That one word sums it up. If we are all discrete, we incur the wrath of no one- present a united front to drive away the thugs and racers.

We need to stick together..

Folks watch out for a gang of youths posing as doggers. I was down at the Magnum car park when someone flashed their lights. I approached and saw two cars side by side. I parked up beside them and someone tried to blind me with a laser pen and they became abusive. I drove off and they gave chase trying to run me off the road. they followed me all the way to the A77 before giving up. Also watch out for people camping this weekend ay Portencross and the dunes at Stevenston

Just be careful all

What were you doing that required a ticking off?

Nowt, I was the only person there, around 11.30, I'd just parked up, lit a fag and was wondering around finding my bearings when 3 of them drove up in corsa. They took some details etc, then one of them took me to one side and said he knew that I was here looking for "sexual activity".
That's it really

Complaints from residents are leading to increased police patrols in the area.
Details here http://fwd4.me/0gwS

Personally, I think the neighbours shouldn't be so nosey....

It's purely because morons have started going there...Morons being intrusive and ignorant single males ( not all single males are intrusive and ignorant btw! ), but the Morons are ALWAYS single males.

Stupid blokes who treat it like the M1... and just keep driving up and down all night...Wonder why this drew the resident's attention???

We scrapped going there many, many months back.... all that was missing was an 8 foot x 8 foot sign lit up in Neon saying "DOGGING SITE AHEAD ". LOL!!

Of course, it'll be even worse now you've put it on forum, although on the plus side it'll keep the numpties in one place LOL.

At least we still have, and share, 3 or 4 really quiet sites both North and South of the Tyne with males and couples who know how to keep a secret just that..a SECRET!!

I'm not sure why putting a warning in a Dogging forum (read by Doggers) is going to make things any worse than the large article in the Newcastle Journal which I linked (read by the wider public).

Quite simply because there are MANY men on this site who will suddenly appear at the site...that's why! One or two may be genuine... but 99% won't be... and they cause more trouble than it's worth.
You don't have to believe us.... but, trust us, we speak from experience, and you only have to read other posts on this forum from other areas who've suffered similarly, which will bear witness to what we've said. .... and we're already aware how much that site has deteriorated due to idiot males. The likelihood of Journal readers deciding to arrive en masse (LOL) is way less than the appearance of single disruptive males who frequent ( some would say haunt ) this site.... icon_smile.gif

Certainly no offence aimed at you... and apologies if you think that was the case...

Worst thing you can do is leave, move or otherwise cause them to notice you..

I have always found, that when seeing a poilce car, flick the radio to Radio4, slip down in the seat and pretend to be doing 'dosing' or clearing texts off the phone, or even close one eye on the side they are approching from and stay still changing eyes as they pass.

Usually 1 of 3 things happen..

They see you sleeping as they drive by in thier headlights and leave you alone.. icon_lol.gif

They will get out and approach your car, close both eyes and wait to see if they knock and if they do, make out that they startled you and rub your eyes. If you make out they really made you cr*p your pants, they normally apologise and walk off.

If they come over and ask what you are doing, simply say chilling listening to the radio. The reality is, unless they actually catch you with your pants down or staring into a parked car, they can do absolutly NOTHING other ask you to leave or move on and at the point, just say ok and leave calmly..

Many times, I see cars racing for the exits and either be stopped by a second waiting car to ambush them as they are flushed out, or seen the only car that leaves being chased.

Dont bring on attention, sit tight and if asked what you are doing, dont forget you are doing nothing wrong.

Dont be cocky, but if they start asking silly questions or making accusations, stand your ground and let them know that sat in a car in the middle of the night is not breaking any laws.

The number of times I have been told 'its a bit late at night to be going to shop at ASDA' to which I usually reply, 'strange why ASDA is open all night then?'

The other one is to be told that 'why are you at a dogging site' to which I normally reply, 'dogging, wow, I had no idea' or 'a dogging site, you sure as I aint never seen anything happen here, have you got the right place?' and my favourite 'dogging, is that why people keep walking over to cars that pull in and put the lights on? at least I know what they are up to now, thanks for letting me know'

'Getting some fresh air' is always a good answer to 'what are you doing here'..

Got caught with pants down last week and after some banter with the copper, just told us all to go home.. Suppose it depends who you get..

have been informed by reliable source that the police are also installing covert cctv cameras at various sites in the north east to record number plates and car movement . so be careful . have stopped going now , not worth the risk .

what a pathetic and ridiculous country we live in, with all thats wrong in this country i would have thought police time and money would be better targeted at other more disturbing crimes, and there is plenty of them that the police just don`t seem to get a grip on,. I supose they will start prosecuting now from this investment once again like motorists, it`s easy targets with lots of profit for them ...

well thats me done for now not worth the risk if cameras are about...tryed a little further up the coast last night and a cop car was parked up empty.. the only action is in cars as theres nothing else but a huge drop and rock a few empty cars where there the only thing i can think of is that the cops where checking if they were fishing and went down to look..
