New Tagging Of Pics feature !!!

I don't in any shape or form for my pictures to be tagged by anybody apart from myself. In the past I have had comments about me being a BBW, and although I am proud of being one, It's my choice to tag myself, and not for other people to do it.

The majority of people on here are very nice, but there are a few "twats" who ruin in for the rest.

So all my pics are now private, and will stay like it until the "tagging" is taken off, or until my sub runs out, which ever first.

Not happy with this at all.

yes i totally agree, face pics are not 18 +, i dont mind members knowing what i look like,but i dont want minors ( not because i think im horror ugly to be rated 18 lol)or non members to see me. the only option is to keep it private.

i dont want to sound discriminatory, but then any tagging /labeling could be seen as that, but there are so many black/white rooms etc why isnt that a option in the search or tag facility?

ok before im jumped on, i know some dont want to be known for being black or white, but maybe i dont wann be tagged as bi or bbw?

noo, they wouldnt let minor join, but some probally do lol,but minors can view the site the threads etc without having to log in.

no if its got 18 + tag then it wont be in the gallery for non members to see, or viewable on my profile.

but from what i gather non members can no longer view all the gallery, just a tease front page.

So I understand its so you can search on photos by distance from you as well as various other things, wouldnt it be better to improve the search engine on here first as I wouldnt want to search someone just by pictures, I can see them when I look on profiles.

I'm sorry, but does ANYONE actually believe this - - - "The 1-10 scale isn't a rating, it's the quality of the image not the content." is what will happen? I certainly don't.

I agree a relevant search that includes or is based on what images are available is needed - but a subjective judgment on quality (be it subject or image quality) is wholly inappropriate. The people making these value judgments are not monitored, guided or even asked to justify their judgments and - as far as I have understood - their input is entirely anonymous. Validation is bad enough - anonymous validation (by any other name) is unacceptable.

If admin want to have everyone put their images in private galleries so no-one gets to see them without an invite, they have done exactly the right thing.

I have never cared who looked at my pictures - I have none in private galleries, but I will be spending the night working out how to put them in a private gallery. I also wish to be informed how to remove the tags that are already on them. Or is being the public subject of other people's anonymous judgments mandatory now?

Frankly the more I think about this, the angrier I get.

But hang on I dont mind my photos being in the public gallery and I know people can view them all and it might take hours to find ours on there, and I dont mind them being viewed by my profile, but I dont want people then being able to search for people by my photos on how far away they are from me.

For one I would like the system to be sorted so the pictures collectors can not download any pictures from the site for a start.

And I have tagged some of the pictures on our soul_girl accounts, then went onto our soul_boy account and viewed the pictures on soul_girl account and I could tag them again through soul_boy account.

I think our pictures will be staying in private for now.

The thing i dont understand is this, why are admin encouraging picture collectors and timewasters on the site?

The reason i say this is because i always thought this was a swinging site, a site were people could find like minded people to enjoy consenting adult fun. Not a site where you come to browse amature porn.
Like someone on here has already commented pics are far to easily taken from the site, making it a picture collectors paradise, and now we want to catagorise each and every picture so that they can search and find what they want even more easily!

If anything we need a better profile search not a photo search. Firstly adding a logged in this week/fortnight/month so that we only bring up active members when searching. Also improving the search so it only gives the searcher results that they are compatable to...

E.G.

Single male searches for couples in a 30 mile radius... the search would only bring up couples who are looking for single men who live within that distance. Therefor helping to cut down unwanted messages from those who dont bother reading profiles or just chance their hands...

If you really wanted to go whole hog you could go into more detail such as personal preferences - age range, race, size, full/soft swap etc

I dont see how catagorising pictures helps in any way, the information people need to know about whoever is in the pictures should be in the profile... if anything admin should restrict access to the site to all those who have not filled in their profile that would be far more benificial.
