Swinging is tangible and more fun than faith in any religion so my advice would be to drop religion.
Sadly the only thing I think I know a fair bit about in depth would be concrete, yes concrete, the stuff that is usually grey and goes hard, exciting or what. I would add that I do however believe I am aware enough on a multitude of subjects to be able to 'have a bit of a go at' and least have a starting opinion on them.
Trev I am envious of your interest in history especially the military side and even more especially the Napoleonic era. My heroes come from then namely Nelson and also taking into account his monomaniacal streak Napoleon.
How cool a time are you going to have guiding people through the sites of the Penisular wars or what! Got any plans afoot for 2015 I wonder?

Thing this one has got twisted and confusing, people have said that budget/cheap processed food is to blame not least through long supply chains to get them onto the shcelves usually as own brand produce, I have said I do NOT consider Findus to be budget/cheap products.
I said it was the fault of the supermarkets not the consumer in answer to the allegation that is is the consumers fault that prices have been driven down, when I believe that those who have to buy budget products through circumstance are still in that position whilst supermarkets who are often the ones pushing farmers for the cheaper products are still making huge profits.

The only circumstance that makes people buy budget processed food is laziness.
It would be far cheaper to buy the ingredients and make your own. One would also have the advantage of knowing what you are buying.

I can't fully agree with you here flower not really not for most things. I make a point of cooking from fresh produce and also baking bread making pasta pastry, cakes etc. portion for portion i find it almost without exception more expensive to cook from scratch.
There is a case I guess that if cooking in bulk then it becomes less expensive but to achieve the same diversity of interesting tasty meals I really do find it more expensive to cook from scratch. I still do cook though as it is far and away tastier and more nutritional together with the idea that I am doing something functional and important for my family in a personal way and with consideration and love. It might sound a small thing too some that I can show affection this way but I think I do.

Why is it always the poorest in society that get hammered the most?

Because the richest make the rules and they don't give a flying fuck about the poor. Hear the screams about not being able to cope and being forced to move if the mansion tax ever arrives (not likely though).
Aye N'westcpl you aint wrong
There should be another section of forum created called "Cheap shots" smile
Fluid bonded! If that's trendy speak for barebacking then I should hope it is unlikely. Fluid bonded for goodness sake talk about trying to pretty up a dangerous practice
I can see the value in what you say GnV, surely though, some who participate in the site, thinking of here in the forums at times, should or are getting lots of "words in their shell likes" :lol2:
Your advice would be to report and mine would be to not report. I guess it's up to the individual to decide.. As its not abuse and no rule broken under AUP under what title would you you report it as?
It's not particularly that abusive really is it? If that's how they interpret your profile, and you're happy with it, then it's they who have the problem. Just delete the comment and get on with doing what you want to do. Let's be honest there is nothing seriously abusive going on. OK you might think how dare they think that we the number one couple or that they think they would have to beg to talk to you. Well if that's how they see it then it's more about their own insecurities possibly. We've seen you and spoken to you in chat land and you come across fine and never seem to have a problem with the people speaking to you or you them. You're a popular couple so you are obviously doing something right.
I wouldn't report them as they've not said anything i'd class as abusive. More sort of an unwelcome comment. It would be a bit to sensitive to get upset about such things.
I like being married and I like saying I'm married and I like the fat we've been married for nearly 20 years and neither of us have previous spouses - Yup I like marriage

Said a load of stuff

Gives really good explanation of events

TH you took time out to put in perspective for me thank you it'd appreciated.
Most of the local area rooms have died. I think this is due in large part to being able to occupy multiple rooms at one as well as being able to stream cams into multiple rooms also. Real shame as I think the 'real Swinging' opportunities have been curtailed due to this.
Add in the fact that there are other sites, granted not even half as good as SH, that offer free membership whereas SH isn't cheap, especially up against free, it's a tough market place at the moment.
Something is nagging my brain about all this. I reckon Mitchell probably did call the plod 'plebs' and I think plod probably tried to exploit it. Whatever the upshot, this whole episode is a media made molehill to mountain. For crying out loud who in real life would take that much offence at being called a pleb. At one time I used to here it being banded about all over the place and why should someone lose their freaking job for calling someone a pleb. I can't imagine it going through Mitchell's mind that the most offensive thing he could call him was a pleb. It is such a non story it defies belief. It's all just wordy bollox to keep us all from thinking about the more serious issues.

