Glad you approve Kaz

I'd agree that Northern Soul nights (sadly I was too young for Wigan), lead a direct path to all night raves and UK house music!

A 'movement' about music (from Rave, to house, to Northern Soul) is sadly what the young today lack and can't get their teeth into - it is an essential part of growing up....I can't bring myself to call the sad nonsense that is X-Factor 'a movement' - this generation will be lacking musical references if Cowell has his awful way.

i often wonder if there is a movement out there,that is passing me by,but then think how could the mods,the punks,rave,have passed anyone by.There does seem to be a hole at the heart of music today.

But then i bet the cavemen looked at their kids banging the rocks together and wondered how the hell anyone could dance to that!
