Can''t See Videos

i don't know if this has anything to do with why i also can't see anything other than the list of people and rooms in the chatroom. but i also can't see anything where the video is when you click on the clips?

i have downloaded java and don't have aol.

any one any ideas??

Do you have the latest version of Flash???

Use this link to test the version you have. After a few minutes a box will appear that says Start Tests. Click the box and it will carry out the test:

After the test is finished you should see a box like this:




Please note the arrows, these are the bits to check. For the chatroom to function correctly your test results need to look exactly as above:

# The 8,0,22,0 needs to be equal or higher.

# All of your lines must say Success at the end.


If your version number is lower than 8,0,22,0 you need to update your version of flash, you can do this using the link here:

If you have FAIL at the end of any of the lines underneath, then you have a firewall blocking the connection, either disable any security software you have on your PC, if you are an advanced user, you may want to just open ports 443 and 1935 on your firewall.

(BTW - I pinched this info from the Help Section listed on the left. Have a look in there if you have any further problems!)

thanks for the tip . it wasn't anything to do with all that but to do with another program on my comp. hopefully now got it sorted though not holding my breath . just as i get one thing sorted it does something else stupid
