Today I was behind an OAP at the supermarket checkout. He tried putting in his PIN number a few times but had obviouslly forgotten it. He was very distressed and confused and his wife was getting very upset. He was only buying a small pack of Duracell batteries.

I butted in and told the young girl on the till that I would pay for them.

The look on the old mans face was worth 100 times the £2.99 that I paid. He was so grateful and relieved to get through. He held his wifes hand and left the store.

Today I one £5 on a scrathcard - I'm smiling icon_biggrin.gif
