They have to send you an invite to their private gallery - just because you are 'friends' with them doesn't give auto access to photos on this site.
Ask them nicely though, and you might get an invite!

Hi,
Do you mean how do you invite someone to see your private photos? Go to your photos section (here) and click the 'Invite User' button in the top right of the box.
If you want to be invited to see someone else's photos, just send them to do the same for you.
Hope that helps (never tried it myself ).
