This was taken out of context and did no way refere to Mark. It was about another site and was made as a follow up comment I made to a Mod in PM

When I realised it was wrong and the mod shown anger it was removed by me but unfortunately to late as the quote had been made.

Further down the thread you will see I did make an apology about it.

Mr. Ben, why don't you just drop it and watch quietly? You'll probably end up banned anyway if you carry on posting the same stuff over and over - which is what you're doing. You're also being very insulting to other members by insinuating that we're not clever enough to see what's happening. What IS happening is that some of us are waiting to see what will become of the site as we know it, then we will decide to stay or go, as we see fit. OK?

I don't mean to be offensive to other members. I'm sorry if it came accross that way. Just want people to open their eyes a little or you might get caught sleeping.

I have quite strong views on community and the world of business. Sorry if this offends. I don't like Symbios. I don't like mobile phone companies. I don't like Telewest. I don't like ring-tone companies. I don't like any organisation that trys to make money in any other way than providing a good honest product. but I love people. This sort of thing niggles at the very root of my political persuasion. Sorry if you don't agree.

I won't sit on the fence though because you lot don't like me.

I must confess I have today felt some peer pressure not to raise my concerns.

I know that we do not post here very often, we use the photo ads more than the forum, and so we are not really a part of the SH community, at least not in the same way as those here that post and attend munches etc, but we are concerned.

Lets not jump too hard on people who are raising their concerns.

Are you suggesting that a ringtone company is not selling a good honest product? It's not ilegal, you know what you are buying, you know how much you are paying, what's the problem with that then? Just cos you don't approve doesn't make it a bad thing.

Some ringtone companies, those operating premium rate services, have in the past behaved badly, poor pricing information, misleading advertising. Symbios have NOT been involved in this. Actually quite the opposite, but I think that is where the bad reputation relating to rintgtones comes from.

I should say that this is only some premium rate companies, there are lots of very honest companies in the business.
