i have avg anti-virus.
when i recently upgraded this it conflicted with my zonealarm firewall.
it was only once i uninstalled the firewall and replaced it with another all my internet activity returned to normal.

What i ended up doing was to remove zonealarm completely. Upgrade the AVG and then reload zonealarm. Seems to be all ok at the mo. Although i did have to disable part of the link scanner as i said earlier icon_smile.gif

Yeah - pin20 usually - this is because cheaper motherboards dont have pin20 removed and some motherboards do actually use pin20 - you are wise to not try a mod or a hack and just buy a new IDE cable icon_lol.gif

Has anyone got any experience in fixing a PSP those little handy held game thingies?

My son has one and the start and volume buttons don't work, I rang one place yesterday and he said its probably the motherboard? because that is near those buttons? I do not have a clue if this is true or not but don't want to pay over the odds to get it fixed

Its still usable on some games the volume is stuck on high so he uses headphones but does not wear them and some of the games don't need the start button to start I guess

thank you

Thats not a common problem that I have known about

You could try getting Sony to replace it for free, see this guide http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=703153

You may have to tell some porkys but worth a go.