76-0 if Sarah Hunter was a man, and a mens' team had that kind of result then there would be MBEs and front page news.
Just Saying

 to that for sure.
Having Italy beat France is a fine thing indeed :bounce: and will make for an unmissable six nations this year. I can't call it but i have a feeling its going to be a close run thing between four of the nations.

You know Paul80, there are millions of people out there today who can remember Germany and France smashed and broken after the second world war. Britain after 6 long years of war was on it's knees but was never broken. They would do well to remember that fact, in that there is not a GREAT in front of Britain for no reason.

Star! Britain has given the world some great in the past there is no doubt. The problem is that it was in the past and for some reason you, and your not the only one, want to live in the past and you keep harping on about it. Can you not understand that other nations of the world don't want it rammed down throat at every juncture. The world is a different place now and why should other countries defer to history all the time. Yes, we should learn from history but we can't go on living in it.
TH's post
>>Stop being a Little Englander and try to understand the world that you live in. That attitude is why we had an empire and it is why so many revile us - an assumption that we are simply better than everyone else. Sorry Star, you earn respect in the modern world and all we are known for at the moment is moaning, bickering and whining about how unfair the world is<< just about nails it and i'm not a lover of TH's view on a lot of stuff but I'm happy to be able to agree with him.
Learn from others Star and not be so bloody hard headed to change your views when the evidence proves you should rather than trying to defend the indefensible. If you can't then back away from it

As I am godlike . . .
My Partner J hails from Leeds and so I married a barbarian.

Lies! Losty, if you were even remotely like unto God then you would know that Yorkshire is God's Own County and Leeds is its beating heart. You might struggle to find a divine presence on a Saturday night out down the city centre right enough but it is there. Some of the girlies look a bit divine anyways, as I'm sure you've already found. So there!:P
The divine women in Leeds city center on Saturday night are indeed divine along with being hard as nails and scary as all of bloody hell. Far scarier than the blokes! lol
As for the counties of Yorks...I'll grant you there is nothing quite like the beauty of the place. It's awesome.
I don't feel like a European and I'm possibly a little bit anti European. And I expect that may have something to do with history and that for the most part I am proud of that history. I suspect those on mainland Europe probably have more of a kinship with each other for sharing the same land mass and borders with each other and consequently don't really regard Britain in the same light. Even to the degree that they think Britain is mostly just antagonistic. They may well have a point too.
In saying what I have I do however feel that leaving the EU is a retrograde step and a bad move. Of course being a net contributor to the EU the rest of the EU want us to remain/ Therein lies the problem because if we leave taking our contributions with us I get the feeling that there would be no incentive for the other nations to take any notice of us whatsoever. In fact I feel we would get the finger from most of them without a backward glance and with that make trading with them far more difficult. We are not a big enough fish to expect we can just drop the EU and have no detrimental effect on our trade.
As Minx put so well in her last post Europe was/is pushing to fast to soon towards integration and on to being a geopolitical and economic super power and its not ready for that. Not yet. It would be lovely to be able to have Europe just as a large trading block. It would, however, in my mind be great to be able to get back and keep our political, and as much as we can of our legal autonomy, as is possible and I would like that part of Britain to remain wholly British for a lot lot longer.
It would be great to see Cameron, or whoever at whatever time, renegotiate our relationship with Europe on those basis. Surely though it comes to a point where we can only push Europe so far before they tell us to f*ck off and that would be too our detriment.
I believe it's imperative we stay within the EU (but secretly and romantically I think its a shame although that's my heart ruling my head)
As I am godlike, and as god is an Englishman, then I guess I'm English smile
Historically as far back as we can tell then my fathers side of the family were immigrant Russian and french peasantry and ended up in N London. On my mothers side we are from the midlands and up until the early nineteenth century agricultural workers then moving into Birmingham and working primarily in the arms factories until post WW2. most of my family still reside either in the London s/east region or In Birmingham. My Partner J hails from Leeds and so I married a barbarian. Is a Barbarian English?

