Are you new to the chat rooms and need some help getting around in them ? Maybe not so new, but don't participate a lot because it's all a bit confusing ? Perhaps you have a question about the chat rooms but don't want to start a new thread in here?

If so, I will be opening a 'Newbie' chat room this evening where members can pop in and have a chance to try out the rooms/ask any questions they might have in a relaxed and fun environment

For this reason, only face cams will be permitted in the room as there are plenty of rooms in which you can put a show on if you choose too

I'm not particularly techy, but if you have any questions of this nature I will do my best to answer them

The room will be open on server 2, from about 8 pm this evening and will be called "Minx's Newbie Chat" or something similar

If you have any questions about the room, please feel free to pm me/post in here and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Hi Binxy, great idea!

Can I just ask please, will you be showing people how to host a room as well as how to use them purely to chat? ie...how to post the warnings, how to react to those breaking the site rules, etc.

It's just a thought as have been in many rooms that the host does not seem to have a clue how to run (no offence intended to anyone) and it might be a good idea, if any new folk do want to host, to have some sort of practical guidance on it as well as the guidelines posted on this forum.

The room will be there to provide guidance on all aspects of the chat room, so if anyone feels they would like advice on the best way of hosting a room and of course how to deal with offenders, they are more than welcome to pop along and I will do my best to help

With server 1 being an absolute mare at the moment, it may be worth opening it on server 2?
