just brought a web cam and it works on msn but not on sh as anybody got any ideas
Your cam can not be connected to both msn and the rom at the same time.
So once you click on cam icon in room use left mouse button and chose settings on the drop down menu then click on small icon of a web cam and make sure your cam is listed in there.
Close menu and your cam should work.

if you go into chatrom forum......there is a good trouble shooting guide posted as sticy by tony-mids actualy..helped me
Also try downloading the latest verison of Flash
hi, i was thinking of getting a new cam as my old one died a while ago. where would be the best place for a cheap one? I rarely used it so don't really want to splash out too much for one. are they easy enough to set up these days? Last one i installed years ago when i was more technically minded.

You should take a look at <a href="http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/search/?strSearch=&bolShowAll=true&intStoreID=2&intCatID=153&minprice=0.0&maxprice=9.0&bolShowAll=true">ebuyer</a> - they have quite a few cheap cams starting at £4. I doubt they are that advanced, but you can't complain at the price.
