Chat broken ...

When is chat going to be sorted so we can get in without a blank screen and having to delete cache and history and ... see I'm not the only one having trouble . Beta chat just isnt as good, needs old style chat with some of the beta features ...thats works !

Has there been another upgrade because I can't get on the chat rooms, it's just a blank screen ..

Really annoying, has been like that since all day.

same here, i have read that only premium members can only now access the chat rooms, not sure if this is true or not, its impossible to try and speak with anyone from swinging heaven.

What's going on with the chatrooms? I'm just getting a White Screen Of Death, when I try to access it.

The same here on my pc, but fine on my phone. Any ideas what's wrong?

It works on Firefox, but then you cant use cameras (long known problem), some say it works on Chrome, it doesn't work on Msoft Edge without a huge amount of fiddling about ... so must be some kind of scripting problem I would think. At this rate therte will be a a huge outgoing of members unless admin pull their fingers out ......

I'm on Chrome and it's not working for me.

Chrome - just a blank white page unless we go to link in the "new chat" post in this forum which takes us to the new (horrible) chat.

Firefox - takes us to old chat (no webcams) but all the rooms are messed up with old rooms with nobody in them not closed down

Ipad (ios) on Safari gets the same blank screen as Chrome.

Utterly messed up.

The chatrooms were the only thing keeping us here (but would be better without the global rooms and with everyone able to create photorooms ( the lack of them on UK rooms show just how few people actually pay for this site).

Well theres a surprise, I've just logged on and headed for chat and bingo its all up and running ...

It would appear the chat rooms are all buggered again .

At least its not just me having a problem, misery loves company

I think they've pulled a "Unity". The people behind the Unity game engine made a stupid decision that adversely affected the profitability potential of all of their users, lost half their customer-base overnight, and still haven't recovered.

Glad it's not just me - but have tried chrome and edge - deleted cache etc but still not working on any device .... recently upgraded to lifetime membership too so am not really very happy - anyone from support reading this ? maybe time to pop onto to trustpilot and facebook and start revealing the truth about the site -

Yeah, lifetime membership here too, not over the moon, as someone who works in the IT business, I have to say this is absolutely not the way to treat your paying customers.

Yup - still not back for me - https://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/chat this link says 0 people in the chat so guessing it's site wide

even entering using their debug mode doesn't work - so am guessing it's something more serious - or based on the level of professionalism they seem to be managing this site with it will be something ridiculous - maybe they forgot to put 50p in the meter over the weekend?

like last night, can't change rooms. Lush has beta chat only now and there were so many complaints yesterday. Given they only have about 100 people on chat at a time I dread to think how many complaints there will be here with up 1000 Globally in chat. Admin seem uesless and the Mod's here haven't been told what is going on, receipe for disaster

I would too in all honesty. But I took the gamble and paid for life time membership.... You'd think they'd at least communicate a reason or a plan or at the very least an apology. Epic fail

I wonder if it is capacity related failure. Either way it smacks of amateur hour. Thought it was a site supported by a company but looks like it's a couple of amateur developers sitting in their bedroom. Now in too deep and have no idea what they are doing or how to recover.....

What they were saying on Lush last night is that the tech behind current chat is outdated which is why it keeps crashing. The beta chat and old chat 'clash' which causes the chat to go down. Seems like they are treating Lush as a guinea pig to iron out all the problems- think they will be ironing for a while! but once running properly it will be much better. I am yet to be convinced, as you say all looks rather amateur and no comms is far from ideal. They seem to think a forum post is informing the site users without realising most forum user don't use chat and vice versa. Seems like we are stuck and will have to see how it pans out

Chatroom used to be totally free to use, now its pay to play, no way am i paying for this, site needs to re think its operating mode, we do have several other sites which are not only better but are free to use!

The chat hasn't been working for me for months now. The lagoon room doesn't even appear in the room list - I have to try and refresh page multiple times to find it Tried on several browsers with the same result. A very poor service for a paying customer.
