The four-letter word everyone longs to hear
To have that special someone whisper it in your ear
We wait our whole lives for the real thing
Many times mistaking what was only a fling

When you find that someone, you'll know it's real
Because in your heart, it will be love you feel
When you look in their eyes and feel your heart beating
You'll know it's the love that is never fleeting

Unselfishly you give your heart...
Hoping and praying it will not be torn apart
If ever this love proves not to be true
He'll leave with something belonging to you
A part of your heart forever he'll take
You will get over this, for your own sake

After all, you must still go on
For it is not your whole heart that is gone
Many believe in love at first sight
If you find that someone, hold on tight

Work on the relationship to make it grow
And in time you will know
If this is the love, you've waited your life for
You will never want or need... anything more

We travelled around a fifteen inch globe.
So unlike our fore fathers bold.
We did this using chip and glass.
Wires, solders, connections of brass.

A place was found on just a chance
Initial intent was just to glance
Dipped in dipped out as many do
It seemed no different on first view

But as we spied through an open door .
We saw a place not seen before.
A town of people, but spread around.
Talking noisily yet making no sound.

A town like any other with rules and laws.
But not built, no boundaries, no counties, no shores.
A town that talked, like communities of old.
Residents diverse, some warm some cold.

People that offered opinion, advice.
Banter, chatter , warmth and ice.
Colour and life, apparent, unseen.
Characters strong, characters lean .

We knocked the door and entered unseen
We listened to words from heart and spleen
We watched, we saw, we ventured to speak
Initial apprehension, feeling humble and weak

This place we found, beckoned us in.
Never asking our colour, nor previous sin.
We were with friends, yet they were unknown.
A town we visited from inside our home.

We talked and chattered with diversity of folk.
With picture and key we conversed and spoke.
We tip toed where we would normally stride.
We posted words sat side by side.

As time went by, we became more entwined
getting bolder as we found that folk didn’t mind.
Never offending, yet up for a lark.
We sat near our globe from morning till dark.

The town had become a part of our life.
We could share it together, as husband and wife.
Each day of waking was a chance for more.
How pleased we were that we had found this door.

We thought we had found a place to be
Yet already some do disagree.
It matters not because for now we are driven
To remain in residence at that town
of swingheaven.

GUILTY

Frail yet complete
An incumbent, still tender.
A life neared its end
Not ready to surrender.

Look in a box of sepia print
View pretty, view nubile.
Compare what was, against what is,
Floral chairs, aid to be mobile.

A life of care, concern, nurture
Expectation knew no different.
To serve the spouse and child
This title of parent.

The guilt is complete
Yet alone not enough.
Life to busy, to hectic
To rushed.

She deserves more
Than is offered or given.
Sons and daughters silently aware
Effort derisory, thin spread, cures are in vision.

Not enough for sacrifice done
Tears as much for guilt, as the parent gone.

escape to Buxton

The meeting place was random the anticipation ran high
your eager to impress that's no word of a lie
you set eyes on each other your heart skips a beat
5 minutes later your strapped in your seat.

the key's in you turn it, not a groan or a click
you get out and fix it you aint no chick
a fettle a swear and a grunt and a groan
no need for the AA you can stay off that phone!

The phone firmly stowed and the keys set to go
she fires up instantly i can feel that inner glow
out of the car park is it left or is it right
who gives a monkeys we can drive all night

Out of the gates leave your troubles behind
this is the sort of ride i had in mind
we are stopping and starting the traffic’s a mess
where are we going? i couldn’t care less

the wind in your hair and the suns rays on your face
come on Sunday drivers lets up the pace
With traffic lights and stop signs all there for a reason
its not what im after i needed more freedom

Im sure macclesfield has nice parts but its not my cup ot tea
lets head to Buxton on the A573
the open road awaits, many a challenging curve
put trust in your machinery man don’t loose your nerve

the miles they fly by the air it smells sweeter
the fuel consumption in this things measured in gallons per meter
the company's fab what more can i say
what a great way to spend your Sunday

The hills are a challenge at some points quite steep
this day ranks quite highly in the memories i keep
we pull in for a cuppa and something to nibble
the conversation’s good broken only by the odd giggle

Hot chocolate, a scone with plenty of cream
i think we made quite a groovy team
its time for a wee and get strapped back in
a quick flick of the key and she's burbling again

