Jimmy Saville, someone was going to bring it up, might as well be me.
Well right now JS is not the issue for discussion by those here, hopefully the accusations will be properly investigated and the truth will out, right now he is an innocent man and I will reserve comment until I know otherwise.
But the BBC and others who have actively prevented the truth being known before now must be made to pay in some way for what they may have done.
Allegations of this nature are too serious to ignore by anyone, for someone to prevent an investigation on financial grounds or for reasons of popularity are disgusting, anyone involved should be severely dealt with and perhaps even charged with preventing justice or withholding information, interfering with a police investigation or something I am sure there are some laws covering what they appear to have done.
Perhaps some justifiable compensation claims should be looked into.
Depending how much was known and how many allegations were recieved by the persons at the BBC perhaps even criminal charges can be brought against individuals who perverted the cause of justice or actually ended up assisting criminal activity by way of turning a blind eye.
Hopefully justice or some of it will not take as long as it did with the Catholic Church but that example has shown us that justice will probably never be served.
