Today my best friend looked out for me big time and i no all the time he's looking out for me i'm gonna be ok

I was out with friends in the early hours with a huge bunch of vanilla friends with a wide range of lifestyles and backgrounds.

We decided to pay a visit to the local gay night club cos the atmosphere is great and the music is fabulous. A couple of the guests ,"straight professional" types ( although I hate labels it gets the message across) were quite intimidated by the prospect. Having decided to stay sober I witnessed a wonderful discussion about what they could do to avoid being chatted up by the blokes at the club and the advisability/respectability of this endeavour. The discussion was generally good natured and not in my view homophobic simply misinformed. At one point one of the "straight professionals" suggested that they pretended to be a gay couple in the hope that this would stave off any predators. The look of horror on the other chaps face as he strove manfully and drunkenly to explain why he thought this was a bad idea without offending anybody was comedy at its best.

Eventually a few folk allayed the fears of a few others and we all arrived at the club safely. When we arrived the first thing that happened was that a young incredibly attractive and scantily clad woman who wasnt part of our group ran across the room and smothered one of the "straight professionals (horror face)" in hugs and kisses. Once he had recovered sufficiently I said in jest "blimey mate I reckon you have pulled". He laughed like a drain when he revealed that the kiss smotherer was a trainee administrator at the accountancy firm where he was a partner and their only previous contact had been polite greetings in the lift. It took me a good twenty minutes to persuade him that contrary to his belief this chance meeting would probably do his reputation at work the power of good.

I bloody love people me.

Meeting a really lovely lady at the weekend...

And being treated really nicely at Premier Inn... I had an accident while there, and they phoned me last night when we got home to make sure that I was ok! Right made my day that.
