Disagree with the bit in bold completely. When we tried other sites we did exactly the same as we did when we started here 6 years ago. We sent messages to those who were using the site i.e. on line or recently updated profiles. Same actions totally different results and they are both swinging sites.
There could be numerous factors. One there are more people our age elsewhere or at least more % of people our age. Second this site is chat heavy, a lot of successful social organisers are prolific chat users. I have no time or desire to use chat, it bores the pants off me and its far to much of a drain on my time. I pop in on the odd time to time but thats as much as its ever likely to be.

Swinging Heaven worked for us
our meets these days are limited by our choice , we know our profile will make very many pass us by but that suits us. If we wanted to meet more people we would have a friendlier approach to things somewhat.. one thing we have learned is people get put off, as we do , very easily by what people say on profiles, ours is 'aggressive' one single guy told us, others say 'epic' and 'they love it;
Talking on here and being 'known' im certain does not help at all. People pre judge you, on other sites where we are unknown we get far more chancers saying fancy a meet, trouble is they are often not to our liking so no benefit of the masses to be had.
I SEE A GUY IN CHAT TRYING DESPERATLY TO ARRANGE A MEET ALL THE TIME, he goes about it totally wrong then moans the site is shit, if you havent had a meet here in 6 years then id look at how you are going about it before complaining too much. This isnt a club or social its A SWINGING web site.. very different. You have to adapt your approach to suit the environment you are in.

so you reckon you can use this place as you would a swingers club and expect the same success ? i take it you misunderstood what i was meaning by adapting your approach to suit the environment you are in. i wasnt referring to site to site but site to bar, club, social etc etc..
yes i agree this place is chat heavy your not using that may contribute to lack of success because posting in the forum doesnt bring you meets in our experience, quite the opposite i reckon, unless its lets meet up as opposed to all the rest fo the rooms here.
