Woahhhhhh!!!! hold them horses even if they are made of wood!!!! The thing about rocking horses is that they are made of wood, have no personality and have lifeless eyes.

I agree with most of what you are saying dirty girl however, you have just proved a point mentioned in many threads, which most single girls on here defend themselves against. The fact that some single girls think of themselves as "rocking horse shit" and are so "wanted" by every facet of the swinging community that they can some how behave different to the rest of us. I'm not saying that you do, but you attached the label! Single girls don't make the swinging world go around its the polite, funny and honest people out there. I can live without single girls........but life would be boring without the polite, funny honest peeps be they, couples, single guys or girls.

Sorry... I should have made it clear that I was using the rocking horse reference to make the point. It certainly beats the 'holy grail' label but it's not something I would use to describe myself either. I don't think single girls are like hens teeth to use another, I think there are lots of single girls out there, it's usually people who can't seem to find one who attach those sort of labels. icon_lol.gif I don't think for a second that single girls make the swinging world go round, personally I think the couples do that but you're 100% right about it being the polite, funny, honest people who make this place and the social aspect what it is regardless of their gender or marital status and Shrep or no Shrep, they'll not just be a no show at an event. icon_wink.gif

I agree with Flower. So far not having it hasn't hampered my exploits one bit. And no-one has said to me - 'Hey, as you dont have shrep, can you give me any other guarentees or references please?' Nor have i thought to ask them. Saying we will suffer for our Shrepless ways is a tad dramatic!

Too much stock can be placed on these things i think. I wonder how many of the non attendees of the socials live outside a certain radius say, or haven't been to a social before, or have kids, or work weekends.

I do know of other sites with verification where some people avoid the dreaded "hardened" swingers by choosing not to play with those who have extensive verification records. Just a thought like.

Well I don't reckon there's much value to be had in Shrep as it stands. We've been 'verified' four times, all by people we've never actually met, and none of whom can possibly know for sure whether we're swingers or swongers (I learned a new word last night icon_lol.gif) I get the feeling that there's an expectation to return the favour, but I don't feel comfortable vouching for someone I've never met. I have more than enough experience of people's Internet Personas and how radically they can differ from what (if anything) you get in real life.

Meet rep is the only one I'd give any consideration to, and we weren't able to leave meet rep for the one couple that we have met through here who did have Shrep enabled. To do so, we'd have had to pre-plan the meeting through SH, rather than just doing what I'm sure most people do, and exchanging PMs, followed by phone calls.
