I think the problem there funmates is that it takes as much effort to arrange a private meet to be watched/watch as it does for a full-on play meet... and at the end of the day most people don't get enough out of just watching/being watched to go into the trouble.
I don't think these softer forms of play are very popular right now, and the general attitude is that even when people say they are happy to watch, they would sooner be joining in given half the chance (ie. aiming to get in a voyeristic role in the hope of getting some "proper" action).Of course there is still is a lot of flashing/displaying/watching going on but it seems to be more impersonal/transitory... To the two posts above - yes, you are right! So much of this going on online, it is so easy to give it a try (from either side), very low impact, but...(do I need to say this!) ...it's not the same as being in someone's physical presence!
Never mind the dodgy lighting, the less than optimum camera angles, the usual lack of faces, the technical problems (nothing like having your wifi connection disappear at a crucial moment!) - what mostly spoils it for me is lack of sound. It is like being served a delicious dish but having had your sense of smell switched off, just not the same and perhaps spoilt to the point that it is not worth having.

To answer the OP take a trip to the chatrooms and see how many enjoy watching those on cam and how many on cam enjoy being watched, voyeurism has changed though because now you don't actually have to be there, the internet and cams have replaced the need for people to actually watch people in person so to speak.
To answer Lizanleanrob, yes you are right in saying most, but not all of us, and I find it strange, strange in understanding quite why I do not enjoy watching, I seem to be one of the few, maybe it is my age and my upbringing but it cannot be just that, at a club I find it difficult to watch people having sex or even dancing sexily on the dancefloor/pole, it makes me feel guilty and kinda pervy, it is the same at lap dancing clubs (I have friends who work at them so go to support friends but get embarrassed watching the girls walking round or on the pole) I even get embarrassed watching cams in the chatrooms so don't do it unless the people are just sitting naturally with thier cam on whilst chatting, I am midly interested when they are too oblivious to know that I am watching so do sneak a peak now and again but don't really get turned on by it.
As for watching my partner with others, absolutely not bothered, I only need to know that she is comfortable with what is happening and happy for it to take place, I do enjoy knowing that she is having fun but don't get any enjoyment out of watching her.

I am a voyeur to my wife swinging with others, I love it, although I really dont get much from joining in so I don't.