I have heard so many horror stories regarding condoms over the years (pin holes, out of date, etc) that we always supply them. No matter who we play with, we use ours. Untrusting? Possibly! But better to be safe than sorry!

Ditto Funlovers. We too buy and supply without compromise
I love looking at the pics of my wife she id just the sexiest thing on two legs. I must confess I don't wank over them as such but we both look at them now and then as a prelude to sex.
After seeing how many people, my parents included, are after 20 years together I just thank my lucky stars that I love and lust after her more everyday. Especially as at the start I thought I loved her as much as was humanly possible.

Not sure that would be in SH's remit Mimx. lets face it bareback pregnancy rooms are not discouraged within the chatrooms and there are no visible unsafe sex warnings anywhere.

Lost I am a bit lost over your comment.
If people on an adult site are not aware of the risks with strangers over sex, then I am confused.
I think SH have adopted the right approach by assuming that adults know about safe sex, and the practice of it amongst people we have not met before. The pregnancy rooms here I believe are just fantasy rooms.
Can you explain to me please Lost why this site should have to remind adults on here about the need for safe sex? That to me would imply they would think we had to be reminded, and I would worry about that.
Yes I could explain it to you
You are right Minx and i'd love to see a warning up regarding these condoms. I just don't see it happening that's all smile
I have put this message on both forums just to make others aware if not all ready
I have Just been asked if I have heard about the discovery of fake condoms and just read this news item and thought others should be aware.

Luckily we haven't met for years now.
I wonder if others here know?
People look for bargains but do we always get the standard we expect?
Could sh as a site try and help warn people about these, taking into account what the site is used for?

Think we feel the same as NWC. Hey and if you fancy a sixsome going to a club we'd be up for a bit of that! Oh and Mrs B ...j says theres nowt wrong with Mr B's size he's a sexy bloke!

Tell J, that apart from Mr B being VERY sexy, he is also one hell of a fantastic kisser, I miss my snogs with him at the Munches.
I think we should sort out this 'six-some' wink
oh you guys!! redface thanks for your lovely words :inlove: I shall pass them on to Mr B
Big Hint http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopic/413169.html huh huh Two birds with one stone and all that.................smile
In '06 when J and i first joined SH and first started this Swinging malarcky there was barely a fortnight went by when there wasn't a 'social' social going on somewhere to say nothing of the, at least six I think was, munches that took place that year.
What I'm talking about is the purely social event that took place in halls and pubs etc. We loved going to them and of course for many they weren't really just socials but the swinging stuff tended to go on afterwards at the after parties (phwoar to one or two of those too)
I realise that they could amount to a bloody expensive night out and that people are having to be a little more careful with their cash in the here and now. Is this a reason really? Is there a link to be made with there being so many more swinging clubs now and that people tend to use these instead? The cost comparison between pub/hall socials and swing club meet ups can't be that massive once you've paid entry and sorted accommodation if staying over etc. I do realise that a lot of clubs you take your own booze too som maybe that's a factor. Together with the idea that a Swing club sort of makes more sense if the idea is to get a possible shagging result maybe.
Or is it that swinging is not the 'new black anymore'?
Must admit that i'm not that keen on trying a VDP with J as im not really interested in rubbing my cock against another without having at least something other than a condom between them albeit both inside a woman. Not that interested in DP full stop really although i know J would like to give VDP a go
