OK to business plans and being consumer led, which is bollox really its more a case of the 'consumer being led' business plan. Having the stuff in the shops so early just panics a lot of people into buying so much more than maybe they want. Why do I know this? Because i'm one of those who starts early when the stuff comes into the market place thinking "I'll get it all sorted before the Christmas rush"
Good idea in principle but like most people, or at least most I know, I end up just getting carried along with it all and spending right up to the last minute then regretting it later when the bills come in. And before any smart arse says "That's you being weak" I fu*king know that! But i'm in good company with the majority of households around the country who are normal and bow down to peer pressure and not some of the gifted people who are never influenced by marketing and can brush off the hype without a second thought.
It's a bastard that consumerism and the credit debt that a lot of us end up in is what drives the economy just to let that debt bite us in the arse and get told that we all owe to much on credit and how silly we all are and then when we stop spending then the economy f*cks up. Rock and a hard place come to mind. and the cost is...Miserable/painful f*cking January and February.
As for products being available at Christmas. Its not as if things are not available throughout the year anyway as regards gifts, booze and food, which to my small brain is the average households main cost, it's the peropherals such as cards, lights decorations (although freely available on line 52weeks a year) and trees that are generally seasonal.
Theres a lot of us out there think like 777, for right or wrong, that Christmas trading starting so early is bollox it's talked about on all the mass media its a big talking point and bone of contention with millions of people around the world who like me are easily led by nefarious evil doings of the business market forces. I hate being a mug but realise I've not got much choice with that much weight of commerce against me unless I want to be a miserable Billy no mates. But hey to those sanctimonious self controlled free thinking un-persuadable people out there. At least I help them feel better about themselves for their own powers of restraint and forebearance at this jolly time of year we call Christmas.
F*ck market forces (won't happen in my lifetime unless the balloon goes up) December should be the month where Christmas should appear in the shops and on the streets and middle of January should be when its all done and dusted, including New years celebrating(unless, before anyone points out that other cultures religions etc, Are different)
I'm damned sure if there was a national poll that the government took the information from and implemented then Christmas would indeed be shorter. Won't happen because while we are all held by the balls credit wise we are a malleable docile flock keeping the capitalist dream(nightmare) alive.
Our town Christmas street lights, though not lit up yet, have been up for over a month now. Crazy as they were only taken down at the end of March! works out at only six months break. So crazy whoever decided this as it's not as though they're are that many or special in anyway, in fact they are, in comparison to most comparable towns, a locally talked about let down

OK so you've talked/met and thought hmmm cool we're all agreed a shags on the cards. How do you move on from the point of finishing a meal or a drink or small talking or whatever to the actual doing the duuuurty? Do you you have the balls to say something like " OK nice meal now lets wanna f*ck"? Or do you pop on a porn video and hope someone gets the idea it's time to 'up it a notch' What do you do?
We joined around the same time as Tweekle and find ourslves tending to agree with all he has said I also happen to think that dividing the forums, though a good idea in principle, has diluted the forum and the forum users. Where the forum was integrated there was a greater diversity of topics and posters who now tend to stay either to the cafe or to the current affairs whereas under the same heading posters would venture into the topics and join in they now stay away from because they are, you could say 'in a different room'. As for the just for fun and welcome rooms ...... :giveup:
SH is still probably the best site for swingers on the net though it's ease of use, for me at least, is not so good as it was but then I'm pretty sh*te at using facebook or any of the other networking sites. In the end Lost like chatting and swinging and for us a simple(very) chat room a lively integrated forum and a fathomable search/meet today facility.

Lost like playing away from home, which is good as playing at home is impossible at the moment, although if it was possible we would like to bring swingers home to play as it would just be so much easier. In saying that there is one couple we really love going to see as it's just such a nice time hanging out with them at their place that we'd just hope that in the future if it was possible we could invite them here and the dynamic would remain the same
