Between Edgerton and Darwin on the A 666. About half a mile out of Edgerton take the first left woods on the left, park up and go into the woods. All types here and generally quite busy
Woodland near M60/M62 junction. Late evenings only, no car access need to leave it somewhere in the street. Or on the other side of the motorway and walk over. Quiet apart from trains and cars. Either walk through tunnel under railway and turn left along rail track or walk along motorway to near by fields. After 10-10.30PM wellies suggested just to get through the mud and flash light. First time someone told me I thought its a bad place, until you go you won't know! Keep looking once mess of the floor clear you are on the right paths look into trees and FLASH LIGHT across trees.
Great for day time meets..there are 3 car parks..use the bottom small one, as you drive in turn left, it's there...Night times meets are possible too, even though the gate will be closed, you can drive over the vehicle restriction plates, as they are knackered(you will see how when you get there)..It is a popular area for walking and dog walkers, so it will be busy during school holidays so check school holiday times for that area and probably best not to go then....Had some good meets ... postcode is PR6 9DN.

Aldi car park norrisgreen
Go up red rock lane hill. Carpark comes up on the left. Lots of activity in the woods at night
There is a purpose-built car park at Marles Wood. To find it, take a sharp left after the Ribchester Bridge if coming from Ribchester, or a right just before the bridge if coming from the A59 - it is easily missed - then follow the lane past Salesbury hall. The car park is on the left. Large and very secluded, right next to the woods.
Moses gate country park farnworth around half 5 to 7 in the morning left hand side car park as you go down the hill
there is always plenty people here and the gate at the bottom is locked but still ok to drive over the drop grids most are broke just drive over slowly noticed more around 10pm
