Well.... as I use the steam room thread for ranting in, and the big someone up thread for doing just that, I thought I'd make a new thread to share some lovely stuff!
I just had a great day at work. You know, one of those where you think 'I like what I do and one day I'm going to be very good at it too'... call it the optimism of the trainee
But anyway, it's a great feeling. A career change at 30 could've gone either way. Today, mine feels like it is going exactly how I wished it would.
Plus, the sun is shining!
So, anyone else got any loveliness to share?!
Nola x
i'm full of cold, i'm barking like a dog, got a mouth full of ulcers, and still recovering from the weekend
sound good????
well it all is cos i had a fab weekend celebrating my birthday with friends and family and have just about recovered apart from the above
Earthy xxx

, my elderly dog is having a hyper few days which is so nice to see
to old age she says (normally she aches n groans n limps) and as from tomorrow i will have entire use of my bed, the pc and the remote all to myself for 7 weeks
all lovely stuff i recon
Yay for lovely things!!!
Mrs f is lovely
Annoying
Occasionally stupid
Drives too fast
Has too many horses
Spends too much time with horses
Smells of horses !!!!! eeeeeewwwwwwww !!
Much too keen on shiny shiny things
Her mother is a nightmare
She`s just soooooooooo lovely ![]()
My baby grandaughter aged 4 mths is the vision of loveliness. When she smiles she lights everything up and that to me is worth more than a million win on the lotto
The weather is gorgeous and my tomato and leek seeds are coming through. The sight of something you are going to eat later on, growing and looking healthy is really lovely.

Ive been having delicious text sex with an old school chum I found on facebook last week....wow what a buzz!!
Makes me feel soooooo gorgeous n sexy and really alive n happy
plus the weather is gorgeous n'all ![]()
Nola....
for your first day. Making a career change is challenging at any age but I do think the older we get the more nerve wracking it can me, I know I'm in the middle of it all myself!
Hope your day went well, it's nice to hear good news and cheers me up ![]()
Well I had a fantastic weekend.... a whole two days of artsy stuff. Met some great people, some new contacts...few old faces (bugga they get everywhere and in the least likely places), brilliant weather, brill music and best of all........ I found some tea and homemade cake in a local church! Yummy!!! Nice crypt as well...was the coolest place to be

I have a beautiful son and a wonderful husband and i'm amazingly lucky to have them both.
Sorry.....thought there should be some slush in a loveliness thread....
Mrs Classy
So far this week I've managed to run 5 miles each day
I'm also happy that I don't have any more crappy stuff going on in my life
& now I can indulge myself with sheer frippary!
...but I still hate having to pay bills coz that reminds me I'm still a grown up
So it's a big
to all the grown up stuff!
What a nice thread nola!
fankoooo
We went running today too
After a loooong absence, and I'm still alive. Just.
Hope to get back into going regularly, as I've set myself a goal for camp!
It's only not to burst out pf my corset, but it's a goal, nonetheless! ![]()
