Post subject: Channel 5 documentary - 'Real Wife Swaps'
Posted: Thu Aug 19, 2004 9:23 am
Hello all my first post in the cafe.
Was reading the TV guide this am and saw a programme called "Real wife swaps" on channel 5 at 10.30
At first i thought it was a documentary about Michael Owen sleeping with Posh and David Beckham sleeping with Mrs Owen but the tv guide says
"This new three part series looks at swinging - you know where couples briefly swap partners for sexual purposes- and starts with a peak behind the curtains of a swingers party in Hertfordshire"
Don't know if this info has been posted before but thought someone might find it of interest
Note: a related thread exists here: <a href="http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopic/43839.html"><b>Real Wife Swaps in Orlando Florida</b></a>

I shall definitely be watching that! The last thing i saw about swinging was these Americans, and they had deliberately chosen people who had major relationship issues too... which isn't how it is generally, is it?

Well the description no longer applies for a start. I understand that it not all about `swapping` anymore.
Hope they are more enlightening with the actual documentary. Can`t watch it though, I can`t get Channel 5.

I just read they are going to be looking at the opening of a swanky club in Leicester! See Radio Times.
I live in Leicester. Anyone know about this club?

In that case then I sure hope that it is a fitting tribute to them in light of what happened recently...
I will be there with my glasses on....
Thanks

Hi All, The first one is about Radlett, which is listed here on Swinging heaven in the clubs and parties section for the south east. There is a link in there too, so you can view their web page.
We will be watching it and we too hope it will be a lot better than the american one.

We can say from experience that the Radlett Parties are excellent.
Watching it now and it seems really strange to see it on the TV, for the record, Susie and I enjoyed a really wild time in the trainset room...lol otherwise known as the lof dungeon, although the swing didn't get any use as it was taken over most of the night by a particularly energetic female
