the 11pm dress down gong is an excellent warm up if you are like me and love to talk to couples and flirt a bit with your clothes on!

just back from club tonight (13.11.09) My first time swinging. Had an absolute ball. Met a lovely couple & some very nice men. was welcomed warmly. Chris was fab as a host & a fantastic time was had. i will be going there lots & become a regular. went on my own & didnt feel uneasy at all. thanks guys you were great x

we went to townhouse 2 weeks ago on a friday night it was a very relaxed atmosphere really help me (mrs) as i was very nervous very clean lots of new couples which helped we were all in same boat trying a club for the 1st time all other member were really nice and the bar staff were great made you feel at home

went for the first time last night and was very pleasently surprised :)
very friendly welcoming staff, clean & well run environment.
Unfortunetly it wasn't very busy but that is no fault of the venue just happened to be one of those nights although this did give it a more intimate feel & the quality & attitude of the people we did talk to was above the norm..
Although its a bit of a journey for us we were both agreed that we would definetly like to return.

Been a couple of Wednesdays recently and still maintaining the highest of standards. Saw comments re Scouse Click.... Rubbish. We visit occasionally and people let on and engage you in chat. Is that a click? Be friendly, open and mix to allow people to know who you are. The bar staff are great catalysts and will introduce you to people and even generate conversations to help people to mix.
The toasties and filter coffees are awesome.
It's chilled, friendly, pressure free and with the jacuzzi due to come on line soon, getting better all the time

I am a non-scene Dominant (as in D/s & BDSM) and I took my submissive there for a Greedy Girls' Night. I found the owners and barman, as ever, to be exceptionally polite and welcoming, though they showed an error in judgement in allowing one drunk and offensively rude female member serve from behind the bar at one point. Aside from that it was full of cliquey scouse couples, but we didn't care. We enacted the hot ''scene'' we had agreed beforehand and had great ''fun'' for hours on end at what is an outstanding venue. The single males I selected and directed to ''play'' with my sub were all well mannered, polite, and obeyed my rules to the letter. Oh, and the cheese and ham toastie and filter coffee we ended up having at 2.30am before departing at 3am, were just the job. There is no better swingers club than Townhouse in my view.

Just coming down from our first visit to TH.....and it was 2days ago. (Friday 1/5)....We are not very experienced having only played together and had one MMF experience just 3 weeks ago.
Initially not what we expected, we have been to Fun4Two and Abfabs in the past, so the carpark and location came as a surprise. Whether it was by chance or having seen us drive around a couple of times unsure, Chris came out to greet us. Once the signing formalites were completed, we got an excellent guided tour from Olivia, which served to calm the nerves that a stiff gin hadn't coped with. Back in the bar area it was clear we were pretty early and wondered if the place would fill up. We have to stress though that in hindsight this lack of initial numbers MADE the night, we managed to chat extremely pleasantly with several "regulars" before the bulk of the membership arrived.
To all people worried about "cliques" in clubs, we offer this advice....be early, greet the regulars.....they will hopefully then introduce you onwards.
The bar staff were first class and genuinely seem to understand nerves, we relaxed enough to play together and relax properly.
The night concluded with B being invited into a game of pool...suffice to say naked pool leading to 8 writhing bodies on one bed was not what we had in mind:-).......but now we can't get it out of those same dirty minds....
Bottom line, club is excellent, the people we met were awesome...Wish we could give it more than 5*, because that's what we would have awardeded both Fun and Abfabs, sometimes it's more about the experience than the actual club.

I went to the Townhouse on Friday 10th April. What a great club with excellent hosts and bar staff.
I've been to a couple of other clubs now, and I have to say that in terms of the welcome you get then the Townhouse can't be beaten. The other members made me feel incredibly welcome and there were some very attractive regulars indeed: I'll be back! As always, Chris and Olivia were on hand to show new members around and introduce people to each other, ensuring nobody was sat alone or unsure.
As a single girl, I don't think there are many clubs I'd feel happy going to alone but I had no problems at all. There was lots of play going on and very many satisfied customers. It's a great atmosphere: intimate and friendly.
The facilities as always were clean and very well-presented. That's another big plus for me as far the Townhouse compared to other clubs. Roll on the completion of the new wet area!

A very relaxed club with good facilities, very clean.

Pinky09i went just before christmas..it was my 1st time goin to a club an my nerves were takin over me..but once i got there everyone seemed really genuine and friendly..the owner done a great job at making me feel relaxed wich was great. really clean,rooms are really great...i would deffo recomend this club

We went on Friday evening for the first time and found the club very relaxing and friendly.
We are experienced swingers and have visited other clubs and we will definately return again, we also thought the hospitality was very welcolming felt that it was a ideal club as well for beginners.
