Apart from the sensible things already said by lots of folk (great thread, btw!) one of the totally irrational things that can really put me off someone is... their voice!

I've just had a message which highlighted another thing that puts me off ....
Yes I may be interested in how well endowed a guy is but I really dont care how well off he is!! Why would I want to know if someone's rich ffs, it aint like I'm asking for money!!

we went down the avenue of a long list of dos and dont and likes and dislikes then realised hardly anyone read it anyway and it does put people off and to be honest trying to find the 'right' play mates is hard enough.. so now we say what we are , we say what people need to do to take things further.. We dont, its just a time thing. You know if you set web cam up its not going to be 5 mins. We wouldn't be able to go on cam prior to 8pm due to kids and after that all we wanna do is veg in front of the telly. Anyway no one wants to see Mrs Tweekys spotty bag or my Spiderman pyjamas

there you go then... web cams are plug and play these days.. 3 seconds.. id say.. just to keep you up to speed guys. like i said i know its contentious.
These days they are but ours is five years old does not work very well unless its daylight and needs a driver disc to be installed. Would have to do that on the laptop now as well as the PC is in a dingy stock room. We could do Kinect though Kinect adventures can be played online

Also rude people, I once had a guy who private messages me on chat telling me to open my mouth so he could piss in it!!! A bit of common courtesy wouldn't go a miss with some people on here!!! X

Opening the Kinect to modders is of course interesting but will it provide anything useful? The problem I find with modders are a large percentage of them seem obsessed with making something do something that something else already does
Therefore in the long run what they do is often totally pointless. Its more of a personal challenge to a lot of them to see if they can get that machine to do that task. There seem to be very few modders who actually work on making anything do anything new or useful 
I am a long term member of a community where one of the prime aims is to restore on line services for games that have had services terminated. Getting anyone to work on this kind of stuff is very hard work. It seems many modders would rather see if they can make a PS3 emulate a ZX spectrum or run linux when you can already emulate a ZX spectrum and run Linux on 57000 other machines

Provided the people are whom they have represented themselves to be and everyone is comfortable, they then need to be clean and sweet smelling..I almost forgot sober, drunks who I don't know well enough to overlook it are not gettin into bed with me. I couldn't care less about dress sense or lack of it, and intellect was never part of the criteria so by this stage we're all on common ground. Of course being a single guy they probably didn't expect me to turn up anyway. I've got to agree with Ben too, that some people are just creepy, but I have done a bit of escort work so I've no apprehensions about meeting new people, been there so many times and met a couple of strange ones. Don't worry about upsetting someone by walking away... trust your instincts.
