Again they here to amaze us a Silver medal today in the womens downhill, I am a competent skier and could get down that course, slower than the slowest paralympian and not when blind or almost blind, all of them are fantastic and show us what a human being is capable of overcoming in our lives.
I'm sure they are doing well and I wish them well. However I am ambivalent at best towards the winter Olympics and watched very little. With only 15 Team GB athletes in the winter Paralympics it floats my boat even less.
Fair and honest comment, but nice to see that we have already set a new medal record achievement for the UK in the Winter Olympics and are set to bust previous results for ourselves wide open, perhaps in 4 years there will be a lot more than 15 athletes representing us.
Perhaps there will be far less if Scotland takes independence since many of our winter Olympians are in fact Scottish.
THEY DID IT
Great Britain's athletes have been backed to improve on their Paralympic medal haul at Rio 2016.
GB finished the 2012 Games with 120 medals, 18 more than in Beijing four years ago.
17 medals more than they had hoped for and expected.
They did us proud
They did themselves proud
They did disabled people worldwide proud
They did Paralymic sport proud
They defy the odds by being able to compete at all yet complete they do and they to it better than most of us could ever hope to achieve sports wise.
WELL DONE GREAT BRITAIN AND ALL THE PARA OLYMPIANS FROM ALL NATIONS