Its back on the road, Buxton's not far a way
you feel for the biker who has ruined his day
he looks kind of lifeless but what can you do
who knows in the end he may have ruined his families day too

its off down the hill now with Buxton in sight
oh no we need to get back the time is tight
that garage is open its time for some fuel
then back up the hill in the shadows and cool

we break out the shadows and into the light
i really do hope that poor biker's alright
we rounded the corner and saw the blue light
i bet his little spill has given his mates a fright

its back down the hill to congestion and grime
but haven’t we just had such a wonderful time
the drug that i needed i got by big fix
why cant the low life today do this stuff for kicks

well back to the car park where we randomly met
how much better can today get?
we went for a wonder and sat in the sun
neither of us wanting tomorrow to come

then came the time when we had to get home
we shifted ourselves with a puff and a moan
we said our goodbyes and went our own ways
don’t you just love these kind of days

my mind was a buzz and the adrenaline high
now it was time to let this beast fly
off down the road with it going at full throttle
i questioned myself......have i got the bottle

off down the M6 with the wind in my face
don’t you just love life at this pace
i got home, the sun almost gone
you cant have more fun with all your clothes on

why are those days always so short?
we had such a giggle, a laugh and a snort
its back to work now with the dirt and the grime
i really cant wait until next time

WISDOM OF WOMAN

And she said to me,
"My silence is my compliance,"
And she said to me,
"You are not listening to me,
Your words misrepresent me,
Your words deceive me."
She said to me

And she said to me,
"Why?"
And she said to me,
"It is wrong what you are doing,
Your acts represent you,
Your acts deceive me."
She said to me

And she said to me,
"If I trust you - can I trust you?"
And she said to me,
"I can forgive you but not forget.
My feeling is for you and mankind.
My feeling is for me,"
She said to me.

Bit rough and ready but I hope it gets the sentiment over.

loose my vengeance not on the dead
but on myself and hope to spray,
a little loving elsewhere too,
a 'little death' the pacifist way.

Anticipation:

A party is coming; we're going to have fun
Baby-sitter arranged, route all planned out
Clothing all sorted, what little we need
Looking forward to pleasure, to give and receive

A party is coming, don't know if we dare
They might all hate us, no-one will talk
Feeling self-conscious, ugly and fat
Fearing rejection, we best stay at home

A party is coming; we're going to have fun
That Jacuzzi is waiting, flesh to be touched
Kisses to give out, complements given
Looking forward to lusting, over bottom and bust

A party is coming, don't know if we dare
We might not perform, not make the right noises
Don't want to look stupid, don't want to be jealous
Fearing the worst, maybe not bother

A party is coming; we're going to have fun
Realised it's the same, both for me and for you
Making new friends, reaching out with both hands
There is nothing to fear, we will be with our friends
Don't know them as yet, with luck soon we will
It's time for a party, before we're too old

There was a bit of me in my last one and some more of me in this, but I hope its recognisable to others.

ROOM 226

Plastic cards are used to open the doors
corporate colours adourn the walls the floors.
Monday had come, hotel life resumed,
Dinner then breakfast as last week consumed.

Some have thought an exciting life.
for me just another week away from the wife.
Stop complaining, you chose this, I ponder and muse.
the suit and the boot too frightened to lose.

You wanted your house, your bathroom en-suite.
You wanted your paved drive, your borders trimmed neat.
You wanted that car with its fat alloy wheels.
You wanted to shake hands, to close on the deals.

And now you complain, its still not enough.
With stiffened white collar and jewel in the cuff.
You've reached your crossroad, now go make the choice.
Both heart and brain offer their voice.

To return to the life you tasted before.
Where brass key fitted your own front door.
Or stay on this path, this unatural mix
Where home is the foyer and room, two twenty six.

Here's a more lighthearted one from me. And before you all think I've been insulted, he didn't actually call me that, but it rhymed lol

I remember the sound of the birds in the trees
I remember the warmth of the soft summer breeze
I remember the feel of your hand across my shoulder
And the redness of your arms as your skin began to smoulder

I can still see the sky, not a cloud to be seen
And the fields all around us in all shades of green
I remember the way round those winding country lanes
And the sound of your heart pumping blood round your veins

I can still smell the fragrance of those garden centre flowers
And the way that I wanted to sit with you for hours
I remember forgetting my keys on the bench
And you calling me a "droopy titted wench"

I smile when I think of my face - "It's still there"
And your confusion - "Your face? Still where?"
And my panic at touching you in a public place
And the cows in the field having a water trough race

The rabbits not getting thrown out at six thirty
And both of us wishing that we could get "dirty"
But enjoying the time we spent all the same
I really can't wait to see you again

The smile didnt leave my face all the way home
Its still there now as I write this poem
You're really quite something, lobster man
Oops sorry, you said - "I'm a bronzed god I am!"

