Post subject: full rooms but no chat

dont know about anyone else but i for one am fed up of going into a room that looks busy only to find that everyone has logged on but gone from there computers, is it not possible to introduce a time out facility , so that if you havent chatted for at least 15 minutes you get auto booted. i realise there are idle tags to chose but nobody seems to use them.

we know wat you meen we go in 1 room wich is supose to be local to us and no 1 ever chats grrrrrrr . 1s i sat there saying hello to my self lol

this seems to happen in alot of rooms.. 
its bloody boring to be honest. I agree that there should be an autoboot for people who cant be bothered to speak, or who are talking only in whisper too, but after about 5 minutes.. 
if people wanna just talk in whisper they ought to set up a private room or go to msn or something, and leave space in the chat rooms for people who can actually hold a conversation

If people want to sit and watch cams, they don't need to chat.
They might be in whipser.
They might have pulled and be on the phone.
They might have gone to the loo or to make a brew.
If I'm in a room opping I might actually be writting up a report which could take me longer than 5 minutes
If the servers can cope with the amount of people on site, who are we to comment how others use the chatrooms 
There are plenty of people talking in general room, just try another one until someone does talk to you or even make your own

I'm with you there Dawnie! I know the chatrooms seem quiet these days but if people are whispering then it often looks quieter than it really is.

Personally, I find that the fuller the room the less likely you are to find chatters.
I often log on, get into the chatrooms and then wander off and do something else 
or answer the phone or check out me ebay auctions and get sidetracked ! 
As has been said, if the chatrooms are not full then there`s no reason to log people out just cos they didn`t speak in the room !!
We`ve spent whole evenings chatting in our own room where some people talk ONLY in whispers, as long as they have asked, we have no problem with this !!
Why on earth would I want to set up a private room or go to MSN when I am in a room full of people. I might miss something interesting !!

we have chats or whispers with friends n newbies
but we do find when we say hi to some , they think u want to go bed with em n start whispering lol
so some times we don`t answer,,,,
