I've not yet seen the figures involved but my answer is no, no-one is. I once was a passionate football fan but have almost lost all interest due to the way the game has gone....

No he is not worth 250 grand a week, a week where jobs have gone too.
I am just glad that he did re sign for Man U as the thought of this useless tosser, with morals of an alley cat, playing for my football team, left me with cold sweats.
Obscene amounts of money for someone who could not hit a barn door from six foot at the moment.
Still the owners of the club think he is worth it, and bottom line is those paying the money have the right to make the decision.
I just hope the fans do not moan when their season tickets rise sharply next year, from a team that once again will be runners up and trophy less. lol

Morally no,economically he is worth whatever his club is willing to pay.

But, that's surely the point. It's not what the club is willing to pay, it's what ordinary working people will be asked to cough up out of their hard earned cash to fund this person's garishly outlandish and totally unnecessary lifestyle.
Still, I guess the people of Britain are used to paying exorbitant amounts of cash to fund such adventures - witness the amounts being paid to Council chiefs. At least they can speak the Queen's English and know how to use a knife and fork!
