As to travelling .....right now we like to keep things close to home....that`s partly laziness and partly work .....in other circumstances we`d travel for the right people but I don`t think we`d go too far for anybody we hadn`t met already.

I'd agree with that, depends on who and what the further you go I'd say the higher the expectations, though as a biker it could be a nice excuse for some prolonged foreplay ( the ride over ) as long as there were some nice roads betwixt us. but more than a couple of hours and I reckon I'd be hoping for some respite and a bacon sarnie in the morning
all by car and ferry, well worth every minute for meeting such nice folks 
scotland, belfast, wales, essex, herts, manchester, birmingham, blackpool, wakefield, all over the uk basically and the were all worth it some fab people
