I would say stags, that until there is a massive event of some kind to upset the modern way of life, then things will remain just as they are.

ok heres a modern example.In iceland the prime ministers phone number is in the phone book.Just because they have been chosen for a brief period to be in charge they are given no special status.

You dont need to look to animals to see societies that work better than our class ridden one.

So your implication is that our prime minister's phone number not being in the phone-book is due to class and status. Mine isn't either...........along with tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of others who are ex-directory!

I'd get rid of my house phone but there doesn't seem any point. I spend about £1.45 on calls and the rest, about £15.50, is line rental and other stuff. And I need the land-line for Sky and Broadband. So I might as well keep it.

we have cable broad band

we got sky but don`t have a line as we don't use the ppv channel's

our mobiles are registered to the business . 1000 mins a month to any network for £20. we really not got a need for a land line

the kids have capped mobiles 750 mins cross network 3000 3 mobile min's and 3000 texts a month for 20 quid a month which comes out their allowance

I haven't got a phone or phone line,I never use the internet so I don't need one,I took the battery out of my mobile kept it and threw the phone away,I send my posts on here by carrier pigeon,all other communication is by means of either smoke signals or shouting very loudly
