OK, so here's a question if someone is behaving irresponsibly as the host of a room (for example kicking people without good reason) should they be reported to chatroom ops / Admin or should we just get on with it and ignore them?

I would normally opt for the get on and ignore 'em attitude but this of course doesn't help make the site a better experience for others?

Yeah !! this is important !!

All sorts of stuff can be overlooked on a regular basis. But when you decide to host a room you should know the rules and stick by them !!

If you ever come across a room host breaking the rules .......

Report Em !! as soon as ya can ...

OK I quite agree ...... but would this not overload the chatroom ops who are probably busy enough icon_question.gif

I personally would be happy to report mismanagemnt of rooms as it spoils it for all users but at the same time I am aware that ops aren't paid workers, are doing it in their free time and probably have better things to do dunno.gif

Report - always. It cannot and should not be one rule for one and one for another. The room host has a responsibility to uphold the AUP and rules. It cannot and should not be otherwise.

Good point kinky

To be honest ...If you are finding so many problems with room hosts that you think you might overload the ops ....

Maybe it`s you !! icon_wink.gif

just a thought , if a couple want to advertise on here as a couple wouldnt it pay for the site to put an option on there profile saying that they have been verifed as a couple , it could go along the line of that the female part of the couple has to phone admin to verify that they are a couple and if they cant it must state on their profile that they arent verified . dont know hard it would be to step up. just a thought ,

i have and would again report a badly hosted room as i know others have also reported people for having a couples profile and been found out to be a single conning others into believing they a couple

if a room is hosted by somone who is booting people at random and not giving fair and just warnings then they shouldt be hosting rooms at all making others enjoment of the site less happy and even scaring people from joining in the conversation for fear of getting booted out of a room.

A tongue in cheek response .... I hope icon_wink.gif

But to make a rather more serious point, lets say only a hnadful of more experienced / well known / more vocal icon_wink.gif members report at the moment if this increased by 2 or 3 times the number would we be creating a problem for the ops?

Just a thought?

When in chatland and ermmmmmm casually looking through profiles as one does whistling.gif It occurs, not infrequently that we happen upon couples profiles which on further exploration we discover that they are single. Is this reportable, and should we?

It seems to me that a couples tag should mean a couple. Ok I'm not too naive to believe that all are as they should be, but. If the profile is on a couple tag then goes on to state he or she are single, play as a single and the partner/second half of the profile is n/a'd throughout and, with some the ads are from singles looking for.....etc, then surely thats not quite right is it.

The AUP states :- No person is allowed to pass themselves off as a different gender unless it is the case, blah blah blah. But this seems inadequate a guideline.

[color=blue]So, to report or not report?

Def report. icon_eek.gif

We have heard the " dont want to pay to change it " milarky! I think it cost a fiver ffs. I know of a person who is def posing as a couple and when I see him in the room cos he knows that I know, he instantly leaves the room.

There are many reasons why this happens. The major one is he feels he has more chance with a couples profile and the other is he has no intention of meeting anyway. Before anyone says " its not just guys " I have never known a female to pose as a couple to get a meet. Dont think she would have too1 icon_eek.gif

There is so much deception in swinging. icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I really hope you have reported this profile so that we/Admin can check it out and do something about it?

I did not if honest as I have been slated before for reporting a dodgy room. Cos I put it in the wrong section of the forum. icon_eek.gif

If a single guy is posing as a couple it is very difficult to prove if " he " says otherwise.I have now though. x

A superb idea but think it is long down the road of starting this now with so many members. I have always advocated a system where people can leave feedback. Even if only positive feedback could be given, it would at least let others know that they..meet and turn up, and are genuine nice people. Negative feedback could not be given though, I feel that would work well.

Feedback is a big no-no for us, as we believe that one of the important traits in swinging is discretion.

We don't want folks knowing who we've played with as thats our business and no-one elses.

Verification of couple acounts could be done with a answerphone system similar to leaving a message like the voice ads, but of course just by the female half.

One of our biggest bug-bears that we have come across is accounts that have said created in 2003/2004/2005/2006 and the female half is "now" 18.... I mean WTF! and yes we do report those profiles!

That is a true comment for you. But you could always ask whoever you met not to leave any feedback. Those who want to can.

I have always said whilst it will not eradicate the timewasters on here at least if people have something written, you know they are genuine. There is nothing worse than a timewaster. We belong to another site that has always had feedback and it does work really well. As I have also said, only being able to leave positive things, as to leave anything negative would not work.

I feel if SH were to have something like that in place, once it had been running for a while I feel people, thats the genuine people out there, would love it. icon_lol.gif

I can honestly say that if this site introduced feedback or verification, or whatever you want to call it, I for one, would cancel my account on here.

We use other sites and are verified/have feedback on them, but one of the main things I love about this place is the fact that it is more community based rather than everyone knowing who shagged who and how good/bad they were.

This subject has just reminded me of an occasion when I questioned the profile of a 'member'.

Without naming names he was professing to own a weapon of a certain size and this was part of his profile name.

Just being curious, you understand, I asked the young man if he indeed was carrying that much of his person in his trousers..........

Yes he said.

Ok I said, give us a look then............being a cheeky woman and kind of taking advantage of the young lad and the MILF fantasy icon_twisted.gif You show me yours and I will show you mine icon_eek.gif

Oh he said, then owned up to only having a man hood of considerably smaller proportions but would you still like to see it? Obviously I declined as that would have been taking advantage of him in a time of emotional crisis icon_biggrin.gif

People use profile names and descriptions in many ways. I thought this young man was honourable but just misguided in his use of quoted inches........disappointment will no doubt shadow his time here, but you never know do you.

I didnt report him under the Trade Descriptions Act (this bit is a joke obviously!!)

I think that most people who have a couples profile when they single joined as a couple then split and maybe seeing as they have already paid £50 to join they resent having to pay more money to update their profile so find it easier to just leave the second persons detale blank. I dont think they trying to con anyone really

Why doesnt the site then, allow the single guy who aren't in a couple anymore to change their profile to single for free? That will stop them using the excuse that they wont pay to change it... the site can then make their money with a higher charge to upgrade to a couples account.

I dont always belive everything I hear...................but is it true that if someone looks at a profile and the said person only has face pictures on.....then another person comes and looks at it and dont like the pictures can they report the profile as being offencive?
