We've arranged to perform in front of people a few times before (from this site) and it's been enjoyable. Last night on the way back from a night out, we decided to be adventerous and did an inpromtu dog in the layby A43 Kett-Northampton.
We've stopped there before (last summer) but nothing much was happening. Indeed, when we pulled up only one car as there. We started to enjoy ourselves, then cars started to roll in and we had quite an audience through our steamy window!
There may have been another car performing too as the audience seemed to be wal/nking between us both.
We kept the doors locked and windows upped, and we did oblige by wiping the steam away, but Mrs Jazels was a little nervous. However, everyone was respectful and we will be more relaxed next time.
TBH, we weren't terribly relaxed at first as we'd not done the inpromtu thing before ever, some of the cars were flashing their brake or reverse lights. What are the rules here? I guess this is a frequented place by a usual group - it did seem that when one spotted us, others soon came. Do cars drive between the two laybys and phone each other whe something's happening? Are there any particularly busy nights? Do people ever get out the cars?
Does anyone here frequent that venue and could fill us in with the 'rules'?
Also, it was just that little bit too close to home for us. Where are other equally busy dogging locations not too far away, but say 10 miles on or so?
