I know my wifes dress size and date of birth, and her eye colour. I also know the size of her underwear but...how many guys do not?

Ladies would you say your " other half " would know the answers to the questions?

I remember a few years back, a friend of mine decided to buy his other half some underwear for Xmas.

He asked me to go to a shop with him to help him choose.

Well I did not know what sort she wore or her size...neither did he.

He chose some pretty tacky red silk stuff, which was not my cup of tea, but hey he seemed to like it.

Well on the day he saved the present till the kids had gone to be and then gave her the present. She eagerly opened it only for my mate to have them thrown back at him.

Too tacky she shouted plus....wrong size bra and the thong was two sizes too big.

There is a moral there somewhere.

and why should anything in the daily mail be accurate?

Just read the article at unless I`m reading it wrong over 80% and in some cases up to 90% of men knew the answers !!

Not bad !!!

As to the bra size question, as I understand it, most women wear the wrong size bra anyway, so how the hell are men supposed to know ???


Then some woman in the article says that it means the "majority" of men don`t know these things when the statistics show the opposite !!!


Somebody explain to me how I`m reading this wrong ....please !! It must be too early in the morning !!!

i also wondered bout the varying size issue,and of course theres the fact not all women will admit to their real size!

Thats all true, A_tre'ssize varies from 16 to 18 and the sizes not only vary from shop to shop bt also from item to item, its a real nightmare trying to get something for her. I bought a corset from What Katie Did a few years ago thinking I got the size about right but when it came it was wayyyy to small. Have to say it didn't make A_tre feel good it not fitting

But since then I have improved in the buying stakes

Oh I love articles that talk technobabble made up statisticky codswollop! Doesn't really matter to me as long as I get a card on my birthday and that he never actually tries to buy me something I hate. I'm not easy to buy for apparently! Although, it's not one of his fortees, present buying. I, on the other hand, love buying or making presents for people.

I've just done the test with 'im indoors and I'm pleasantly surprised at the result!

Sat here reading the questions I thought there was no way he'd get any of them right. Last time I asked him what colour eyes I had out of curiosity, he chose every colour except the actual colour of my eyes before admitting defeat.... including colours men claim they have no idea what they are.... you know, like shade of colours or lilac, grey, hazel and topaz

So, you can imagine my elation when he made me two dress sizes thinner than I am, got my birthday day and month right, but then knocked off 3 years! He got my eye colour correct without even looking at me and then got my knicker size correct too! (even though they are different to my dress size).... although, he didn't get my bra size right but correctly told me that it changes every time I go for a fitting. Which it does!

I'm so proud of him.
