Last month I done the same... filled half a wheelie bin with the weedy looking buggas I did

However it did occur to me to leave just one... coff coff... ahem
...er ...weed in situ coz I was puzzled as to why I had so many of the same type 
A few days later I passed an allotment (fuck me, me ring piece never felt the same after that
)
& with a slack jaw I spied my weeds sporting the most gawjusly pinky purple thru to violetey colours!

Thats better than Tan style gardening

Its in the way - burn it/chop it/ send in mad child with some pretend toy weapon that will thoroughly get rid
Looks like grass with lots of none flower things in - chuck some bleach down
Looks like a stump - used to be a bush/tree/flower that said mad child has already dealt with
Either that or go for a wild garden that lots of wildlife visits (until the council complains) then take a heavy duty strimmer to the lot treating with bleach afterwards
