I'd like to big up Mar of Jaymar.
Just for being Mar
The courage and huge heart of a very special friend who's an inspiration to everyone deserves the biggest 'big up' I can possibly imagine
well my son isn't going to read this as he's 14 and i'm not showing him the site.
however, i'm very proud of him!! he's just come back from scout camp in the lakes. while there he has taken the championship for archery for the second year running. but the biggest thing for me is that he has managed to control, though not totally overcome, a huge fear of open water that he has had from being a baby. this is not something that is just in his head or caused by an accident. it causes massive panick attacks and has been heartbreaking at times while watching him try and be strong to overcome it. he is actually a strong swimmer and they can use float aids so that is not the problem. this time though he was even able to capsize a canadian (type of canoe) and get out, a massive achievement!
this is the second anual camp where there has been open water. one of which was the river wharf. now while i want to big up my son for his couragous efforts in not backing down to this fear, i also want to big up the rest of the people there. the group is run by family and friends which has been a big help. but i also wanted to mention all the other scouts. they have all wittnessed his fear and panick. anyone of them could have picked on him about it and made him feel worse. however, they have been wonderful in their encouragement and support!!
a truely fantastic set of people!!!
whips
Thats brilliant Whips!
Let's hope he ends up like me (well, not literally!)
I was petrified of the sea after almost drowning when I was about 11, on holiday in Weymouth. I decided to face up to it when I was in my late 20's, so I went sea swimming.
It worked- from that day to this it's difficult to get me out of- or off- the water.
Fingers crossed ![]()
I wanna big up a friend of mine who yesterday clinched what I hope will be the first of many National Championships in his chosen sport....
I know it sounds cryptic but to say too much would give too much away about a group of people we(my family and I) are close to....
And a

I want to say thank you in advance to all my friends for their kind offers of help during the time I'll be recouperating. Extra kudos for 2 very special people who, despite having enough to deal with themselves right now, have made me promise to take it easy and call on them if I need anything ( I do love it when you're forceful
)
Not forgetting my lovely vanilla who's volunteered to be my taxi service for the duration
I wanna big up Sassy-Seren - cos she's lovely to people and hasn't got a bluddy clue just how lovely and nice she is
i want to big up 2 magic hands.
I don't know her except from chatting now and then in the chatroom but she is always looking beautiful on cam.
She really makes an effort and is always a joy to view.Great personality and gets plenty of attention because of the way she carries herself.
A lovely lady, and anybody who gets to share time with her has it made.
I would just like to say thank Jaymar for being a rock. She always replies to my depressing Pms with a smile and a good heart.
I'd like to wish her luck for next week. not that she needs luck being a wonderful person. ![]()
I'm gonna big up Mar of Jaymar- for being utterly fantastic, and making a great impression in her new job.
Here today, Gonorrhoea tomorrow!

I'd like to big up a friend who always cheers me up, always takes time to chat when I'm being a miserable sod
and tonight has made me feel warm and safe by sending me a huge, tight, everlasting virtual hug.
He won't thank me for outting him as a lovely fella, so I'll just say, Mr X, thank you for being there.
You are a gem.

You pair of crazy insulting nutters are bloody amazing people. You welcome newbies into your home and help them with answering questions on swinging. You help newbies get into the sceen by giving them a chance to get to know others socially.
You also welcome oldies round all the time. You make me and many others feel very welcome in your home. OK so you call me names, insult me and even spatualise me (I think I made that word up
) but you are a brilliant couple. Warm welcoming and I am so chuffed to have you as mates
