By the way, if someone is not on cam then whatever you say to them can not be classed as directing as the rule only applies to directing cammers.

Gosh icon_eek.gif icon_eek.gif

So if one was so inclined, one could open a room and ask people what they wanted to see and THEN switch on the cam !! icon_eek.gif

Bilko........ are you deliberately trying to encourage mrs f`s exhibitionist tendencies ??

Sorry for picking this out but i'm interested to know If this is actualy classed as directing? perhaps a mod or chatroom op can answer this for me as its confusing, its got me thinking, but surely asking someone if there going on cam tonight can't be classed as directing?

They didn't ask if they were going on cam, they asked if they were showing. I suspect they were already on cam when the question was asked.

Obviously, whoever was running the room interpreted that as a suggestion rather than a question, hence the conversation that followed.

People use all sorts of tricks to get round the No Directing rule by dropping hints or by asking people if they are going to do something instead of telling them to do it, so some times when the question is genuine, it can be misread.

By the way, if someone is not on cam then whatever you say to them can not be classed as directing as the rule only applies to directing cammers.

BDSM is not illegal. icon_confused.gif

I think that he was talking about Dogging... and although that isn't illegal, it is if someone viewing it (accidentally I presume) is offended and reports it.

Uhm nope, I was talking about some SM activities which are still illegal in the UK: "SM activity is an illegal assault if it results in marks or injuries which are more than transient and trifling" (www.spannertrust.org).
