Hi everyone - this is my first ever post. last night was my first ever dogging experience too. My hubby and I went up to Rivington. When we finally found the place - my god, it's lacking in sign posts up there! I found the experience very erotic and want to go again soon. It's a bit worrying reading all these warnings on here though. Could someone advise us on what to watch out for up there please?

Hi - glad you enjoyed your trip to Rivington last night 
. The problem at night there in the past has been an abundance of boy racers and piss heads around the place. You're fairly safe in winter however as these dickheads tend to be more of a summer occurance. Also, be aware if you go up there in the day, there are a lot of dog walkers and not many places to hide

Heads up people,
Two Cars, one Dark Citroen Saxo ('L' reg) the other is a light Ford fiesta (for all those that know me.. no ITS NOT MINE!!!!)
Usually 2-3 blokes in each car, been about for about 2 weeks now, had my first experience of the saxo last night... They have been reported to be blocking cars in, and stoning them - last night was just verbial abuse, whilst driving past at high speed.. mind you, they was about 10 of us standing there, so no wonder they did not stop!
Life I say, just a heads up, but watch you backs

Rivington NW
My partner went to Rivington last night (well early this morning actually) after a club for a bit of action. He got approached by some guy who obviously knew the rules of dogging, but the guy wasn't looking for sex at all. He got violent and demanded money. My partner is a martial artist and let's just say that the guy came off second best. However, it could have been a very serious situation, so watch out all you NW doggers - I wasn't there but I strongly suspect this guy has done it before - be careful

Well aint that just typical. I was at Entwhistle lastnight. Not many people about, but the police decided to raid the place, and other areas. There was i on my own and 5 police cars incuding unmarked police car, turn up to see what i was up to. They told me ehatever i was waiting on was not going to happen as they were doing a purge on the area. This was about midnight, but they had been drving around since 7pm.
Hope everything was ok at Rivington in the end. Im sure the 5 police cars and 10 police men could have been better used on a saturday night.

Call be naive, but do you think the mob handed police activity could have something to do with so many people advertising that they were heading up to Enyt Res this weekend??????????

Well if people had posted they were going to Entwhistle, not many turned up, it was a very quiet night. The police did tell me that they start checking all these areas from October onwards throughout winter. Im quite friendly with them now lol, they were there last time i went to Entwhisle. Think the best thing i can do is post an advert telling people where i will be going, then please avoid this area at all cost, as the police will turn up.

Alex, you could have a point that a lot has been said about Entwistle on the forum in the last few days, although no actual meet was organised (as far as I know) for a particular day (partly my fault ).
The mods have the power to edit posts, and I think we will be a lot more careful in future to ensure that NO exact times or locations are allowed to stay on the public board. I think we need to talk about areas for meets, rather than specific locations in future.
Seems the NW has been hit this weekend with nutters and the police, but next weekend it could be somewhere else, so I repeat, NO exact times and locations in future please.

Blue, I'm just relieved we opted for a quiet drink in the pub last night and then a snuggle in front of the telly (I was going to say TV but that would have a different conotation). We were going to have a drive up to Entwistle for a bit of a kiss and a cuddle but decided against.....Phew!

Mods are in discussion about deleting postings which give dates and times and dates - what are the views of you lot? We do need to help keep people safe from thugs, yobs and idiots and safe from the police force too. This is not a closed site - everyone can read it so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE USE PM system when making arrangements.

Alex the police were very nice about it, all 10 of them. So dont worry too much, they would not have caused you any problems. Like i say they told me they do this every year starting in October. But i agree with not posting to many details on here. I never seen the recent postings for Entwhistle. As im from Cumbria i only visit once in a while. Still 300 mile round trip was worth it.

Just a quick one, not a serious problem, but don't try Entwistle at all tonight - the roads to the car parks are very very icy indeed, you'll get in but whether you'll get out again is another matter.....

The mods have been contacted by a guy from the chat room who had a bad experience at a dogging location last night. The situation he described is potentially very serious and demonstrates that "nutters" are using this site. The situation the guy described happened something like this...
The guy chatted to a "couple" in the chat room. They agreed to meet him last night, and they arranged to meet at Shirley Hills, Croydon, Surrey (I don't know this area at all, so I hope people who do know the area know where I'm talking about). However, instead of a couple, 5 lads turned up. It was obvious from their language that they knew his chat room username. They tried to run him off the road and behaved in an aggressive manner. He believes that these lads were the "couple" from the chat room - how else would they have known his username?
This is the only info I have on the situation, and I'm posting just to tell people to be careful meeting people from the chat room.

I hope this is the right place to post this comment (sorry if it isn't but I read the whole post about trouble in Lancs) .... being new to this kind of thing I decided to visit a few of the places in the NW recently to see if there was anything going on including the Entwhistle reservoir area. After about 30 mins 2 cars approached me with a gang of local yobs on board. After speeding around the car park and generally intimidating me they started to stone my car and foolishly one of them got out of his car to try for a better shot. So, I decided to see just how hard they really are and decked him before he had chance to lay a finger on me. I gave him enough of kicking to keep his mates at bay before jumping back into my car and driving away pretty quickly! I don't make a habit of hitting random people but the 2 dents in the car really pissed me off and took some explaining back at work. I hope I've not stirred up a bit of a wasps nest where they will come and cause even more agrro but, without sounding like i'm gloating, he learnt his lesson!

WARNING
At Clophill last night, Look out for a silver Vauxhall Zafira. They were turning on their interior light when a couple approached the car. A blue light went on and the couple scarpered.
There was a blonde lady in the passsenger seat and the guy was about 6ft, black hair.
Be careful
