Bristol Munch September 11th 2010

Bristol, Saturday September 11th 2010 Brought to you by the Tweekys and Nimbus icon_biggrin.gif Event is open to all site members who joined before April 10th 2010. Members who joined after that date can be added to the list at a later date as long as they become active site members. This is strictly a social non play event so please conduct yourself accordingly. Members who are not sure what a Munch is please read this link. http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/terminology/munch.html The evening will take place in a pub near the town centre of Bristol. We hope to have use of the entire venue for the event which would be fantastic however this is dependent on the numbers attending. If we do not have the required numbers for the entire venue then we will have a private room within the same venue. Both options fulfill the required guidelines i.e. private toilets and exclusive use of the room or pub. An added extra weather permitting is a smoking balcony. We have no plans to provide food so please eat before you attend the event. At the moment there is no theme for this event although I am open to changing that should enough members want one (I am a little late getting this thread up and have not had a chance to sort one). We will be providing music but at what level is not yet decided. Any budding DJ’s out there want to give us a hand? Send me a PM I can provide you with a list of equipment the venue has available. There is no charge for this event but at some time in the evening a glass may be passed around to recoup the event costs, donation is optional. Any profit made will go to the Make a wish foundation plus one other charity chosen by Nimbus. If you are nervous about attending please contact us and we will try to provide you with a chaperone for evening or at least to walk in with. If you have any disability and require seating please contact us for reserved seats for you and a plus one. We will be providing name badges courtesy of Midschick36, many thanks for your help. We have a list of local hotels please PM us for the list. A list of local Taxis and restaurants will be available closer to the event date. Cant attend due to kids? If you fancy a break in Bristol for the weekend I can send you details of a babysitting service that will do hotels. Registration and sitter cost would be roughly in the region of £40-£50 HELP: We can always use some extra help, it’s a big event to organize so if you can help with any of the following please let us know. A stint on the door (Well known members only), Chaperone's for new or nervous members, A DJ with or without equipment. To sign up for the event simply leave a message below. Confirmations will be required closer to the event date and the thread title will be altered to state this. So please do check this thread nearer the time to confirm your place. If you DO NOT CONFIRM your place may go to another member and you will not be sent the event details. Event details will be sent out only a few days before to protect member’s privacy.
