There are two things I would like to see changed in the "chat room", the first is the name of the rooms host after the title, e.g. "Naturists South West"......Boofy., and the second is an automatic blocking of Whispers in all rooms unless the recipiant opens it, and is prepared to answer a whisper!

What do other users think?

Identifying the room host would be a good idea - perhaps the screen name could be highlighted in a different colour??.
All too often people open rooms and whenever we ask who the room host is, its very rare anyone admits it.

The socond thing we would like implimented is to be able to block individuals from viewing your cam, its very irritating having someone watching you who just keeps whispering pathetic comments.

This Feature is all ready available in the chatroom, you can select "block all whispers" from the tools menu.

We have found the answer for this, they leave the room so quick that they dont have time to close the door,

copy and paste into the room what they say

Hi,

For the users who are testing the chat, please post questions and bug reports here. Please make sure you've used the in-chat Help (? button) before asking questions.

Below is the current known bug list and what's being and has been fixed. If you see a bug in here please don't post it twice. If you see a bug that's been fixed, but you are still having a problem, please post again stating you're still having the issue.

NOTE: If you're not on version 1.0.6 Please launch the desktop version from the site and not from your desktop to get the latest updates. 1.0.6 onwards includes an auto updater so after this one time you can continue to use the desktop link.

Acknowledged Bugs - Work in Progress

23/08/10 - Loading profiles works initially but then stops working after a while. The reason for this is that you must be logged in to the site to be able to view profiles.

31/08/10 - Copy & Paste from chat area.

Fixed Bugs & New Features
03/09/10 - Chat 'freezing' with no new messages appearing.

02/09/10 - Extras members not always being highlighted in the list

02/09/10 - Two room tabs open at once after going into the 'Testing' room.

02/09/10 - Help which appears when the cursor is over a button sometimes stays open (such as view user profile, whisper to this user, etc)

31/08/10 - The beta chat is now available to all premium members.

31/08/10 - Added automated 'bot room' so you can go in and test a busy chat.

31/08/10 - IE7 Users can now use the on site version as well as the desktop version.

31/08/10 - Desktop version automatically logs you in when launched from the site.

31/08/10 - General camera list issues, users not removing, speed etc.

27/08/10 - Extras users appear in pinky purple in user list.

27/08/10 - Popout camera not popping out sometimes.

27/08/10 - Popout camera not resizeable in desktop version.

26/08/10 - Instant messenger chats appearing in chatroom whispers

26/08/10 - Desktop version now auto updates when launched from anywhere, not just the site.

26/08/10 - Help fixed in desktop version

26/08/10 - 'user turned off their camera' message will disappear after 30 seconds

25/08/10 - Site moderators being shown with background colour, when should have none.

25/08/10 - Cameras continuing to work after user has left for another room.

25/08/10 - Alphabetical camera / watchers listing.

24/08/10 - Spanner icon used for settings button to be more obvious.

24/08/10 - http link formatting, not clickable and places smile in url.

24/08/10 - Username colour to change the same as the text format colour.

24/08/10 - Add 'extra large' font size.

23/08/10 - Whitescreen bug when joining chat for some desktop users.

23/08/10 - Some couples showing as single females.

17/08/2010 - The login issue for the desktop version (the only version for IE6 and 7 Users), users can now download and login to the chat.

Unreproducible Bug Reports
These are bugs that we can't make happen, so if you could provide more info if you manage to break it, tell us how.

23/08/10 - Kick abilty staying between user created rooms, even if the user isn't the host.

23/08/10 - Kick / Ban / Room controls missing - This may just be confusion, the room controls for hosts are now located on the user menu, after you click on a user you can see kick buttons.

Thanks,

Elliot

Elliott,

Win7 + IE 8
Ran download of Adobe Air for "SH Chat" and now have "SH Chat" desktop item.

If run from "SH Chat" desktop icon, get a userid/password login screen. However using existing SH login of "hns" and "usual password" results in "Invalid username or password" error. (This being the same combination that allows me to log into SH to access this thread)

If log into SH normally and select Chatroom tab off menu, http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/chatroom/?k=0eace1fd57dc7ec31a531590b97cd237
I get the usual
- "T&Cs" statement
- "Extras Lounge" and "Enter Chatroom" options
- screen width "Launch Beta Chat"
- "speed swing"
display.

However, Sexyme09, sat alongside me with Win7, IE8, SH Chat download/desktop icon similarly can't access via desktop. At the userid/password login screen, she also fails to be able to log in, however with a different error, namely "There has been an error loading your profile. Please contact support"

However by logging into SH normally and going to Chatroom tab, she gets a different display on her http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/chatroom/?k=0eace1fd57dc7ec31a531590b97cd237 screen. Instead of screen width "Launch Beta Chat", like "Extras Lounge" and "Enter Chatroom", this 'line' on her screen is similarly split with "Launch Beta Chat" and "Launch Desktop Chat" options. Selecting "Launch Desktop Chat", she successfully gains access to the beta chat test area.

We're in (but had to switch from IE8 to Chrome).

Great selection of emoticons from the standard system - but, why-oh-why import the IM emoticons? they're awful by comparison and use a different system to the :xxxx: format of the main ones?

Still having loads of problems with the 'flash player' it keeps crashing...

Where did the room host controls go?

As the whispers are now separate - i thought we would have had an 'ignore/block' function...?
