When Opening A New Room Can We Put No Cams ?

I guess the title is self explanatory

You can but as the whole chat complex is designed for cams then its not really what its all about and if anyone uses a cam in the room they cannot be kicked out because they haven't broken the AUP....

As Steve says, you can put "No Cams" in the title, but that would only be a request. If someone decides to go in there and put a cam on there is nothing you can do about it!

maybe thats a rule that could be looked at..giving the room owner more freedom..to allow or not allow content..i can see why some would want a no cams option,

if the room stated no cams and people chose to ignore that its hardly going to do them a great deal of harm if they were removed after a warning from the room owner?

it would at least give the member/ room owner what they want, at what cost to the site? supply and demand as usual would see if it worked or not.

You dont have to look at them.....

A room with no cams in it is far far easier to control ...you tend to get a high turnover of chancers looking for cams to watch and they usually leave when no cams are available.

Any cam whatsoever can start the morons off...a man will be abused for being a wanker and a woman will be abused for not having a enough flesh on show...

No cams >>>>>> less abuse !

dont have a problem with them myself but can see why some would prefer rooms without,,, as mentioned by flower, for those reasons if not others.

We generally open a chat room for SoftSwingers who are generally Couples (not always) and having single guys there not participating, (just stroking) is off putting.

I know we have the choice not to look but I think it is one of those things that could be considered.

i would see that as giving in to the few i would sooner deal with them and report them.people not whishing to view dont have to, but people who wish to can.

If any one wants total control of a room then why don't they open a private room and invite people who don't cam

Because they`d have to give out a password to everybody so you`d never get to meet new people !!

I can`t really see why there can`t be a default room that doesn`t allow cams. But that`s because I`m a computer dunce !!

All the wonderful things that can be done and they can`t have a room with the cam option disabled

It`d die a death in no time and then we`d all just carry on as before

I can certainly see the appeal of a no cams chatroom....

all those people who were here pre-takeover will remember the chatroom we had back then.. and to a certain extent I still miss it.......

I can't see where it would hurt being an option, if you are going to allow other options which was suppose to be coming with the advent of the new chatroom.......

Why would you want a room with no cams? isn't the site all about meeting people? so don't you want to know what a potential neet looks like?

sure we do..... but remember what did we do before cams came onto the site? you make it sound like it was a pit before and we all use to sit around and twiddle our fingers

I am sure we all use to looked thru pics.. or get off our backsides and go to socials... or even god forbid have cam chats in private.... and I am sure that those who chose not to go on cam still do all of that.......

all that people are asking for it a different option, I don't see any difference between this and other requests......

I like looking at the cams if honest. But....I can also see that cams in a room do attract undesirables! I cannot see a reason where if someone wants a room with no cams that admin could not just create a room like that. There would be loads of others that you could cam in. Would one room without really hurt?

yes i remember the chat room pre cam days, i've lost count of the amount of people i met that looked nothing like their pics or pic collectors who used the site as a ideal way to get pics off people, i even had one guy send me my pic saying it was his mrs and that he now wanted one back off me the cams have stopped all that, i no more get guys sending out other peoples pics or ones of them 10 years old because quite simply no cam no meet, i think its much better this way
