Hello all,
I wonder if I could trouble you all for some advice please.
Can anyone tell me of any good places to stay in the Canaries that attracts very active swingers. I am particularly interested in finding out if there is much swinging at Charco del Paulo in Lanzarote. This is a very nice nudist resort which I visited for the day last time I was in the island, being just a day visitor I couldnt tell whether it was a swinging venue.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful.
Thanks
Hello all,
Have to admit to being a little dissapointed at getting no reply to my post of the 14th regarding the Canary Islands. I would have thought someone would have some advice to share with me.
Over the months I have been visiting this site it has always impressed me how much everybody helps everyone else, perhaps I have asked for something harder than I expected.
If anyone does knows the swinging places in the Canaries then please let me know.
Thanks again
Hi Rovers
I hope by posting this I haven't got your hopes up, but I'm sure if someone had logged in possessing the information they would have posted it for you. Perhaps that particular someone just hasn't logged in recently.
Can I suggest you try the chatroom, perhaps - unless you already have of course. I also recall someone posting about Tenerife in Meet Ups. Yes, I know that isn't the Canaries, but they may have some information for you.
I hope you find what you're looking for.

Ah, sorry ROVERSUP2004, this is the first time I've seen this post and I have a little something to say.
We went to Gran Canaria (Las Palmas for a couple of weeks) and stayed down in Puerto Rico for a couple of days (at a friend's apartment), so we could go up to Maspalomas nudist beach (we often/always go to places with nudey beaches nearby - it's just something we like to have there as an option
).
Anyhoo, although nudism must never be confused with out for a shag(!!!), we did find quite a few people who were definitely up for it there
So, don't know how helpful that is to you, especially since Gran Canaria isn't Lanzarote, but there you have it.
If you do manage to have some fun while you're away then do come back, resurrect this thread, and we'll exchange stories

Thanks for the help folks, anything I find i will let everyone know
Hi All
Has anybody got any info on swinging clubs, pubs etc in Alicante or any on that coast.
We are going at the end of the week and will be going quite often.
Thanks in advance
Can't tell you about the clubs etc but I do know a good place by a beach just outside Alicante where you'll find cruising and some dogging action.
PM me if you want details.
Good news! Alicante has a brilliant club - well more of a Swingers Hotel actually, called the "Charleston Paraje". It's literally on the perimeter fence of Alicante Airport, and not far from the beaches etc. You pay about €80 per night, and that includes food, drinks, accommodation and fun!
It is a Spanish club, run by and for Spanish swingers, so being able to speak the lingo will help, as I recall there were prescious few English speakers there.
See here - http://www.charlestonparaje.com/
Hi
If you are travelling abroad and are looking for information or reviews on areas, please post on this thread stating where you are going and ask people to pm you with any information they may think will be useful.
Saves cluttering everywhere up and the place looking like a travel agents.
If any commercial links are posted they will be at deleted.
Happy camping/hotelling/whatever

hi all
I'm off to the far east Lao, cambodia, vietnam, thailand really looking forward too it, has anyone been there and has got any advice for me I have a lonely planet book but this doesn't tell you everything you need to know
I've just come back from a 3 week holiday in Thailand ( Bangkok, Pattyaya and Koh Chang ). One piece of advice is reguarding money. There are ATM's all over the place, and every 7-11( Spar type mini market) has one. Take Debit and Credit cards. The best Debit card is Nationwide BS, as they absorb any overseas bank charges, they do not charge any Transaction fees, and your cash is converted at Bank rate rather than Tourist rates. The tourist rates when I was there was about 67-68 baht to the £ My bank statement shows they paid me at 75 baht to the £, and no other charges. Over a period of time this will save you quite a bit of money.
Have a good one.

Next month I have to get a new UK passport as my current one expires. In my current passport is a 10-year visitors' visa for the USA, which does not expire (that's the visa, not the USA
) until 2010. When I get my new UK passport will they transfer the visa into my new passport, or will i just have to regard it as expired, and apply for a new one? It's important as I am barred from using the Visa Waiver Scheme, for reasons I won't go into here.
Mike.
had this same problem with a Pilots entry visa, turns out when you get your new one, you get your old passport back and have to carry it with you, to prove you have a new passport, but that the old one has the valid visa.,......
slightly annoying, but the only way, without paying for a whole new visa.
