I love to cook so I like it but Greg "the ingredients expert"(?) is kind of annoying.

The way he describes everything he's eating grates more that anything "Hmmm....I'm getting sausages, I'm getting beans, I'm getting chips"

Of course you are, IT'S SAUSAGE, CHIPS AND BEANS YOU EEDJIT!

I saw Masterchaf on T.V last night. Crap, those two crappy guys have got to be the worst crap presenters ever. The old Masterchef, not so crap, had something about it. You know the original with that snooty(sort of?) bloke from the States whoever he was.

This program now is just crap with two crap presenters patting them crappy selves on the crappy back. Money for not just old but crap rope.

Crappy crap crap by two crappy sappy chappies talking crap.

Not the only ones to speak crap I know i know icon_biggrin.gif

I love the programme and the celebrity master chef too

loads better than that drip Lloyd Grossman.

I managed to see it a couple of times. I thought the format was much better than the previous version years a go hosted by Grossman... where u could master a couple of dished and win it, not exactly proving that you are in fact a "Master Chef" icon_lol.gif

Anyone else read about the antics of the slappy head presenter in the news papers the other week??

In agreement

This programme takes the biscuit for being crap. It's half baked presenters don't help either.

do i get the impression you think its a bit crap then

i actually like it but then i spend hours watching the food channel, and i dont mind john n greg, better than bloody lloyd grossman, and the chefs get lots more tasks than the old show including being placed in a professional kitchen, it seems more open to normal people and not the snobby lot that used to be on the olds show.

so stop trashing my program!!! lol

Earthy xxx

I'm with you on this one Earthy. I actively enjoy this programme because it is far better now than it was with Gross Lloydman.

I also think that the shouty headedness is a new feature, which no doubt has been create by some noodle neck marketing geek, but one that I can ignore.

In terms of cookery programmes I think it is dynamic and a refreshing change from the usual sedate fare, and I have picked up many interesting cookery tips and ideas.

I actually got hooked on this programme. I can't cook / wont cook but love food and love watching people who can cook and are inventive.

I am going to "out" myself now icon_smile.gif.... I actually got really hooked on it.....

The four programme "final" was absolutely brilliant!!!!!

I so wanted johnny to win, but I am glad James did.... and so for emily... wow, I wish I could of cooked like that when I was 18!!! I might not be so single if I did...... icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I'm with you there Fabio, my money was on Johnny, but I think ultimately James deserved to win.

Emily was a star a truly talented cook, but there was something about her that irritated me at the same time.
