thanks for all the advice on getting into rooms sadly none of which improved things i was getting resigned to having to find a new site when i had a though as a user of XP why not simply do a system restore, so i took my resore point to before the problems became huge and het presto on rebooting access to rooms and no hanging up after a short time give it a try it may work for you

hello all,
have [like a few people] been scuppered lately in getting into the chatroom.
the probelem i have is that it says it is loading, but then nothing happens, every time...
there are a few suggestions about using a different windows thing, but i have to confess that i'm just not up withcomputers at all, and have no idea what any of that means. is it a new free download, or new softwrae from somewhere?

i realise the site is changing, and that is fine, but i have no idea how to change with it!!

that's great. wish i knew what i had to do to improve the windows thing... can i download new softwrae or do i have to buy an upgrade windows?

sorry... just not very computer literate!

Never had any real problems with chat until the last week or so when everything became ridiculously slow and laggy, so bad infact that I keep timing out and finding I can't re-enter (this new 5 minute wait thing is bloody irritating as well!). Nothing to do with my PC being unable to cope, as it's spanking new top end and didn't have any problems until the last week. Any info on what's causing the problem, and it/when it's gonna be fixed? Thinking I'll cancel my membership for a bit then restart it when things are running properly.

My persona won't leave when I do

This has happened a few times now... I leave a chatroom and my name stays on the list in the room (even when I close the window and log out)- then of course I can't get back in as it thinks I am already there

I have been in the NE room for around 14hrs

Hi Tony,
When I view a webcam in the chatroom, it plays for a few secounds and then freezes!any ideas?

server 1 seems to be playing up. It appears to be loading then doesn't populate any of the boxes (rooms, usernames etc) and leaves you stuck in a pale grey no-mans land.

Most likely chat thought you were already in there, try it now.

yippee got to server 2 wanted to go to server 1 ok easy...................not likely good old grey screen for 3 mins then cos i used the X to leave im told you cant re-enter for 5 mins please use log out button, well i would if it had been highlighted

for some reason when i try to log into the chat rooms all i get is a blank screen,this has only started this weekend,have no idea why

Hi,

I also have the same problem.

Over the last couple of days when I try to login to the chatroom the chatroom screen loads but the userlist is empty and the menus also do not work. If I try to refresh I get kicked.

Please advise.

Hi there I was hoping you could help me, I have been trying all week to get in the chat rooms as I have been a memeber for a while now but when I try and open the chat window up pops the window with just a small red cross in the top left hand cornor to indicate that it is not opened, please help as I miss this service

I suspect that your computer is missing the flash software which is essential to use the chat room.

try removing flash by un-installing it then install it fresh by clicking <a href="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash "> here. </a>
