Blue has been backed into a corner I think although any discussion on religion is going to be fraught with arguement.
Maybe if the question was based more on 'Should schools be allowed to teach hatred and intolerance between peoples of different religions' then maybe that would be better, I don't know.
It does seem to me that any teachings of intolerance shouldn't be taught at school and that includes the Bible of which I have no love for, however remarkable a document it is. I also believe that schools should be a place to learn about secular issues taught in a secular way and that hypothetical subjects, however real to some, should be a choice made away from school. How that would be achieved i can't even speculate.
Religion in all its choices should be a choice made by an individual searching for their individual needs. As with racism, no one can stop peoples thoughts and ideas about what is right or wrong for them, but it can be made wrong to extol its virtues by ways and means public.

I think you probably think along the same lines as we do Bouncy. I'm almost sure as the guy in our relationship I'd find it incredibly difficult to accommodate another guy fathering an unasked for child in J and I's relationship. Though, as a rule, I'm anti termination in all but extreme cases I'd probably think selfish;y and offer up that solution.
OK so the title is a bit misleading, I just put it knowing members such as Sassy Seren would look at it and have trouble keeping their lunch down :
Hypothetically if given the chance, Say you could and it was free and available to you would you put your wife husband partner if they were willing and could do the same back, through a lie detector test just for fun/interest? The questions would be unknown by the partner before taking it?
I think i'd be OK with taking the test as I'm not sure if there anything I've held back from J, though there are no doubt things that occurred before we we're together but the subject need or thought hasn't been around to need to do so. On the other hand, would I be offended asking me to do it? Would it be ideal curiosity or a latent thought coming to the fore a mild distrust in me or would it be more?
Looking for our local room in the chat today (Which is a pain the arse now, the drop down room window from the top of the screen was far better, Though credit where it's due the actual chat bit of the screen is OK)and I came across this room:-
chat about wives pregnant thru swinging or cheatin
Now I know there are rooms i'm not happy with on a purely personal basis but this one is way too left of center for me. I can honestly say that I would be appalled at something like this occurring in my life and i'm not quite sure at what level I'd react but I know it would be not be a happu scenario to say the least. What do others think of this sort of thing?
On Dave's theme...Dual carriageway going into three lanes approaching a roundabout with three other exits coming off it at 9 0'clock 12 0'clock and 3 0'clock. Why the f*ck do so many cars approach on the nearside lane intending to come off at 3 0'clock? Does my head it does.
Yeah - totally with you on your observations smooth2 have noticed the same and feel as you do
I really like reading the CA though I post rarely as I can't be arsed with the almost at times fanatical research and work that goes into it's discussions/debates/arguments/goading. This is certainly not an indictment on the CA more envy I guess at my lack of willing to put the google footwork in before posting and then arguing the toss ad-nauseum over technicalities but a big up for those who do.
In saying this the CA has taken some of the people who posted interesting stuff away from the cafe leaving the cafe wanting and undermanned. The cafe forum needs the mix of all topics for me as i like to spill over from topic to topic without having to leave the room.
I've come to realise new posters will always have to suffer the feelings of having the proverbial shit kicked out of them but there are those that will support and encourage them as well so maybe it's horses for courses in the end./ Those posters who have been banned in recent times are a loss to SH forums as by enlarge their contributions over time have been great and very worthwhile. Although, I can see that at one point on time things were going awry and moods were not in good places the posts became acrimonious childish and petulant and something had to be done. A shame really as I feel the reprisals were too harsh but hey I wasn't privvy to behind the scenes.
Get the cafe back to full strength lets have lively discussions together with silliness sadness and the lame but necessary welcome and happy whatever day threads.
As for moderation? No one says we cant complain or whinge or applaud how it takes place but its done by people who are just that, people. There are rules which must be adhered to and has to be done by interpreting them with their own ideas and opinions, and as such, the way the moderation tales place can appear, especially to those affected at any given point, to be uneven, whether or not it is matters not. They are moderators and have been chosen, by the administration, based on their willingness and integrity to do what is best.
If it was a sex only forum it would be shite. It's nice for people with similar hobby interests to be able to chat about other stuff as well and if i'm with friends in a cafe then we discuss everything and anything bar our 'hobby' unless we're with swingers. It seems tome the forums here reflect that with the added benefit of being able to drop fisting or anal sex type discussions into the mix - Forum should be diverse and inclusive for all subjects and kept in one place.
Hardened Swingers, hmmmm, knife play maybe?
French Basque cake
My daughter is preparing menu's leading up to her mocks in catering and being asked this week to prepare two courses of her own choosing from any country. Well this week she decided on French. So, practicing at home we did a main of 'Confit of Salmon with Hollandaise sauce served with fresh vegetables as a main followed by French Basque cake served with Creme Fraiche.
The Basque cake was simple enough and quite a revelation and something that was new to me. Best I can describe it is that i was reminded of Bakewell tart without the pastry. It was quite lovely which is surprising really as in my mind French Desserts are, bar the odd exception, by and large pretty crap in comparison to British desserts.
All of the above is not wrong, Just maybe its the "one upmanship" going on that always damn welll is
Sitting on my bollox in the car and not really knowing about it until I get out car at journeys end. I really hate that!
Personally dont mind it really. Apart from the odd one or two, in my view, most of the models are attractive and pleasing to look at.I guess there is the point of all erotic art or pornography or glamour photography or or or...etc that the ladies are being used objectively. Maybe that's something that's unconsciously inherent in most of us to a greater or lesser degree
