Help Required Please

I use IE.

My point is, i never have this problem on anything else. I use dif sites with chatrooms and i don't get it. Everything always opens in seperate windows. I have checked my settings like i said previous. Like i said earlier, this hadn't happened all the time i have been a member untill that day back in may when the new link was made for the chatroom and it wasn't only me that had to start using that link.

It seems to happen more in a morning.

I have just tried agaain when i logged in chat to open a profile... and guess what? im now waiting 5 mins to get bk in!!

The only way i can do it now is to stay in chat.. open a new window and sign into the forum where i will have to use search engine to view a profile.

I've just made some adjustments that should help.


Log out, close the chat, go back in and see how you get on now.

Just to add;

Before the change, when you go back into chat after leaving it to view a profile, if you hadn't returned via the original chat window and had tried to return via the one you popped out on, opening profiles would have been over the chatroom, it would also explain the 5 minute wait as you would have either still had the original chat window open or it would have been closed.

Since the new link for the chatroom that day...which this thread was origionally based on.. I have never had a new window open for chat. Once i have clicked the chatroom tab and clicked where is says "if you cannot open the charoom click here" (words to that effect) it has always opened over the forum. Possibly thats why the profiles always open over the chat room??
