isnt this so annoying im really p*****sed off
bopeep - if the result timed out then you have a connection issue, something is blocking the ports needed for flash applications.
What isp are you with, i forget? Also any new security software or change of hardware that could have triggerd it?
maybe_me - if you passed, thats quite confusing, could you try a few times to see if you pass all of them over the space of 10 minutes or so.
I'll look into this more tomorrow.
managed to get in this moring, so seems to be ok, will try again when i get in from work.
thanks Elliot

Bo - Hopefully it will remain open - i just hope your ISP isn't blocking the ports at peak times like the same issue we had with tiscali a while back. What is your ISP?
Also maybe_me, whats your isp? And is it any better today for you.
Thanks.

hi elliot m with virgin and tried test 5 - 6 times all passed the only thing im having trouble with is
getting into chat
please help im going insane ![]()
Did you follow steves advice on the previous page.
1) Clear Temp Internet Files
2) Uninstall and Reinstall Flash.
This should solve any issues you're having if you pass the connection test.
Can't get into chat room at all...have tried all the above, just get to server one and it hangs there.
thats exactly what i have.... done every thing u said n no luck ![]()
Hi,
I need to see a trace to the chat server from your accounts.
If you're on Windows XP or earlier:
Goto Start > Run
Type 'cmd' and press enter.
in the box that pops up, type:
tracert 92.48.114.145
Wait a few seconds until it says 'Trace Complete'
Next right click anywhere on the black, and goto 'Select All'
Hit enter on your keyboard.
Come to this thread start a reply, and right click in the message window and goto 'Paste'
This will paste the data into here and i can diagnose the issue.
Thanks,
Elliot
rightn i did that this is what is said
'92.48.114.145' is not recognised as an internal or extrenal command operable or batch file.
also its the same on main pc which i just did that on as laptop just crashed on me and lost everything ffs ![]()
This is what I got maybe.

Hi maybe_me,
From what its returning, it seems you aren't typeing the 'tracert' word before the ip address.
Type exactly:
tracert 92.48.114.145
On one line, nothing else.
right this is what i got

any ideas?????
Hi,
It seems that some of your network hardware has blocked the server.
I would suggest you restart your router in the dining room, and what i can guess is an Virgin modem box near your tv.
Simply turn them off, wait 10 sec and turn them on again.
Let me know if that works.
Thanks,
Elliot
ok will do that tomoro fed up now lol thanks for ur help so far
