I really can't imagine why you think that New Chat is better!! It is far worse!!!!!!

And the new video section with its postage stamp videos is just a scam to get us to upgrade.
I thought better of you!!

I like the new chat. Much easier interface with regards to whispers and profile viewing, but for pity's sake sort out the disconnecting issue as a priority.

my bug is when i click view profile it opens up behind neccesitating the cloing of the room screen i have to view in full screen or i lose half the chat
even in full screen when i return it chops bottom of chat of
win7
firefox latest

after using my cam in the new chatroom for around 5 minutes the chat becomes slow and cam flickers when a new line of text enters the room.
also the icon box doesnt always go and blocks the chat.

use my cam on other sites with no problem.works ok in old chat.

The tabbed whispers is by far the best feature of the new chat. We don't care what you do with the 'inline' whispers, but keep the tabs!

For those of us that use mainroom inline whispers something to contrast between whisper and main chat along the lines of italics or bold would be a handy feature.

I prefer inline whispers too. The challenge the development team now has is that they've implemented italics and bold as features of standard open chat, so they'll need to come up with another way of uniquely highlighting whispers.