Ok, I'm getting the impression that this poetry thing is getting out of hand. Let me set the scene.

Misschief and I were exchanging eMails while I was sitting in the office today and spontaneous rhyming broke out. I was late dropping her a line and guilt took over leading to the first post in this little exchange.

It was easy to forget where I was at the time ! I'm in red and Misschief is in blue

{oh, and it's a bit rude too icon_redface.gif icon_twisted.gif }

Then Andrew saw the bloomin' time
and realised he'd done a crime
The customers just wouldn't stop
and his brain was fit to drop
He hoped that she would forgive him
though he knew his chances slim

Just been sat here pining away
Why my Carpy won't look my way
Coughing, sighing towards my hun
trying to get his attention
How silly!! I don't have to pout
Look this way, my boobs are out!

He sees her boobs and shakes with lust
to caress those orbs a real must
After that lead what can he do
but find something of that style too
He hopes she won't easily shock
as he takes out his hardening cock
It's held close to his darlings mouth
before his lips start heading south..........

brushing it across his darlings mouth
let me enjoy before heading south
with the kisses and licks so gentle
My desire is to drive you mental
My mouth holds you loving and caring
OMG the office are staring !!!!

{cough}

We'll get our coats.........

It seems Dear Tune you have an issue,
No need to cry hun, here's a tissue
If you're struggling to get it up
Just come north and try your luck

As your adopter I feel its my duty

I'll do my best to help you out
And I'll even have a wash so I don't smell of trout

It's said in the north west we have more fun
You could be here in a day or two if you run
There's a bed made up for you to rest
Then we'll have fun when you're feeling your best

I'll take you in hand and see what arises
I've even been known to win a few prizes
I can't discuss them in public just yet
But one of them involves me getting wet

Don't worry Tune, we'll get it sorted
And if we keep quiet you won't get deported
You need to be up here in my presence
for me to help you with your lack of tumescence!

Tears oh tears are brimming full.
My fears are not about my tool.
My dreams are full of Angel Chat,
To whom I have to doff my hat.

I have to say I'm now ecstatic
To boot it really is emphatic.
I have no longer a fear of excrescence
I truly can exclaim "tumescence!"

Thank you Angel - truly a treasure in heaven icon_exclaim.gif

I owe my enjoyment of the Bard of Shrop,
To listening to my elderly uncle’s records, not pop,
But classical music, some from vinyl discs old and worn,
Including works of Mr Williams, also named Ralph and Vaughan.

“On Wenlock Edge the wood’s in trouble

Dear Mr. Lonely,

Breathed my wants and touched my thoughts
Whispered to me of times gone on
Surrounded me with scents of desires

Time moved slowly by and you began to
wander through my mind,
Running your fingers across my dreams
Twilight echoed around the room when you
allowed me to lay my hopes on your chest

And my beliefs at your feet
And I knew, felt blanketed in the knowledge
You will always be,
Sincerely, all my hopes and needs

search for answers.

I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain,
nor the future with its untold stories.
But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can't keep your feet from stumbling.
I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.

Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;
Yet I can share in your laughter.

Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you,
and help you when you ask.

I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,
from your values, from me.
I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.

I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,
room to be yourself.

I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces
and put them back in place.

I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be your friend.

I was sent this poem and I would like to share it with you

I Want to Fly

The night I met you
in words only on a screen
I knew I had to have you
not only in my dreams!
The words that we have shared
have caused my heart to care
At first I was a little frightened
to share myself with you
but you showed me ways to
make my nights brighten
You loved my body over and over again
you took me to heaven and made me live again!
I have come to want to devour you
not just on this place
but I want to touch your body
and feel you near
I want to hold you tightly
not just in words
but face to face:
I want to pleasure you in all the ways we shared,
I want to do things to you that
others would only dare:
I want to make our fantasies
all come true
for, babe, I want to fly with you.
